REPAIR AND MAINT OF HT/LT EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY, LT PANELS, OVERHEAD LINES, UG CABLES AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT RAMBAN AND BANIHAL UNDER AGE (I) BHALRA

Disconnecting defective outdoor/indoor transformers of capacity up to 63 to 315 KVA from HT/LT side, taking out complete transformer oil, storing the same in suitable container (to be arranged by the contractor) opening the top cover and lifting the core assembly by means of tripod and chain pulley block carefully to check its condition, refilling the transformer oil after complete dehydration/filtration if required (to be paid separately) and necessary repairs re fixing complete core assembly fixing the top cover and complete core assembly fixing the top cover and re-installation complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Pole mounted transformer lowering and taking down the same from two /four pole structure to ground carefully & rate will be considered in the quoted rate. (b) In case of major repairs/replacement in transformer which can not be undertaken at site the transformer shall be shifted at civil workshop and the cost shall be paid separately under relevant items. (c) Cost of dehydration/filteration and other necessary repairs shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. Contractor shall bring the mechanic at site for first inspection of the transformer after that transformer shall be shifted at workshop complete all as directed by Engr-In-Charge. .

Transporting of burnt out transformer for repair to civil workshop, any type (T & P be required for shifting of transformer will be provided by Contractor) and Strip opening of transformer and removing the top cover for repair, and taking out the burnt out core alongwith HT/LT coil (windings) assembling the core after replacement of HT/LT coils heating varnishing, testing and housing accessories in transformer body and connection up filling in dehydrated transformer oil and connection with existing electrical system HT/LT and commissioning complete on load of capacity not exceeding 63 to 315 KVA.(Transformer oil shall be measured and paid separately).

Rewinding with super enameled double paper covered copper wire for HV (11/0.433KV) winding having existing size, giving proper insulation and de-moisturizing before assembling the winding core and including primary testing, ratio testing, no load testing, core insulation testing and setting connection of tap changer including taking out unserviceable winding wire complete all as specified and directed.

Reconditioning of LT side coils by removing it from its postion carefully and refixing the same carefully by providing insulation material, packing and spacers etc and de-moisturizing before assembling and number of turning & weight to suit with existing coils including primary testing, ratio testing, no load testing, core insulation testing and setting connection of tap changer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

De-hydration/ filtration of transformer oil by hiring on line filtration plant to achieve di-electric strength not less than minimum 50 KV at 2.5 mm gap including following work services :- (a) Removal of all suspended particles such as dust, rust, scales, collided carbon oxidation sludge etc upto < 1 micron. (b) De-hydration of transformer oil under vaccum. (c) Circulation of heated oil and filling of treated oil in transformer tank. (d) Top up the transformer oil. NOTE : (i) Contractor shall use the vehicle mounted filtration plant with new suitable size heavy duty hose pipe. (ii) The transformer oil required for replacing/top up shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" (iii) Conducting field testing of di-electric strength of the transformer oil before and after filteration (iv) Checking the megger/earth resistance values with battery operated megger of 5 KV

Secondary stud bush of brass complete with nuts bolts and washers of brass upto 315 KVA Transformer, fixed in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Primary stud bush of brass complete with nuts bolts and washers of brass upto 315 KVA Transformer, fixed in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Primary bush insulator brass rod of transformer of capacity upto 315 KVA, fixed in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Secondary bush insulator brass rod of transformer of capacity upto 315 KVA, fixed in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Silica gel (deep sky blue colour) for replacement in breathers of indoor/outdoor type transformer complete all as specified and directed.
