M&L rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on stone masonry surfaces or surfaces other than fair face of brick work of walls, mixed with water proofing compound (ISI marked), finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified. Note : - Supply only water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in two layer on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls consisting of 1st layer of 10mm thick plaster in CM 1:6 and 2nd layer (setting coat or top layer) of 5 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound (ISI marked) @ 3% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions, finished fair & even, complete, all as specified. Demolition of existing lime concrete/PCC padding, roof treatment of any thickness laid over RCC roof/chajja etc., removing complete layer of bitumen under concrete/PCC padding, cleaning and washing of roof with water to remove dust etc as preparation to receive treatment all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Treatement for sunken portion is as follows :- (i) Demolition of lean concrete and other type of filling in sunken portion & cleaned the sunken portion incl vertical wall surface complete as directed. (ii) M&L for providing 12 mm dia holes of 40mm deep @2.00m c/c at junction of beams and columns as co-ordinal points for inserting/pouring cement slurry by pressure grouting for sunken floors of toilet , includind sealing the holes with CM 1:3, all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge. (iii) M&L for water proofing plaster for sunken portion in CM 1:3, 20 mm thick in two coats with water proofing compound at the rate of 2% by weight of cement and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement. (WPC will be measured and paid seperately). (contd....)

(iv) M&L for applyin evenly two coats of industrial bitumen 85/25 at the rate of 1.20 Kg/Sqm in each coat over vertical surfaces and floors of sunken floors of toilet including cleaning of surfaces. (v) M&L for PCC 1:7:12 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in filling (sunken portion). etc. (vi) M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.50 mm graded stone aggregate, mixed with WPC @ 2% by wt. of cement, as sub base, 75mm thick. (WPC will be measured and paid separately.) on top (vii) M&L for plastering in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick with water proofing compound at the rate of 2% by weight of cement and finishing the surface seven and fair.(WPC will be measured and paid seperately) (contd....)(contd....) Note :- Above includes (a) Test again of water tightness by pounding for 72 hours & rectify defects if any till total elimination of defect. (b) The sunken portion shall be tested for leakage / seepage / dampness by pounding with water for 72 hours. In case any defect is noticed the portion shall be grouted with cement slurry mixed with suitable chemical & tested again. The process of grouting and testing shall be repeated till leakage / seepage / dampness is eliminated. (c) Horizontal flat area to be measered.

M&L reinforced cement concrete (nominal mix) 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, shelves and the like. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work, not exc 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete.

M&L for formwork to edges of concrete flats, roofs, floors etc not exc 20cm wide and sides of RCC/PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work exc 10cm but not exc 20cm wide for rough finished surfaces.

Demolition and breaking up 150mm bore drain pipes, salt glazed stone ware or reinforced concrete, set in cement mortar including PCC haunching and bedding, complete.

Material and labour PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in bedding to drain pipes, including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete for 150 mm bore pipe all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling old existing abandoned existing manholes any depth with debris and making good with earth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Flush pointing in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement to bricks laid flat or brick tiles in roofs etc all as specified.

M&L for cutting to existing bitumionous road for laying RCC hume pipe/sewage line and making good as per road specification complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for 75mm thick steel fibre reinforced (SFRC) man hole cover with iron frames (medium) complying to the standard specifications as mentioned in the IS 12592 BIS Standard, minimum load bearing capacity 5 ton/sqm, in square, rectangular or circular shape complete all as specified & as directed.

Surface dressing n.exc 15cm deep including Cleaning away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brush wood under growth and roots for making approach and around septic tanks, soakwells, manholes to manholes for sewage line and removing the rubbish to a distance not exceeding 50 M and deposting as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Desludging of manholes of depth upto 1.5 m by taking out sludge , sludge clay and any other rubbish, by manual/mechnical means using honey sucker machine ,suction motor mounted on vehicle, HCV mounted suction discharge machine having blow back facility with sludge tank of adequate capacity or by any other means and removing ouside MD land in closed contained and dumping in low lying area as directed by EIC, washing the top of manholes and surrounding with fresh water and sprinkling fresh unslaked lime to make the area hygeinic complete all as specified and directed by EIC. Notes:- 1. Volume of sludge after dewatering shall only be measured for the purpose of payment to Contractor. 2. Depth of sludge in the pit shall be measured from bottom of pit to the existing water/affluent level prior to ordering the cleaning in the presence of EIC. 3.Desludging shall be done by method as recommended by Engr-in-charge as per the site conditions.

Cleaning of septic tank/sump of any capacity or description including cleaning and pumping out fluid, cleaning of sludge from compartment of septic tank including intercepting chamber & washing down with water complete and removing the sludge in covered van/trolley out side the MoD land, complete, all as directed.

Cleaning and rodding the blocked sewage line of 150 mm dia and depth upto 1.5 m by rodding, well flushing using adequate water between successive manholes in suitable lengths by blocking the first and last manholes of sewage line and making it clear till the smooth flow of sewage line(manhole to manhole or Gully Trap to Manhole) including desludging the manholes on both ends and cleaning the line by manual or mechanical means as directed by Engr-in-Charge and removing the sludge/sewage & other deposits obtained from line cleaning out side of MoD land in covered van/trolleyfrom site including resetting the manhole cover including taking precautionary and safety measures and making the area neat and clean complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Desludging and dewatering of Manholes for the line under cleaning to be measured and paid for separately under respective items of the BOQ as per the depth of manholes.

(ii) The cubical box shall be fix inside (concealed) the existing wall by necessary cutting/grouting the wall and make good the disturbed surfaces by applying cement plaster and white wash to match the surface of wall. (iii) S&F of MCB's/DB's with taking down of the same shall be measured and paid seperately.

M & L for dry sand cushioning to PVC under ground cable with screened and washed sand and punning to provide a required cover complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness after punning shall be considered for payment.
