PROVN OF PCC PLINTH AND INTERLOCKING PAVER BLOCK BETWEEN ORP PEN AND ORR AT AF STATION HASIMARA

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) over areas ( exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm area on plan) including gettingout and disposal excavated earth lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5m as directed by Engineer-in- Charge complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for laying and compacting 200 mm thick (Compacted thickness) granualar sub base (GSB) grade V (grading and physical requirements as per table 400-1 and 400-2 respectively of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge works) over compacted sub grade with natural sand , crushed grvels , crushed stone , crushed slag or combination thereof as per grading required. The material are mechanically mixed , spead and levelled on the sub grade and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80 to 100 KN static weight for acheiving required compaction density of atleast 98 % of maximum dry density . Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.Finish surface tolerance as per table 900-2 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works , 2013 and all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying and compacting 250 mm thick (Compacted thickness ) of Wet mixed macadam (WMM) in two layers of 75mm and one layer 100mm thick manufactured in WMM palnt (Physical requirement and grading as per table 400-12 and 400-13 respectively of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works) , Material comprising of clean , crushed , graded aggregate and Granualar material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading using sensor pavor including spreading and compacting using double drum smooth wheeled vibratory rollers with 80-100KN static weight for acheiving required compaction density of atleast 98 % of maximum dry density and rolled consolidated to required gradient and camber complete as specified .If water absorption value of coarse aggregate is greater that 2% the soundness test shall be catered out on the material delevered at site as per IS 2386 (Part-V). The finished surface tolerances as per as per table 900-1 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge work all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete. all as specified and directed.

M & L brick work with fly ash bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed..

M & L cement concrete type D2 1:4:8 ( 40 mm graded aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L hardcore of broken stone or boulders guage exc 63mm but n exc. 100 mm, deposited,spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/ rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M & L 15 mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete sur faces in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L 150 mm thick cement concrete type C- 2, 1:3:6 (40mm graded aggregate) as in floor complete all as specified and directed.

M & L 100 mm thick cement concrete type B1, 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) as in floor with spike rolling to surfaces or making impressions of expanded metal, whilst the concrete is green complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of construction joints 25mm deep and 10mm wide by early entry saw cut using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges .Joints cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air.Joint shall be made dry vaccum cleaned and free of dirt,oil, vegetation and other debris.Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 miniutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant .Placing of closed cell medium density crossed linked polyethylene and foam backup rod of 12mm dia , application of bond breaker tape on top of backup rod for complete width of joint and filled with polyurethene based sealant complying with BS -5212,BS-4254 and EN 141875-2003 with minimum movement accomodation factor (MAF) +/- 30% having minimum 10 years peroforming gaurantee applying masked tape on the edges of joints to prevent accidental spill age of sealant and removing the masking tape tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified and directed by the manufacturer.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance exc 1.50 Km and not exc 5.00 KM and depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed.

M & L providing, cement concrete type B1, 1:2:4 ( 20mm graded aggregate) as in side of paverblock,lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and directed.
