Earth work in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrowpits / Riverbed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. i) Gravel / moorum / kankar / compact moorum / very much weather rock/sticky soil mixed with moorum/soil mixed with shingles

Labour charges for collecting loose scattered laterite and stone boulders from slope, bed or apron and stacking the same above ground level within a lead of 100 metre and all lifts as per direction of the Engineer - in-charge.

Quarrying, Carrying, Supplying stone boulders/shingles from the Engineer-in-charge selected quarrying site to the site of work including cost of material, loading, unloading and carriage including all incidental charges like Royalty but exclusive labour charges for laying boulder in apron as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Quarry bed belongs to Forest Deptt. Govt of W.B) Boulders above 30Kg 70%,above 20Kg 20% and above 10Kg 10% N.B. The construction wing is to add royalty and other related fees at the presently prescribed rates for forest and non forest area as stated below to arive the total rate at quarry site till such rates are modified by the Forest Department and Department of Industry,Commerce & Enterprises, Govt of West Bengal. (a) For Forest area Royalty including entry Fee & TP Fee: Rs.178.33 per Cum. (b) For Non-Forest area Royalty : Rs. 106..00 per Cum. Royalty (including other charges whereever applicable) certificates in original from competent authority are to be submitted along with the bill, otherwise amount due towards Royalty (including other charges whereever applicable, but excluding GST) will be deducted from the bills of works.

Making rectangular sausage cage with 10 SWG galvanized iron wire of 125mm. x125mm.meshwirenettingwithproper lapping of minimum 150mm. including sewing the joints with 12SWG GI wire and supply of all material sand equipments including placing the sausagecage inposition, filling the same with boulder or lump agreegates completeas per direction of the Engineer-in-charge but excluding the cost of boulder / lumpaggregatesanditscarriageuptosite.(Cost isexcluding the cost of end pieces ) 1.20 metre x 0.60 metre nominal section

Making rectangular / circular sausage cage with 10SWG galvanized iron wire of 150 mm.x150 mm.mesh wire netting withproper lapping of minimum150mm including sewing the joints with12 SWG GI wire and supply of all materials and equipments including placing the sausage cage in position, filling the same with boulder or lump aggregates complete as per directionof the Engineer-in-charge but excluding the cost of boulder / lump aggregate sand its carriage upto site.(Cost is excluding the cost of end pieces) 1.50 metre diameter.

Supplying, fitting, fixing end pieces for rectangular / square / circular sausages at the ends, with 10 SWG / 8 SWG GI wire-net of different mesh sizes tying & sewing the same maintaning a lap langth of 150 mm all around with 12 SWG GI wire complete, including the cost of supply of wire-netting, fitting etc, complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Labour charges for laying boulder / shingles in apron or within wire-netting of sausage for slope pitching including carriage upto 30 metre and all lifts & dressing the exposed faces etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Boulder

Labour charges for constructing sausage crates with 8 gauge /10 gauge dia GI wire netting of different shape and size in embankment , apron, slope etc. Including binding with 12 SWG GI wire and tied at required interval as per direction of the Engineer - in - charge.(rate excludes cost of wire net and laying of boulders but includes cost of binding wire).
