Excavation in trenches n. exc 1.5 m wide for foundations, laying cables/ pipes etc. not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in SOFT/LOOSE soil complete, all as specified

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete, all as specified.

Removing excavated spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete, all as specified.

Clean dry sand ( locally available) as cushioning for under ground cable 230 mm thick (one layer of 80 mm thickness before laying the cable and other layer of 150 mm thickness after laying the cable) complete all as specified. NOTE:- Punned down thickness (over all 180 mm) shall be considered for measurement and payment.

Brick protection with old size sub class 'B' bricks laid flat across the route of underground cable all as specified and directed

PCC type D-2 (1:4:8), using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in filling & foundation of pole, mass concrete, complete all as specified.

PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as coping of poles etc. with slightly rounded or chamfered angles including necessary form work with fair finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified.

Demolition of un-reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided all as specified.

Boring holes under road pavement / hardstanding by manual / trenchless technology using ultrasound technique and necessary machine for inserting & including 80-100 mm bore HDPE pipe complete, all as specified.

GI pipe 40mm light grade with all fittings fixed as termination postal ,fixed to poles/ walls/ under floors/ under road/ trenches etc complete all as specified

Taking down unserviceable LED Lights and removing Carbon from its connector joints incl replacement of Connecting wire with new PVC sheated weatherproof twin core cable for electrical connection and refixing the fitting after repair to its original/ New location or as directed by Engg-in-Charge (Rate of wire will be measured and paid seperately only)

SMC Juction/ terminal box of size with internal dimensions of 300 x 200 x 1055 mm with hinged door, 415 Volts, having 4 Nos, aluminium bus bar of 63 Amps rating with colour code made out of polycarbonate or bakelite and 1 No MCB of 6 Amps with DIN bar, drilling hole for cable connections, connecting incoming and or outgoing cables by providing suitable of size of cable lugs/ glands, fixed on pole by means of clamps made out of MS flat iron of size 25mm x 3mm 2 set, IN REPLACEMENT, complete all as specified and directed.

Anti climbing devices comprising 2.24 mm dia galvanised steel 2- strand barbed wire with 2.00mm dia barbs wrapped spirally round poles to a length of 0.5 to 1.00 meter clamped and properly secured or complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of LT steel poles 9 m long and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint with black and white or yellow colour in strips 30cm each upto 1.5m height from top of PCC foundation block and the remaining surface with one coat cement base paint including numbering of poles with synthetic enamel paint white in 80mm high letter over 150mm x 230mm yellow base complete all as specified & directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of street light poles 3 m long and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint with black and white or yellow colour in strips 30cm each upto 1.5m height from top of PCC foundation block and the remaining surface with one coat cement base paint including numbering of poles with synthetic enamel paint white in 80mm high letter over 150mm x 230mm yellow base complete all as specified & directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

Cutting/ trimming of tree branches 3 metre on either sides of HT/ LT overhead lines mounted on PCC/ steel poles and clearing the site by throwing the tree branches & leaves etc. upto 100 metre away complete all as directed.

Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specified, IN REPLACEMENT, with & including the following: -

Copper strip of size 20mm x3mm.

GI strip of size 25mm x4mm.

Aluminium strip of size 25mm x3.15mm.

Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long IN REPLACEMENT, complete all as specified.

Air termination, single pointed copper rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long IN REPLACEMENT, complete all as specified.

Earthing results testing for any type of Earthing such as GI Plate/ Copper plate/ Chemical/ Bore Earthing connected with and for HT Panel, LT Panel, Equipment, Lightening arresters, DG sets, Transformers etc in any position and any place at AF Darbhanga using calibrated Digital Earth megger and chekcing E-N voltage at maint DBs and register the result as per proforma provided in Earth Test Register duly signed by User Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Maintenance/ enhancement of earthing quality of existing earthing complete with necessary excavation and earth work, complete for chemical treatment of existing earth electrode with Benzonite Powder solution (2 x25Kg in each bag) sorrounding the earth plate to get the earth resistance less than 2 ohm, including pouring of salt water as required minor repair for jointing/ welding as required including testing of earth pit submission of test result duly signed by user rep complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthing with and including copper earth plate electrode 3.15 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 4.70 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 3.60 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including copper strip 20x3 mm as earthing lead by means of tinned copper/ brass bolts/ nuts/ checknuts/ washers beside brazing at all joints all as directed and connected to earth test point all as specified and testing on completion with and including necessary protected by 15 mm bore GI light grade pipe. Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layer of charcoal or coke and common salt 15 cm thick all around bottom and top. 20 mm bore GI light grade pipe for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC cover, reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 75 mm C/C both ways with mild steel handle 12 mm dia, using round bar, PGI funnel with wire mess & frame, PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in earthing pit including necessary excavation & earth work, all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part – I. IN REPLACEMENT, complete all as specified. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) The unit rate includes earthing lead & protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate. (iii) Earth resstance shall be less than 2 ohm. In case the test results are not found less than 3 ohm, complete earthing shall be redone by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.
