Cutting and disposal of earth work in by mechanical in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soils including, dewatering wherever required, setting of to the required lines, levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer -in-charge at site., according to the HP.PWD. specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful and unuseful material and transportation of the unuseful material for disposing at dumping site as per satisfaction of Engineer- in -charge through all modes of transportation including head load ,animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, machineries, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour ( if required ). The recovery for stones, whether use full or not for 42.96cum (Forty two point nine six cubic metre) @ 300/-only(Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected on prorata basis in all circumstances. All the surplus excavated earth to be dumped at dumping site(dumping sites will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost). Any loss to the public and private propriety, human being, machinery during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidental charges.
Earth work in excavation for structure in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring abd bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where balsting is prohibited) all earth work in cutting/ excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width , camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. All the surplus excavated earth to be dumped at dumping site(dumping sites will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost).Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him at his on cost in all cases. including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.(i)1:3:6 (One Cement : three coarse sand) : six graded stone aggregate 20 mm (twenty milimetre) nominal size).
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i) 1:2:4 (One cement : two coarse sand) : four graded stone aggregate 20 mm(twenty milimetre) nominal size)
Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of stone masonry, including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lift and lead of 1000 m(One thousand metre) as per Technical Specification Clause 202m(two hundred two metre) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Dismantling of cement concrete pavements by mechanical means using pneumatic tools breaking to pieces not exceeding 0.02 cum(zero point zero two cubic metre) in volume and stock piling at designated locations and disposal of dismantled materials upto a lead of 1000m,(One thousand metre) stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and Fixing Single "W" Metal beam crash barrier comprishing of cold formed W profiled section having thickness of 3 mm (three milimetre)(uncoated thickness ) with frame width of 311 mm(three hundred eleven milimetre) depth 83 mm (eighty three milimetre)and length 4318 mm(four thousand three hundred eighteen milimetre) (made of ISI marked HR coil conforming to IS : 5986/2011) , to be fixed on cold formed channel section post of size 150x75x5 mm (One hundred fifty into seventy five into five milimetre)( Made from ISI marked Hr Coils conforming to IS 5986/2011) spaced 1.50 metre(one point five zero metre) centre to centre of the post which will be of total height of 1.80 metre(One point eight zero metre) with its height of 1.1 metre(One point one metre) below ground level and 0.70 metre(zero point seven zero metre) above ground level. Metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with spacer channel of cold formed channel section size 150x75x5 mm and 330 mm(One hundred fifty into seventy five into five milimetre) and (three hundred thirty milimetre) long (made from ISI Marked HR coils conforming to IS : 5986/2011 ) , All the above components shall - conform to clause 810 of MORTH & H specifications including all fittings required for erection on road side W-Beams, Posts , Spacers shall be hot dip galvanised with Zinc coating of 550 gm/Sqm(five hundred fifty gramt/swquare metre). All bolts , nuts and washers shall be hot dip galvanised to IS :1367 pt-XIII/1983 ( Reaffirmed 2011 ) for bolts and IS 14394/1996 (reaffirmed 2011 ) for nuts including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in- charge.
Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work including cutting hoisting fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) In gratings, framed guards bars ladders, railing, brackets and similar work.
Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.(i)Mild steel and Medium Tensile steel bars
Providing weapholes in brick masonry / stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm(One hundred milimetre) dia PVC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slop of 1(v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per specification clause 1204.3.8 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) Granular material.
