M&L for Dismantling structural steel work including hangar doors, gates, framed truss, etc complete all as specified and as directed Notes:- (i) Removing/Dismantling of Hanger doors shall be done in such a way that the rest of Hangar structure and flooring/ dispersal shall be intact and safe. Any of the disturbance/ deformity occured in Hangar structure and flooring shall be contractor's liability and contractor will have to make it good without any extra cost. (ii) Suitable support and scaffolding etc to the framed truss & structure to be provided during the work.
M&L for Roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including Hanger door stoppers with distance pieces, plates, cleats etc complete all as specified and as directed
M&L for dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness in Hangar doors, wall cladding, roofing or from any position all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for Pre painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ wall cladding or in any position of Hangar, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) The GI sheets shall be fixed in such a way to match the existing sheets profile, so that there is no leakage/ seepage issues occured. (ii) The framed truss shall be sealed in such a way to restrict any kind of bird menace through truss structure.
M&L for Designing, fabrication, supplying, installation/erection, testing and commissioning of 06 Nos of factory fabricated motorized sliding steel Hangar door leafs arrangements, (2 x 03 Nos door leafs, Bi-parting) where 03 door leafs sliding on either side horizontally, having interlocking arrangements and overlapping with each other to cover the desired clear opening of approximate width 51.40m and height 12.5m, each door leaf of appropriate size of width and height of 8.60m x 12.50m (approx) respectively with one coat of red oxide zinc chrome/ Epoxy primer with two coats of Epoxy anti corrosive paint over 10cm width and girth on all steel members of Doors, providing pre painted 0.5mm thickness galvalume aluminum zinc coated GI based corrugated steel sheets of approved colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa at outer facia of hangar door leafs including fixing the top & bottom wheels with the top & bottom assembly all as specified in designed drawings and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Note: The unit rates quoted is deemed to be included the following specifications and the parameters given below:- (i) The contractor will get the design and drawing of hanger doors approved and vetted by one of the IIT/Govt Engineering College within 45 days from the date of commencement for approval of GE. Further the contractor will carry out the hangar doors work based on the drawings and design approved and vetted by one of the IIT/ Govt Engineering College. (ii) The work shall be executed by the contractor through the specialist Hangar door firms having the minimum experience of 05 years in executing similar nature of works in last 10 years, and the firm shall be approved by the GE. Memorundum of understanding (MOU) in between both the parties alongwith 05 years experience certificate shall be submitted by the contractor prior to execute the work.
(iii) The motorized hangar door shall be designed and installed to suite the on site dimensions of Hangar doors, requirements of the existing hangar, clear opening of hangar, No of existing leafs, sliding pattern, over head clearance, opening and in line with required interlocking & overlaping arrangements with each other. (iv) The doors shutter frame shall be fabricated with suitable structural steel members consisting of channels (ISMC) confirming to IS; 808 & 2062. The door shutter shall be stiffeneed by providing suitable structural steel members consisting of channels / angles (ISMC / ISA) confirming to IS; 808 & 2062, fixed vertically and diagonally as designed drawings. (v) The doors shall be designed & installed with suitable number of wheel assemblies confirming to IS; 3177 consisting of forged and machined wheels with permanently lubricated sealed type bearings, axiles/ shafts, breakers, grease nipples, removable cover plates and necessary IRS rail / bright bar square rail laid alongwith suitable embedment arrangement (ISMB / ISMC) to maintain the uniform level throught the length of rail as required and completely covered the clear opening from all around.
(vi) Hangar door shall be provided with necessary top & bottm guided rails and connected assembly included stoppers are to be provided and designed in such a way to restrict the lateral movement of hangar doors in case of derailment and tilting of any door leafs. (vii) The doors shall be provided with suitable jacking arrangement for repair/ replacement of wheels as and when required. Neoprene rubber pads shall be provided for mechanical stoppers to prevent metal to metal contact. The door shall be provided with suitable bolting/ locking arrangement as required and directed. (viii) The dimensions given above are tentative and bidder / tenderer shall visit the existing site before quoting the rates and further the Hangar door shall also to be designed as per the existing dimensions and existing site requirements.
