Designing and Construction of Pump room with duty staff room in single storey construction with permanent specification for 47 sqm Plinth area with RCC -25 design mix including excavation in all types of strata, foundation concrete, footings, plinth beam, Col, lintel, roof beam, roof slab, Solid Block walling, internal & External plastering, finishing, Roof Treatment, Anti termite treatment, Rolling Shutter, Pressed steel door frame, flush shutter, glazed skelton door shutter, fly proof Box type steel window, PVC door, Wall & floor tiles, sanitary fittings & taps in toilets, plinth protection excluding internal water supply and Internal Electrification and all soil waste pipe up to first manhole complete including refilling of earth and disposal of surplus earth within 500 m lead etc complete all as specified and as directed
SCHEDULE 'A' PART X -STANDBY DG SET
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 100 KVA (The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant lSI standard), silent Diesel engine Generating Set, 415 volts, 3 phase, 0.8 Power factor, 50 Hz, 4 wire system as per IS 10001/10002 comprising of Koel 100 KVA or equivalent, developing suitably derated of Minimum BHP @ 1500 RPM, Liquid Cooled, electric start coupled to alternator as per IS 13364 mounted on a common base frame with standard control panel for automatic starting on main control panel having meters, sound proof canopy, integral fuel tank with battery and leads and accessories complete in all respect with emission control device to control the PM within range as prescribed by NGT/ norms of CPCB and CPCB approved acoustic enclosure suitable for ambient condition at Wellington including required PCC foundation as per manufacturers specification and confrrming to conditions under IS 10004722/1460 BS IV 5514/2613/ 5000 ISO 8526/3046 with following provisions:-
(A) Alternator :- Standard design alternator rated at 100 KV A net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3 - phase 4 - wire 415 volts 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self exicited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with widing in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of ± 1 % at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be confirming to BS 2613/5000 and shall be inposition to generate supply with frequency regulation with in ± 1% tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to BS IV - 2613/50001 IS - 4722 and as per the following provisions:- Make:- KIRLOSKAR/JYOTI / STAMFORD/CATERPILLAR a) Insualation class - 'H' (b) Temparature rise Class - 'H' (c) Excitation: Self Excited (d) Regulation performance: The voltage is kept constant with ± 1 %, manual voltage adjustment within ± 5% (e) Frequency regulation ± 1 % (f) UG cable of suitable size from Alternator to AMP is deemed to be include in quoted rate. (g) Antivibration Pads
(B) Diesel Engine: - Adquate capacity Diesel engine suitably derated of matching BHP for 100 KVA coupled drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories, directly coupled through flexible coupling, multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant ISI/BS - 5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:- (a) Fly wheel with housing (b) Cooling system :- Mounted radiator with fan & belts. (c) Cooling pump: - Centrifugal type belt driven. (d) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of suitable dia as per manufacture standard with MS pipe light grade upto and away two meters height from top of enclosure incluing necessary angle iron frame supports from floor to the bottom of exhaust pipe from the enclosure covered with mineral wool of thickness 50mm rapped with chicken wire mesh of size 2.25mm and aluminium sheet of 24 SWG to be complete within the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclosure. (E) Generator Monitoring Panel: Comprising of following:- (a) Microprocessor based integrator generator set monitories, metering, protection and control system with built torque matched volts/H3 over load control. (b) Engine protection for low lub oil pressure, high coolant temperature (alarm & shutdown) (c) Alternator protection parameters like under voltage, over current, under frequency, over frequency ( alarm & shut down) (d) Relay drivers for remote annuciations (e) Cyclic cranking (f) Auto/manual start stop (g) Alternator trim adjustment from the front key pad (h) Operates within a temperature range 0- 50°C and humidity upto 95% (j) Remote monitoring capabilty through separate interface modules (k) Genset metering parameters like lube oil pressure, coolant temperature, engine speed(rpm), run hours, DC voltage, 3 phase volts and 3 phase amperes, frequency, KW, KVA, power factor
(l) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure, high water temparature and over speeding of engine. (m) Coupling arrngement : - Flexible coupling, fly wheel to suit flexiable coupling fly wheel housing. (n) Accessories :-AVM Pads built or separtely mounted to manufacturer base frames. (o) Base Frame: - Made out of ISMC 200 of sturdy design made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement and predetermined holes. (p) Fuel Tank :- Daily service fuel tank of capacity suitable for 12 Hours consumption on full load (Inbuilt) made out of 3mm thick (Heat Retradant) sheet top and bottom with caliberated level indicating arrangement, stop cock, drain plug, fuel pump of suitable capacity and connected pipe line should be installed with in bulit inside the accoustic enclosure is inclusive of the cost of DG Set and is as per manufacturer design (q) Deliverables:- Confirms the norms established by CPCB.
