Taking out defective cable XLPE/PVC sheathed 1100 volt grade heavy duty armoured with aluminium conductor of any size from trenches, wall/poles/under floor etc, shifting serviceable cable for relaying or removing the unserviceable cable and taken as credit complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately (ii) The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall include the removal of brick/tile as cable protection, GI pipe and cable joint etc. and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (iii) After taking out the cables from the trench, serviceability of cable shall be checked by the contractor in presence of the Engr-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
