Size of module : 1645 mm x 1110 mm above ground Pedestrian Guard Railing shall have modular construction which enables to make quick assembly and install it hassle free. Main components of pedestrian guard railing like column, horizontal member and vertical members shall be made of FRP Pultruded profiles which are pre drilled, cut to size and assembled on site easily. Column shall be joined with horizontal member of railing using SS304/MS Bracket (CED black coated for corrosion prevention with salt spray test of 1000 hrs) which has drawn portion to accomodate horizontal member and two recessed holes to accomodate heads of combination fastner. Combination fastner comprisesMx6 internal threaded sleeve with Allen slot and Mx6 external threaded bolt. This bracket and combination fastner assembly design enables easy replacement of guard railing module or any damaged part thereof. | 1.02 | Providing & fixing of 1200mm high Glass Fibre Reinforced Composite railing for footpath made of 80x80x8mm inverted profile for fencing column, 50x50x6mm profiles slotted as horizontal members, 25x15mm rods for vertical members, SMC moulded square ring & cap including cover ring for 50x50mm tube. The column shall be fixed on M.S. Base plate with 2 coats of red oxide & the same shall be rested on 100mm PCC in 400x400x500mm deep pit. 60 micron thickPolyurethane paint with half mat semigloss finish should be used. All the components should have fibreglass content, Isopthalic grade resin, Water absorption, tensile strength, etc. as perspecifications. M40 grade concrete should be used for embedment of fencing column as per Drawing providedand as directed by the Engineer In-charge.
