Desilting the Uppar drain from Vanarapet Foot Bridge to Confluence Point in the Grand Canal Puducherry for the Year 2023-2024.

Desilting of drains/ canals of any cross section and maintenance of their banks and bunds by removing the silt and debris including removal of floating materials, grass, bushes, rank vegetation, aquatic plants and disinfection with approved insecticides, disinfectants confirming to I.S/ Public Health/ other relevant standards including disposal of the same within an average lead of 6 Km without polluting the environment, all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The disposed materials shall be levelled, neatly dressed to a height of not more than 50cm. The cost shall include the cost of all machineries, tools and plants, labours, head load, over head charges, working under unhygienic and foul condition, etc., complete. (The payment will be made per Sqm on plan area of drain. The width shall be taken at the bottom / sill of the drain) D) Bed width beyond 10 mts
