Note: 1. Detailed fabrication and erection drawings & launching methodology will be prepared by the contractor and got approved from Railway. 2. The rate is all inclusive including launching in position, complete in all respect except cost of (i) Painting / Metalising; (ii) Bearings & (iii) HSFG bolts which shall be paid extra under relevant item. 3. Supplying, fabrication, testing and welding with stud guns etc. of normal headed/round studs shear connectors 25mm dia and 200mm length conforming to IS 3935-66 as per specifications of relevant RDSO drawings B11753, 52, 51 & RDSO-B- 11757-1 alongwith ferrules on top flange of girder for deck slabs, as per the direction/approval of Engineer in charge. In case shear connectors/studs of other sizes are required than payment/recovery on prorata basis of weight shall be made. Sand blasting and metaliing the Sqm bridge components with aluminium wires as per IRS BI-2001 including one coat of primer of IS:104 and one coat of aluminium paint of IS 2329. During blasting the surface shall be thoroughly cleaned & roughened by compressed air with suitable abrasive material and grade of blasting shall be confirming to IS: 9954. Before spraying the surface shall be made free from grease, scale, rust, moisture or other foriegn materials. The sparying shall be carried out as per IS:6568. The chemical composition of aluminium sprayed shall be 99.5% aluminium confirming to IS 2590. The surface of the coating shall be of uniform texture and free from lumps coarse areas and loosely adherent particles. The nominal thickness of spread metalising shall be 150 micron. All the paints and aluminium wire to be tested from approved laboratory with contractors.

Providing sacrificial shuttering for MT deck slab made up of galvanised Cold Roled Cold Annealed (CRCA) steel of 310 MPA Grade with all contractor's material, labour erection, fixing, welding etc. complete with all lead & lift and all safety precautions. Insertion/ Removal of RH girder with MT the help of contractor's road crane atdesired location including all preparatory worksduring traffic block/ power block with all contractors labour, plants, tools, equipments etc complete. The weight of reliving girder for payment purpose shall include weight of girder proper rails, bracings and associated fittings like cleats, bolts etc only. the unloading of RH girder from Railway BFr will be paid through a seperate item ifunloading operationis done seperately inadvance other thanmain block. The rateof item includes. A)For insertion:- All preparatory works connected with insertion of RH girder like removal of track panel forrequired length bycontracor's road crane removable ofballast and stackingit at nominated location, excavation of bank to required depth as per Railway's approved drawing C.Rly DRGNo. GM (W)BB/1176 &/ DrgNo> GM(W)BB/6400,preparation o f base for RH girder and linking of track on RH girder and its approaches including one round packing to satisfaction of Engineer In chargefor making track fit for 20 kmph speed.The bolts and clamps for Rh girder assembly will however be supplied by the railway. b) All works connected with removal of Rh girder from track like dismantling of track over RH girder, removal of RH girder and keeping it at nominated place, removal of CC cribsand wooden blocks filling of the bank over box with Rly' sexcavated earth duly compacting the same, spreading of ballast and linking of track duly giving one round of packing to make track fit for 20 kmph speed ( Use of coarse ground material sand/ quarry dust /murum if so desired by Railway Engineering case of excavated material being clayey soil/ BC soil etc. will be paideatra by operating seperate item for supply. Note: a) Insertion and removal of RH girder will be treated as a separate job and will be paid accordingly. b) Transportation of Rh girder to and from work site including unloading at site will be paid sepserately under relevant transportation items. c) The capacity of crane and its operation schedule should be so as to cause least interference to traffic. d) The unloading of Rh girder from BFR when undertaken in block other than main block, it will be paid through USSOR item no 041200, other wise it will bedeemed to be included in the mainitem. Note: 1. The rate includes all items of work/supplies for complete job in all respects except "cost of Reinforced cement concrete, cement, reinforcement & shuttering" of (i) main RCC Box; (ii) Thrust Bed; (iii) Footpath (iv) Parapet wall and (v) wearing Course only, which shall be paid extra under relevant items of USSOR. 2. In case Drag Sheet and/or Rail Cluster are to be used as per approved scheme and design, the same shall be paid extra under relevant item. 3. The payment for this item shall be made for the clear inner cross section area of the parent RCC Box/Boxes and barrel length i.e. clear inner volume of parent RCC Box/Boxes. Providing & laying non pressure NP-4 Class RCC pipe with collars, jointing with 1:2 cement and ordinary sand mortar including testing of joints, but excluding earthwork with all labour and material as a complete job. Cement for mortar will be paid separately.(Pipes of 600mm dia and above will be laid using crane/hydra).
