:Felling trees including uprooting roots and stumps upto 50 cm. below ground, cutting into pieces and removing the same from the site of work as directed. (A) Trees above 0.50m and up to 1m girth:

Earth work in embankment by truck carriage in ordinary/normal soil excluding sandy and rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 22cm. thick including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debries, breaking clods up to 2.5cm cube, dressing as per design section including payment of forest royalty if any, etc. complete as directed. (10% deduction will be made from the section measured quantities of the completed and compacted on account of shrinkage) For initial lead beyond ½ Km and up to 4.00 Km and for all lifts

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12 cm. minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pagging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90m and all lifts.

Construction of whole bamboo single palisading with matured bhaluka bamboo posts 7.5cm to 10 cm dia.,15 cm clear apart 1.50m to 1.80m above ground and 1.00m to 1.20m below ground with bhaluka bamboo inclined struts placed at 1.5m a part tied with three rows of horizontal half jati bamboo kamies etc. complete as directed. (Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 10.14 nos/ Rm & Jati Bamboo at the rate of 2.40 nos / Rm)

Construction of whole bamboo double palisading of 1.5m width with matured bhaluka bamboo 10cm to 15 cm dia., closely packed 3.00m to 3.50m above G.L.by hand shaking and hammering by the 10 kg. hammer from 15 to 20 qtl. capacity country boat below G.L. tied with 16G./ 18G. wire and bhaluka bamboo cross struts 1.50m apart tied together with two rows of half jati bamboo kamies and bhaluka inclined struts at 1.50 m interval on c/s complete as directed.(Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 52.00 nos/ Rm & Jati Bamboo at the rate of 1.60 nos / Rm)

Supply of serviceable empty cement bags.

Labour charge for laying and pitching earth filled cement bags including excavation and borrowing earth, breaking clods, filling in bags and supplying and stitching the mouth with jute sutli, etc. complete as directed. (cement bags will be supplied by the department free of cost). For borrowing earth from a distance beyond 30m. & up to 60m.

Compacting original ground (i) Compacting original ground supporting embankment Loosening, leveling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of each layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Table 300-2 for embankment construction as per technical specification clauses 301.4.1.

Labour for ramming with cast iron rammer to proper compaction including watering if necessary , etc. complete as directed.

Collection of sand gravel from approved quarry containing 60% sand and 40% gravel free from disintegrated and flaky pieces of vegetation and other deleterious matters, adherent coating etc. including stacking in suitable stacks at quarry site and payment of forest royalty etc. complete as directed..

Labour charge for laying of soling stone, brick bats, broken stone metal, sand gravel etc. on approach road including ramming dressing the seat and local carriage of materials up to a distance of 60 m complete as directed

Spreading of earth stacks over the crest and slope of embankment and places as directed in uniform layer of 22 cm. thick including breaking clods, dressing, ramming etc. complete where necessary including dressing the embankment. before complete as directed

Supply of Pre stressed Cement Concrete (PSC) Porcupine members of size 0.10m X 0.10mX 3.00m with M-40 grade of cement concrete with graded broken course aggregates up to 12mm size down and reinforced with 4 Nos. of 4 mm dia high tensile steel wire cable at four corners with necessary cover and 4mm high tensile stirrups at 250mm C/C, in conformity with IS-6403 and stressed to required strength not exceeding 9.18 N/mm, holes of 16 mm dia at 50 cm inside from both ends in the same face and in either face of post another 2 Nos. of holes of size 16 mm dia at 65mm inside from both ends including properly curing for 14 (fourteen) days and carriage of porcupine members from factory to the stack yard within a distance up to 100 Km complete as directed. NOTE: Consider sand = 0.0135 cum/member, stone aggregate of size 20mm = 0.0163 cum/ member & stone aggregate of size 10mm = 0.0108 cum/ memberwhile calculating deduction on Forest Royalty

Carriage of Porcupine members by 40 HP Tractor -trailor including local carriage of porcupine members from stack yard to loading site up to a lead of 150m, loading , un loading at river bank near work site etc. complete as directed.(For lead beyond 150m and up to 2.00 Km and for all lift)

Labour charge for launching of R.C.C. / PSC Porcupine including carriage of R.C.C./ PSC porcupine members of size 0.10m × 0.10m × 3.00m from the stack yard to the place of launching ,erection of the Porcupine with 6 (six) members properly, supply & fitting/fixing with 12 mm dia 25 Cm long M.S. Nuts and bolts and launching the porcupine properly as directed. (Lead up to 150 m) Launching without boat.

Earthwork in bank trimming to the designed section /slope including removing the soils at a safe distance, complete as directed.

Excavation for Structures (Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom,backfilling the excavated earth to the extent required and utilising theremaining earth locally for road work.)

Providing soling in foundation and under floor with stone/ best quality picked jhama brick, sand packed and laid to level and in panel after preparing the subgrade as directed including all labour and materials and if necessary dewatering, complete.(a) Brick on flat soling

Plain/Reinforced cement concrete, in sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specification and steel shuttering formwork Without plasticiser PCC Grade M15

Stone masonry work in cement mortar 1:3 for substructure complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications Random Rubble Masonry

Providing form work of ordinary timber planking so as to give a rough finish including centering, shuttering, strutting and propping etc., height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4.0M and removal of the same for in-situ reinforced concrete and plain concrete work in: Foundation, footings, bases of columns, pile cap, raft and mass concrete works etc.(using 25mm thick plank)

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry/Plain/Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V :20H towards drawing foce. Complete as per drawing and Technical specification.

20 mm thick Cement plaster in two coats on single or half brick walls for interior plastering up to 1st floor level including arises, internal rounded angles,chamfers and / or rounded angles not exceeding 80mm in girth and finished even and smooth including curing complete as directed. A) On rough side (backing coat 15 mm and finishing coat 5mm thick) a) In cement mortar 1:3

Construction of temporrary shed of two roof with mud plinth of 0.45 m height above ground level with Bhaluka bamboo post 1.5 m apart driven at atleast 0.75 m below ground and height above plint 2.5m. Split Jatti bamboo wall mud plastering white washing 2 coats, 10 cm thick touch roofing over bamboo rua frame pplacing at 0.15 m clear apart fitted with bamboo kamies from binding doors and windows with Bamboo Chattai strengthening with Bamboo frame binding with wire etc compple as directed. (Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 6.00 nos/ Rm & Jati Bamboo at the rate of 61.00nos / Rm)