(F) AMF PANEL:- (a) Auto Main Failure (AMF) panel made out of minimum 2 mm thick CRCA sheet, powder coated of conforming to IS 8623 totally enclosed dust and vermin proof with front and rear openings of 415 Volts, 3 Phase,4 Wire, AC 50 Hz having aluminium bus bar capacity required to carry current at 100% load of DG set with three phase and half neutral colour coded, prewired with copper flexible cable, be all as specified with the following accessories, control cable from Gen set to AMF panel:- (i) 4 pole contactor of suitable capacty - 2 Nos. (ii) MCCB, 4 Pole as per OEM design -2 Nos (One for Alternator and one for Commercial Supply) with suitable fuse links. (iv) CTs suitable rating for both the supplies. (v) DC Ammeter. (vi) DC Voltmeter. (vii) Push buttons. (viii) Indication Lamps. (ix) 2 over load+ earth leakage relay. (x) Multi functional digital meter for KWH,KVA,KW,Amps,volts, frequency, power factor etc. (xi) SMPS Battery charger 12V, with trickle & Boost charging (xii) On/ Off switch. (xiii) Automatic/manual switch. (xiv) Hooter. (xv) Voltage sensing relay. (xvi) Six window anunciator for fault indications. (xvii) Electro magnetic relays. (xviii) Metering required in DG set :- A, V, Hz, KVA, KW, PF & KWH & Metering required in mains :- A, V, Hz.
(G) Acoustic enclosure: CPCB approved enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in sheet steel will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom built to suit conditions with the following features:- (a) Custom built product for various equipments, with ensure the optimum performance without duration. (b) Rugged in construction maintenance free and modular designs which facilitate easy at site. (c) 16 SWG (1.6 mm) thick CRCA sheets to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absorption. Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets. (d) Sheet metal components of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against weathering action. (e) Special paint treatment with pure polyester powder/epoxy to be provided for better weather resistance. (f) Well designed ventilation system to be provided to pump up the heat in the chamber efficiently. (g) For effective acoustic / weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets to be used. (h) Working space is to be provided around tbe equipment for easy maintenance / repairs. (j) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exist of fuel lines cable to be incorporated in the enclosure as per the requirement. (k) A see through transparent window (glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel to be provided for monitoring the operation. (l) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinges fasteners etc to be provided. (m) Deliverables. 75 dBA @ imtr at 75% load under free field conditions. The temp inside the enclosure will be within as per manufacturers recommendations above ambient temp. (n) The enclosure should be provided with bulk head light fitting for inside illumination (o) The battaries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable inlsulated platform. (p) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button. (q) The accoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. (r) The powder coating shade should be Genset Green. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade. Make for AMF PANEL: DG SET OEM Make for ACCOUSTIC PANEL: DG SET OEM
(H) Civil Works :- All civil works with PCC plat form and related to foundations including of panel and equipments and making good the existing structrure of disturbed during installtion and commissioning of Genset. The depth of the foundation shall be minimum 300 mm with anti-vibration pads or as recommended by the manufacturer.
Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level with the top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip 32x6 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of GI and GI earth strip protected by 40 mm bore light grade GI pipe,watering arrangement by provision of 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade with cast iron funnel,provision of test point and connected to main control board all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I including necessary earth work and excavation in any type of soil and PCC 1 : 2 : 4 type B - 1 in chamber and 40 mm thick RCC 1 : 2 : 4 type B - 1 cover slab with 6 mm dia mild steel bars at 100 mm centre to centre both ways with 6 mm dia M S hooks complete all as specified and as directed.
SCHEDULE 'A' PART XI -SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANTS
Design, supply, install, test & commissioning of Sewage Treatment Plant having capacity 450 KLD (at Avadi) based on principle of aerobic attached growth non-clogging randomnly Moving Bed Bio-reactor Technology MBBR) with the DESIGN DATA mentioned in Particular Specification as Annexure I or Sequental Batch Reactor (SBR) with the DESIGN DATA mentioned in Particular Specification as Annexure II to Particular Specifications including all civil, pumping, Mechanical and electricals works in accorodance with latest engineering practice complete all as specified and directed.
NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM No 14.01 : i) Tenderer shall go through the design datas given in Annexure I & Annexure II to Particular Specifications and drawings thoroughly before quoting the rates. ii) The quoted rate shall also include the Electrical works like power cabling including LT panels, Automation and control, Mechanical works like Provn of pumps, blowers, Chemical dozers and its cabling, piping work and connected works for pumping of sewage form the collection sump to various stages of STP upto storage of treated water and final treatment of sludge. The cost of all connected works and items for the functioanlity of STP are to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) All the civil works of various chambers/tanks/sumps from Raw sewage collection sump at STP site to treated water sump including Excavation,Disposal of surplus soil, RCC work, Foundation of all E/M equipments etc is deemed to be included in quoted rates.

SCHEDULE 'A' PART XIII (MANNING AND OPERATION OF STP DURING DEFECTS LIABILITY PERIOD)
NOTE FOR ITEM NOS 16.03 to 16.07 below:- (a) The quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following operations:- (i) Preventive and breakdown maintenance of all the equipments by regular oiling, greasing , changing of gland packing , replacement of nuts and bolts etc during the period of work order. (ii) To take care of house keeping and environmental cleanliness, area up to 5m all around installation shall be kept absolutely neat and clean. (iii) To maintain the installations provided under this contract as per IE rules/Standard Engineering practice. (iv) The cost of spare parts to be replaced for operation/maintenance of sewage treatment plant shall be borne by the contractor being the liability of the contractor during the currency of defect liability period as per conditions of the contract.The cost of Spares to be replaced for operation & maintenance of sewage plant shall also be borne by the contractor during Manning & Operation of STP for 2 years (v) Periodical maintenance shall be carried out by the authorized representative of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the plant. (vi) Electricity and water for operation of the plant will be supplied by the Department free of cost. (vii) operation of raw sewage pump, air blowers, fitter feed pump, dual media filter activate cabon filter (if applicable) , dosing system, ultra filtertion system (if applicable)& control panel. (viii) removing of material arrested at bar screen. (ix ) removing of oil floating at surface. (x) change over from one pump to another daily on requirement (xi) change over from one blower to another daily on requirement. (xii) cleaning of air filter of blower regularly on requirement basis. (xiii) Applying grease to all motors blowers periodically including supplying of suitable quality of grease as per site requirement (xiv) draining of sludge from MBBR reactor once in a month to avoid chocking of air grid (xv) removing of sludge from tube settler depending upon the actual load
(xvi) maintaining of log books for records of operation of plants including cost of stationary (xvii) back wash of dual media filter and activate carbon filter weekly (xviii) screening of inlet & outlet mesh box of MBBR reactor weekly (xix) washing of tube media with low pressure jut of raw water required (xx) draining of burnout lubricant oil and refilling of appropriate lubricant oil in air blower after 200-250 hrs of operation including cost of lubricant (xxi) maintenacne and operation of filter press and collecting output neatly (xxii) operation of standby DG set st and when required (xxiii) operating clear water pumps regularly and in consultation with Engr-in-charge
Manning and operation, Routine maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant along with DG Sets and including all E/M inventory pertains to 450 KLD STP to be supplied, installed and commissioned in the contract to be carried out round the clock including all Sundays and public holidays by employing the man power and shift timings as mentioned below for operation of plant daily including supply of water treatment chemicals (i.e. Bio septic clean powder, sodium Hypochloride, Dap enzime, Calcium Hypo Chloride and Bleaching powder etc.,), Activated carbon Filter media (ACF). Activated Sand filter media (ASF), MBBR fluidized bio-media, Bacteria culture and other consumables required for smooth running of STP Plant and provision of reliever for weekly off and carrying out daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly & half yearly maintenance etc., complete for the First year during defects liability period after completion of handing over of plant to MES all as specified and as directed.

NOTE FOR ITEM NOS 16.03 , 16.05 & 16.07: A. Testing of treated water: The treated water shall be got tested by the tenderer once in a month from regional Govt.Lab/other approved lab. Samples shall be collected in the presence of engr-in-charge and test reports shall be submitted to engr-in-charge in original for record purpose.If parameters of tested water are beyond the limits mentioned above or contractor failed to carryout the required tests the recovery at double the quoted rates of the contractor for the entire month shall be made from the contractor. (B) The recovery as follows to be made from payment of the contractor in the following exegency:- a) Operator found absent from duty @Rs.300/- per shift b) Not carrying out Testing of water sample @Rs.2500/- each c) Not maintaing log sheet/Log book @ 300/- per day d) Not maintaining designed parameters at double the rate quoted rate per shiftby the contractor.
