Balance work of Tikkari to Kiterwari (Portion Larot to Chanshal ) km 11/00 to 30/00

Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all height and depths,in all kind of soil including saturated soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil,ordinary rock and hard rock.All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion,damage to hill side,water pollition,etc.and to protect stability of hill side.Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited).All earth work in cutting/excavation,including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines,grade,side slopes,width,camber,super-elevation and level as shown on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge,in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road,August,2004 and clause 16.2 of General Conditions for contract to achive designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner,trimming,filling of unevenness,blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding.The recovery of useful stone that is 4487.92 cum.( cubic Metre) in all cases,failing which recovery @ Rupees 170/= only(Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro rata basis.Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor,which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in hilly area by Mechanical means i/c cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.50 m and leads upto 20m as per technical specification clause 1603.1

Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg each as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301 including hauling of materials in all leads,lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer- in- charge.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated P.C.C. M-10 nominal mix 1:3:6 (one cement : three sand: six graded stone aggregate 40mm forty millimeter) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7

Providing and laying filter media with granular crushed aggregate as per specification to a thickness of not less than 600 mm. (Six hundred millimeters) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and providing over the entire surface behind abutment wing wall return walls, to the full height compacted of firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification rural roads August 2004 (Two thousand Four),clause 1204.3.8 (One thousand Two hundred Four point three point four) including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in- Charge

Providing and laying plain cement concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated PCC M-15 nominal mix 1:2.5:5 {(one cement: two and half sand: five graded hard stone aggregate 40 mm.(twenty millimeter) nominal size for plain concrete in foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling of in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 900mm dia for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets Clause 1106. Including the cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from burrow pits with all lifts and lead transporting to site spreading garding to required slope and compacted to meet reqiurement of table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per technical specs. clause 303.1 Including the cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
