Pumping Machinery
Supply of submersible pumping set of Kirloskar/BS/Hindustan make comprising to latest relevant BIS Code. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller of suitable alloys conforming latest suitable for Raw Water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP, RPM 2900 of reputed make conforming to IS: 8034-1976 with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. AUTOMATION OF ENTIRE SYSTEM: The tenderer/firm shall provide proposal for automation of entire scheme upto junction points of all storage tanks and shall be automated in such a way that these are automattically operated at pre fixed hours/ time or any other logic decided by the department and operated from main SCADA centre at main Pump house. The entire automation is to be carried out as per the technical data sheets for Electrical, Instrumentation and automation works Volume III in accordance with the technical specifications for automation attached in Volume II. Electromagnetic flow meters of approved makes shall be provided at each storage reservoir outlets and its output in the shape of total quantum of water delivered in a hour day and month shall be generated at main control station. GSM based devices shall be installed at each tank location, which shall send massages through SCADA station at remote access location at main pump house. This data transmission system at each tank consists of field instruments for providing digital and analog signals to data transfer module. This module will have a communication to web data transfer system modle communication. The PLC station will have control station with programmable graphic process, mimics, real time and historical trending face plate and group display, alarm management and report with Laser Jet printers and required furniture. At each tank locations controlling devices shall be installed with water meter sensors, flow transmitters, level transmitters in each tank. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. The detailed automation proposal shall be got approved by the firm from PMU Shimla . Firm has to incorporate all the inputs and outputs suggested by the department in the SCADA. To automised the entire scheme up to junction points of all storage tanks (Decision for finalisation of proposal lies with the department without assigning any reason)as per relevent data sheet and scope of work.
