M&L for second class hard wood factory made 35mm thick glazed and skeleton shutters, open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze, etc. (without sash bars), edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded. fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc.; sizes of me-mbers of shutters as specified in SSR Part I, Section 8, clause 8.24 (a); supplied and fitted to chowkats.

S&F for second class hard wood factory made 35 mm thick plain framed, panelled shutter (two panel) with lock rail and panel of 9 mm B.W.P. commercial ply or 12 mm veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces. S&F for factory made Solid panel PVC door shutter 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tube for top & bottom rails MS frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC 'C' channel having PVC sheet strip of 20 mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC shets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side and as gap insert for top rail and bottom rail panelling of plain colour PVC shet to be fitted in the MS frame welded/sealed to the stiles and rails with suitable PVC sheet beading and jointed together with solvent cement, supplying and fixing in the frame at site as per specification and drawing.

Taking down aluminium doors of any type and any description and re-fixing in same opening after necessary repairing such as floor spring, locks, hinges, glass, rubber beading, handles, tower bolts etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Cost of screws, misc items etc shall be included in the quoted rate ).

Taking down carefully existing aluminium sliding/openable window shutters, hacking out existing broken glass of any thickness from aluminium window shutters including existing rubber gasket etc complete and S&F for 4 mm thick plain sheet glass with and including provision of new rubber gasket and re-fixing the shutters in existing position complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully existing aluminium sliding /openable window shutters, taking down of existing stainless steel wire mesh from aluminium sliding window shutters including existing rubber gasket complete and S&F for stainless steel wire mesh of dia 0.36 mm and average width of aperture 1.40 mm with and including provision of "U" clip and re-fixing the shutters in existing position complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully aluminium sliding window shutters from the frames or chowkhat and S&F new locking arrangement in place of old one and re-fixing the same shuters in existing position etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for 75 mm thick cement concrete type D2, 1:4:8 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base complete including necessary form work.

M & L for hard core of gauge n exc 63mm, deposited spread and levelled in layers n exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface.

Taking down of existing steel rolling shutter of any type and in any description and re-fixing in same opening after necessary repair, greasing etc complete. (Note : Items to be replaced for repairing shall be measured and paid under relevent items as supply only).

Supply only safety lever lock mild steel with 4 lever for rolling shutters complete.

Taking down cement plaster or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete.

M&L for factory made chequred cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30 cm x 25 mm thick, set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry with gray cement and pigment as in floors including 20 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4.

M & L for machine cut kota stone slab flooring 20-25mm thick set and jointed in grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including mirror polishing complete laid over 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 all as specified and as directed.

M&L for joint free non skid coloured ceramic tiles first quality 7 to 8mm thick (squre or rectangular) area of each tile n.exc. 0.11sqm as in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the tiles laid over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6.

M&L for joint free non skid coloured ceramic tiles first quality 7 to 8mm thick (squre or rectangular) area of each tile exc. 0.11sqm but not exc 0.18 sqm as in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the tiles laid over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6.

All as per item No 68 above but as in skirting /dado laid over 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 complete.

M&L for joint free coloured glazed ceramic tiles first quality of size 300mmx200mmx7mm/ 450mmx 300mmx7mm thick as in vertical surfaces, dado etc, set and jointed in cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the tiles laid over & including 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4.

M&L for vitrified tiles coloured, light shade 10 mm thick, area of each tile n exc 0.36 Sqm as in floors, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the tiles laid over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6.

All as per item No 71 but as in skirting /dado laid over 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 complete.

M&L for 75 mm thick cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth protection including finishing surface even and fair without using extra cement and making joints at suitable interval duly filled with bitumen mastic and necessary form work complete.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in roof,staircase landing ,floors(other than ground floor) including removal of debrish out of MoD Land.

Taking down existing tarfelt including plaster of any type and removing the debris from site to outside MoD land complete

M&L for 40mm (average) thick cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0, using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in roof padding to maintain slope etc complete.

M&L for preparation of surface including cleaning all dirt and providing the following water proofing treatment in narrow width over the roof, chajjah, canopy, under water tanks etc of G+3 storied building (accessible / non accessible) :- (a) 10mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 on concrete surfaces using WPC @3% by weight of cement finished even and smooth. (b) Applying evenly a bituminuous primer coat conforming to IS @ 0.4 ltr /Sqm over concrete / plastered roof surface after throughly wire brushed, cleaned, washed, dried up properly. (c) Applying evenly a tack coat of bitumen 85/25 grade @1.20 kg/ sqm. (d) Laying of 3mm thick APP membrane sheet (weight not less than 3.6 Kg/Sqm) consisting of a core of 160 gms/Sqm polyster non woven fabric mat protected on both sides with a high quality polymeric asphaltic mix again protected with thermo fusible HMHDPE FILM on dried primed surface by torch application method. APP membrane will normally be laid in length at right angle to the direction of slope. The over lap shall be minimum 100mm on longitudinal direction and 150mm on the transverse direction including cuttings, grooves etc. (e) Membrane bonded completely to the substrate & the over laps are then scaled/fused by flame.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 @ 1.2 kg per sqm including cleaning surfaces complete all as specified.

M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2 (40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in foundations, mass concrete and filling in sunken floor etc.

M&L for APP based modified pre fabricated five layer 3mm thick and weighing not less than 3.6 Kg/Sqm water proofing membrane reinforced with polyester non woven fabric mat with 160gms/Sqm black finished with compatible primer conforming to IS 3488 @ 0.30 lit/Sqm, laid by torch application side overlap of 100mm and over lap of 100mm wide. At the junction of roof and parapet wall a groove of 20mmx20mm shall be made at the ht of 100mm and membrane shall be inserted and sealed with bituminous mastic damaged portion shall be made good with cement mortor. Joint/overlap sealed with torch application for parapets etc the membrane shall be taken upto 30cm with and including two coats of water proofing bituminous aluminum paint on top of membrane.

M&L for 25mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (20mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub floor complete.

S & F for steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I. S.11611979 grade St.-240 complete.

S&F for mild steel rolled sections as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates conforming to Fe 410 -W (GdeE- 250) quality-A.

M&L for cutting holes in brick walls built in cement mortar for inserting hold fasts and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 exceeding half brick wall and not exceeding one brick wall complete.

M&L in repairs for cast iron nahani trap/floor trap with CP grating including jointing with cement joint to waste pipe of 75mm dia fixed in cement concrete type B-1(1:2:4) complete all as specified
