CERTAIN RRS WORK AND REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF BITUMEN SURFACE OF RUNWAY IN TECH AREA AT AF STN MAHARAJPUR

M&L for 100 mm thick (consolidated thickness) dense asphaltic concrete laid in two layers (each layer 50mm thick) rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with binder content min 6% by weight of total mix and coarse aggregates ( grading -II) including filler as specified using VG-30 complete all as specified and directed. Note:- In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per Job mix formula nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rates are deemed to include for the same. Being oprational Requirements :- (i) The above Job/items of scope to be carryed out / quoted by only agency/contractor who is the owner of hot mix plant as per Air HQ direction. (ii) The contractor shall be ready to execute of above items at any time (day/night), any point and location of Air force campus Maharajpur. On Emergency call, nothing extra shall be payble on this account. (iii) The above mentioned entire scope of work shall be carryied out in a short notice at any time (day/night) and to be completed within maximum 10 hrs from the time task as intimated to contractor on demand of Users. (iv) The contractor should have own T&P and min 20 to 25 labours as required to complete the above task & arrange on ground within 1 hour after the gohead from department with all working condition as decided by Users. (v) A owner ship certificate is mandatory to submit at the time of quoting of tender. (vi) If contractor fail to complete the task within above mentioned time, penality will be recoverd @ Rs 5,000.00 per hours from his dues.

M&L for preparation of black top bituminous surface by scraping & cleaning of all dust, loose particles etc from surface by brushing/brooming and cleaning down by air compressor and applying of polymer modified bituminous emulsion @ 7.5kg (+/-10%) per 10Sqm (undiluted) in two coats. In first coat, 60 to 70% material shall be used and after 4 to 6hrs applying second coat, 30 to 40% material shall be used. The work will be carried out by mechanical sprayer through manufacturer's applicators or authorized applicators complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. M&L for excavation over areas not exceeding 1.5 M deep and getting out hard dense soil/concrete/bituminous surface clearing/shaping of crater including filling of approved earth as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for removing excavated material exc 1.5KM but n.exc 5 KM and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Returning, Filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm including filling of approved earth as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Labour only for screening the old stone boulders/demolished PQC slab material of size 150mm to 200mm from defence area and collecting the same at a distance from 8-10km and laid/stacking these material in layers n.exc 300mm thick near runway including ramming, rolling and consolidating using appropriate & approachable roller of suitable capacity to achieve compacted and levelled surface as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for filling the crater with 200mm compacted thickness of GSB for kankar or laterite, spreading, rolling and consolidated to specified gradient and camber as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 150mm Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) of approved quality complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud/rubber tyre deposits etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 10Kg/10Sqm using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for two layer of dense bituminous mecadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (Consolidated thickness 75mm) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