(ix) The Hangar doors shall be designed to withstand minximum forces for wind load, as per seismic zone and cyclone intensity of Vasco-da-Gama, Goa Area. (x) The doors shall be provided with a wicket gate of size 1.0 X 2.1 m. The wicket gate shall be provided with all necessary handware fixtures, locking arrangement etc to ensure smooth movement of doors during sliding operation as required and complete.The doors shall be provided with necessary alround neoprene gasket sealing to make the system airtight in closed condition. (xi) The motorized Hangar doors shall be designed and fitted in such a way that doors can be operated manually too in case of power failure. (xii) The electrically operated motorized drive system along with all connected accessories shall be measured and paid seperatly in Item No. 06 below.
Note:- (The unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for the following) (i) Cost of all connected copper armored cable, sub main wiring of required size, length including MCBs etc. (ii) The doors shall be provided with necessary drive mechanism consisting of suitable capacity 3 phase electrical motor, gearbox, couplings, shaft, limit switches, stoppers, control panels etc. The control panels shall consist of open, close push buttons and emergency stop push button etc as required and complete along with remote operation. The drive unit shall be suitably designed to achive a uniform movement of doors at a speed of 3 + 1 m /min. (iii) The control panels shall be located at suitable location as directed by Engr-in-Charge and the door shall have provision for manual operation in case of power failure. (iv) All the connected EM items will be measured and paid under this item only, no extra cost will be paid.
M&L for demolition of reinforced/ unreinforced cement concrete in ground floor, below ground and pavings exceeding 15 cm thickness and demolition procedure be like cutting out of full depth of existing damaged/ shattered concrete slab upto 400mm or as per the design approved in Item Ser No 05 above including removal of debris to a distance exceeding 1.0 Km and not exceeding 5 Km complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (The unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for the following) (i) The RCC/ PCC pavement shall cut with diamond wheel cutter to provide a pressure relief cut within the patch area prior to boundary sawing in proper rectangular, square or triangular shape without disturbing adjacent slab. (ii) Any deformity/ disturbance I in adjacent slabs during demolition process shall be make good without any extra cost to match with the existing surface complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.
M&L for provision of RCC foundation having flexural strength 45 Kg/Sqcm using minimum 400 Kg of cement/Cum as per design mix including mixing of non circular synthetic polyester fibre reinforcement @ 1Kg/cum all as per design mix, laid and finished in narrow width to match with the existing surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Notes: (The unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for the following) (i) The contractor will get the foundation designed for hangar door and get it approved and vetted by one of the IIT/ Govt Engineering College. (ii) Supply of non circular synthetic polyester fiber as secondary reinforcement and supply of bottom track/ rail shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) All joints shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) In the event of increase in cement content as per design mix, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rates are deemed to be included for the same. (v) Finishing including brooming shall be carried out strictly as per instructions laid down by manufacturer. (vi) The finishes of top surface shall be matched with existing surface /floor/dispersal and proper slope shall be maintained with existing.
Supply only non circular synthetic polyester fiber reinforcement all as manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for forming dummy/ contraction joints 100mm deep and 8mm to 10mm wide at spacing not more than 4m c/c in concrete pavement and sealing the joints with polyurethene based sealant Seal N flex FC (grey colour) over a coat of N49 primer including bond breaker caulked tightly into the base of sealing groove complete all as per manufactures instructions up to 15mm deep and 8mm thick over 12mm dia polythene rod over 70mm depth bituminous filler board after priming the concrete sides with two coats of primer shall be applied with a thin brush by the forward and backward movement before pouring the sealant with primer of same make complete all as specified and as directed
Notes: (The unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for following) (i) Edges of joints shall be rounded up by mechanical means at the time of final cutting. (ii) Initial cutting shall be carried out within 24-36 hours of casting. (iii) Final cutting, rounding of edges, use and waste of back up rod to avoid deposition of foregion materials in the joint upto final filling of joints shall be carried out after 28 days (iv) Provision of masking tape on the edges of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required.
M&L for preparing new surfaces of iron and steel applying one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and two coats of Epoxy anti-corrosive paint over 10 cm width or girth complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, beams and foundation, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips.
