Material & Labour for removing of unserviceable nylon newar from charpoy GI pipe, tightening of all loose components of complete charpoy such as check nuts, elbows, long rails, short rails, legs, etc and supply and fixing 12mm thick Plywood, 7 Ply, commercial type, BWR, exterior grade (water proof), ISI marked, of size 1980 mm x 920 mm in single piece fixed on top of Charpoy GI pipe with & including supplying and fixing two Nos stiffeners made out of mild steel flat iron 35mmx5mm, 880mm long between long rails parallel to short rails with equal spacing and power welding duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer, plywood top fixed with and including mild steel galvanized iron nuts & bolts of size 70mm long x 6mm dia (Nos of bolts to be provided - 12 Nos) with GI washers of suitable size (Heavy weight) in sufficient numbers on top of bolts to maintain the plywood top in true leveled position and one GI washer on underside of each bolt for proper tightening of bolt, embossing word "MES” with height of letters 10cm on four corners of the plywood top with thick black synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified, shown on drawings and as directed. Notes :- (i) The above mentioned size of plywood is firm and no tolerance in size, thickness etc shall be accepted. (ii) Plywood shall be provided in single piece in each Charpoy. (iii) Electric arc welding shall be used to fix stiffeners. (iv) Welding rod shall be ISI marked. (v) Purchase voucher of plywood shall be obtained by the contractor from authorised dealer/manufacturer and shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge. Drg No. FD-220

Dismantling carefully unserviceable long rail of Charpoy GI pipe and fixing new long rail made out of GI pipe 32 mm bore (medium grade) 1980mm long duly continuous welded properly at both ends as per best trade practice and also duly painted with aluminium paint on welded portion, including cutting of GI pipe to required length, complete all as specified, shown on drawings and as directed. Notes :- (i) GI pipe 32 mm bore (medium grade) shall be issued by the department under Schedule ‘B’ free for fixing only. (ii) Welding of rail shall be as per best trade practice with continuous welding and as approved by GE. (iii) Unit for measurement of this item is ‘Each Job’ which shall comprise of removing of one old long rail and fixing of one new long rail in lieu. (iv) Electric arc welding shall be used. (v) Welding rod shall be ISI marked. Drg No. FD-220

Dismantling carefully unserviceable short rail of Charpoy GI pipe and replacement by short rail made out from old long rail GI pipe retrieved under serial item No. 2 here-in-before, duly continuous welded properly at both ends as per best trade practice and also duly painted with aluminium paint on welded portion, complete all as specified, shown on drawings and as directed. Notes :- (i) Welding of rail shall be as per best trade practice with continuous welding and as approved by GE. (ii) Unit for measurement of this item is ‘Each Job’ which shall comprise of removing of one old short rail and fixing of one short rail in lieu made out of old long rail. (iii) The rate quoted for this item shall include for making of short rail by cutting from old long rail in appropriate size. (iv) Electric arc welding shall be used. (v) Welding rod shall be ISI marked. Drg No. FD-220

Dismantling carefully unserviceable leg of Charpoy GI pipe and replacement by leg made out from old short rail GI pipe retrieved under serial item No. 3 here-in-before, duly continuous welded properly at one end as per best trade practice and also duly painted with aluminium paint on welded portion, with & including supply & fixing mild steel 3mm thick & 50mm dia plate to the bottom of leg duly continuous welded as per best trade practice and also duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint, a new clamp made from flat iron 25x3mm, made to shape and welded to GI leg for fixing conduit for MNF Set (without washer) duly painted with two coats of black paint, fixed as upper clamp to leg and another new clamp made from flat iron 25x3mm, made to shape and welded to GI leg for fixing conduit for MNF Set with & including 16 Gauge MS washer welded at bottom of clamp duly painted with two coats of black paint, fixed as lower clamp to leg, complete all as specified, shown on drawings and as directed. Notes :- (i) Welding of leg shall be as per best trade practice with continuous welding and as approved by GE. (ii) Unit for measurement of this item is ‘Each Job’ which shall comprise of removing of one old leg and fixing of one leg in lieu made out of old short rail and S&F of MS plate & clamps. (iii) The rate quoted for this item shall include for making of leg by cutting from old short rail in appropriate size. (iv) Electric arc welding shall be used. (v) Welding rod shall be ISI marked. Drg No. FD-220

Note applicable to serial item No. 2.00 to 4.00 :- Old U/S GI pipe 32mm bore obtained in cut pieces from long rails & short rails after making short rails & legs respectively and old U/S legs retrieved from serial item No. 2.00 to 4.00 here-in-before shall be the property of MES and the contractor shall be responsible for depositing the same to MES store yard of BSO (A) Suratgarh at no extra cost to the Government.

Supply & fixing in position GI 3 way elbow 32mm bore, medium grade (‘B’ Class), ISI marked in Charpoy GI pipe including dismantling & taking out carefully old unserviceable GI 3 way elbow 32mm bore complete all as specified, shown on drawings and as directed. Drg No. FD-220

Supply & fixing in position GI check nut 6mm thick 32mm bore, medium grade (‘B’ Class), ISI marked in Charpoy GI pipe including dismantling & taking out carefully old unserviceable GI check nut complete all as specified, shown on drawings and as directed. Drg No. FD-220

Supply & fixing mild steel 3mm thick & 50mm dia plate to the bottom of leg of Charpoy GI pipe duly continuous welded as per best trade practice and also duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint including taking out carefully old unserviceable wooden block from lower end of leg complete all as specified, shown on drawings and as directed. Drg No. FD-220

Material & labour for electric arc welding of long rails, short rails, legs of 32mm bore GI tubing by continuous welding around the broken joint duly painted with aluminium paint on welded portion complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Unit for measurement of this item is ‘Each’ which shall comprise of welding of each broken joint all as specified above. (ii) Welding rods shall be ISI marked (iii) This item shall not be paid for serial item No. 2.00, 3.00, 4.00, 5.00 & 7.00 here-in-before. Drg No. FD-220
