REPAIR/MAINTENANCE/CLEANING OF RAW WATER TANKS NO 03 AND 04 UNDER GE(U)

Amount

Pumping / bailing out stagnated water from Raw water storage tank by using pumping sets and throwing the same 50 mtrs away from the outer edge of the tank complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Contactor will provide blank flange with nut and bolts, rubber sheet etc of suitable size to stop the leakage of the water. No extra payment will be admissible to the contractor on this account. Note :- (a)Electric supply for operating the pump set will be provided by the dept free of cost. (b)T&P,pumpsets,pipes,starter,cables etc required for pumping out sludge is deemed to be inclusive of the quoted rates.

Removing mud / slit and all foreign materials from tank mentioned at S.No 1 cleaning of bottom and side slope walls by bromming and getting out complete waste material silt to a distance exceeding 50 mtr but not exceeding 100 mtr from outer edge of tank and depositing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) Rates deemed to be inclusive for the following items:- (a) The silt shall be removed by using mechanical machinery such as light tractor / JCB. (b) Cutting and cleaning of grass, bushes etc from side walls and bottom. (c) Breakage / Damaged to floor / side wall of raw water tank shall be made good with bricks / PCC work / plaster / pointing work all as original complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(d)T&P,pumpsets,pipes,starter,cables etc required for pumping out sludge is deemed to be inclusive of the quoted rates.

Cutting /cleaning away all grass ,bushes ,under growth small tree upto 10 cm grith and their roots ,hedges ,vegetarian ,branches of trees etc at installation of water supply upto entire satisfaction of Engineer- in -Charge and disposing the same at a distance upto 50 metre away from the prephery area under clearance complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer- in - Charge. Note :- Contractor shall cut all tree branches hanging over the raw water tank. No extra payment for cutting the branches of trees will be admissible to the contractor on this account.

Dewatering/bailing out muddy staganated water manually or with the help of non clogging pumping set from Jack Well at new raw water Pump house and at raw water pump house of filtration plant No 4 Removing silt from Sludge tank manually by bucket and rope depth 4.0 mtr but not exe 6 mtr and depositing where directed by Eng-in- Charge at a distance exe 50 mtr away from outer wall of installation.Cutting existing bushes/herbs/unwanted plants, Scrapping out silt, alge etc from side walls and floor by washing, cleaning the same with steel wire brush ,brooming etc and washing the side walls with bleaching powder solution and washing again with clear water after washing with bleaching powder to entire satisfaction complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge Note : Contractor should provide all necessary arrangements such as Non clog Pump,ladder etc and will make good to disturbed surface no extra cost will be paid on this account.

Repair replacement of floating arm including relacement of drum berrel , Floating arm/bend,chain,clamps,nuts,bolts etc complete as specified and directed.

Repairs to brick lining of side slope walls of RWT ,including ,replacing the broken /damaged bricks with new bricks ncluding necessary earth work and pcc works using 20mm graded aggregate etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for prepration of old steel surface of size appx 1.2mtr x 1.0 mtr applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint and for writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) on it but n.exc 10 Cm height with synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge.

Cutting down trees, felling of trees exc 30 cm girth including cutting of trunk,and branches and stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable material to a distance n exc 50 mtr and clearing site as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Interconnection of RWT No 05 and RWT No 04 by excavation and laying 600mm dia pipeline (approx at 4mtr depth)using mechanical excavater /JCB ,Tractor etc , 600 mm dia pipe (approx lengh 45 mtrs)after cutting the existing PCC path and enclined wall of RWT at suitable point as directed by Engr-in charge, inserting CI Special fittings and laying the pipe and providing suitable control valves complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) CI specials ,excavation and earth work and sluice valve etc will be measured and paid seperately. (ii) Pipeline of 600mm dia will be provided by Department and transportation for the same will be arranged by contractor.

Supply and fixing in replacement 600mm dia sluice valve, ISI Marked PN 1.0 confirming to IS-14846-2000, both end flanged, drilled, SS spindle and iron wheel handle, CI gate with brass ring complete including jointing material such as nuts, bolts, washers and rubber sheet etc all directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying & fixing CI special fitting in replacement of any size type, radius, angle, tapers, increasing, decreasing sockets, tees, tail pieces and collars etc complete above 150mm.Note: Excavation earth work and joints shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ

Excavation in trenches n exc. 1.5 mtr wide and n. exc. 1.5 mtrs deep for pipe line and getting out all as specified by Engr-In-Charge

Excavation in trenches n exc. 1.5 mtr wide and n. exc.(above 1.5 mtrs and n. exc. 3 mtrs ) deep for pipe line and getting out all as specified by Engr-In-Charge

Returning , filling in including spreading , levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick all as specified.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified .

M&L for Construction of Valve pit chamber on 150mm thick 1:3:6 PCC base having dimension 250x250x400 cm with 65X65X6 mm MS angle frame collar grouted in 100 mm tick 1:2:4 PCC layer On top surface of brick masonry CM (1:4), in side outside plastering(upto 15Cm below GL) with CM(1:4) complete , 65X65X6 MS angle framing top cover of 4.00mm thick MS black sheet with 2 diagonals of MS flat and fabricated with 4 Nos heavy duty hinge and 4 nos D-shape handles of suitable dimension including two coats of synthetic enemal paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer on external & internal steel surfaces and two coat of black bituminous paint on hidden steel surfaces including necessary excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section embeded in conc, bk wk, etc, incl taking out embeded portion and making good disturbed ground, complete all as specified

Dismantling barbed wire fencing , any type all as specified and directed.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each n.exc 0.5 Cum getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers n.exc 25 cm thick, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and making good surfaces in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using (40 mm broken aggregate) as in boundry pillars, posts (including caps and bases)complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel work as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops in shape as directed drilling holes, notching for wire etc. etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F galvanised, 2 strands, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolt including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire staples or steel pins etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for two coats of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces or surface of any description over one coat of red oxide over 10 cm in width or girth not otherwise described including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only mild steel galvanised chain link fencing of mesh size 100 x 100mm and dia of wire as 10 gauge etc complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc including provission of binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut,n exc 5cm long and dia of Neck 11-15mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Mild steel round bars of 10mm dia and above etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Preparation of new steel and iron surface of any description and applying 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide prime Surfaces of any description, n.exc 10cm in width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint complete all as specified.

NOTE:- Old retrieved material during execution of work shall deposited to AGE EM (W/S) store yard and should maintain the recored for the same .
