REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF DISINFECTION SYSTEM CLEANING OF OVERHEAD RESERVOIR AND UG SUMP INCLUDING CERTAIN REPAIR WORKS AT WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATION AT AF STATION JAMMU AND KALUCHAK UNDER GE (AF) JAMMU

Cleaning the overhead reservoir cap 50000 gallons to 1.0 lakh gallons (twin or single chamber) by draining the complete water and brushing the surface with iron brush and removing the complete mud/ silt and washing the complete inner surface of the tank to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge and writing the date of cleaning on surface of tank with white synthetic enamelled paint on black background all as directed by Engineer In Charge.(Pump House No 8,11,3) Note:- T&P, material, labour involved in cleaning shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Cleaning the semi underground reservoir cap 50000 gallons(at Kaluchak) by draining the complete water and brushing the surface with iron brush and removing the complete mud/ silt and and washing the complete inner surface of the tank to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge and writing the date of cleaning on surface of tank with white synthetic enamelled paint on black background including covered the opening hole of tank with chicken wire mesh with wooden frame, hinges and locking arrangement complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.(Map Area -02,Kaluchak -01) Note: T&P, material, labour involved in cleaning shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Cleaning the overhead reservoir cap 25000 to 50000 gallons (twin or single chamber) by draining the complete water and brushing the surface with iron brush and removing the complete mud/ silt and washing the complete inner surface of the tank to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge and writing the date of cleaning on surface of tank with white synthetic enamelled paint on black background complete all as specified and directed.(Tech Area UGB) Note:- T&P, material, labour involved in cleaning shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Cleaning the SWT underground reservoir cap 20000 gallons by draining the complete water and brushing the surface with iron brush and removing the complete mud/ silt and washing the complete inner surface of the tank to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge and writing the date of cleaning on surface of tank with white synthetic enamelled paint on black background including covered the opening hole of tank with chicken wire mesh with wooden frame, hinges and locking arrangement complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.(Tech Area -02, 172 SU-01) Note: T&P, material, labour involved in cleaning shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

M&L for removing bore well column pipes upto 100 mm dia with submersible flat cable of any type and dismantling and taking up/down SUBMERSIBLE PUMP & Motor ASSEMBLY of capacity 33HP to 40HP , shifting to workshop and removing unserviceable spares, replacing with new spares such impeller, bushes distance bush, seal etc of same specifications / type / model. removing burnt copper winding from motor and rewinding with same guage and type of insulation copper conductor winding wires and insulation sheets , applying insulating varnish over the complete winding , drying up by heating , assembling back and testing for proper function including necessary machining works as required , bringing back and reinstalling into the bore well complete all as specified and directed. Note: Column Pipes will be measured and paid for separately under relevant Item.

Description all as per item No. 5 here in before but for submersible pump & motor of capacity 15 to 25 HP all as directed by Engineer In Charge.

S&F MS column pipe 100 mm dia medium grade (heavy duty) flanged type incl necessary fixing MS nut, bolt, washer & gaskets' etc incl groove for cable entry system of 3 mtr in length all as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Servicing of Hemisphere fountain including cleaning of fountain nozzles, adjustment of fountain nozzles for a precision effect, cleaning of pump suction wire mesh, testing of water proof luminaries, cleaning of toughened glass and heat resistant polyester/polycarbonate filter, tightening all electrical connections of control panel etc and testing of complete fountain installed at Officer Mess Gate complete all as specified and directed. (officer Mess and Near stationary shop) (i) Any parts required to be replaced during servicing Fountain shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item as "Supply only" of this schedule. However labour element involved in replacement is deemed to be included in quoted rates against this item. (ii) Any minor repairs involved in servicing to make the Fountain functional even if notified by the Engineer in Charge shall be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. (iii) This item will be operated in every three month during the entire period of the contract and shall be measured separately number of times the job is carried out.
