PROVISION OF STANDBY TRANSFORMER AND ALLIED WORKS UNDER GE (AF) MARATHAHALLI

Supply, install, testing & commissioning step down transformer 500 KVA, 11000/433 V (at no load) AC, outdoor type, 4 wire, 3 phase, 50 Hz, core type copper wound, oil immersed, naturally cooled, oil natural, air natural (ONAN), with external cooling tubes, delta connected on primary side (HV) and star connected on secondary side (LV) in accordance with vector symbol. DYN-11 (Vector Group) with neutral brought out on secondary side (LV) and having tapping at +5% to -7.5% @ 2.5% HV side to be changed by means of hand operated off load tap changer gear. The maximum temperature rise should not exceed 45 degree C in oil and 55 degree C in HV/LV coil winding when measured by resistance method after continuous full load run on an ambient temp of 40 degree C. The transformer shall be of EEL-3 conforming to IS-1180 - 2014 Amendment No. 1, 2, 3 & 4 after 29 Mar 2022 or with latest amendments and overload capacity of transformer as per IS-2026 with latest amendments as per manufacturer recomendation and shall comprise of the following: Make: Crompton / Voltamp vadodra/ Resi Tech / PME / ITE Gurgaon / Kanakaya Parameshwari Engineering Ltd (KPL) / Bharath Bijilee Ltd Mumbai.

a) One cable box on HT side (Primary side) consisting of 3 Nos porcelain bushing with copper rods, complete with nuts and washers with 02 Nos cable glands suitable for reception / taking out of XLPE insulated heavy duty armoured cables including gland, joint and jointing materials complete. (b) One cable box on LT side (Secondary side) consisting of 4 Nos porcelain bushing with copper rods, complete with nuts and washers with 02 Nos cable glands suitable for reception / taking out of PVC / XLPE insulated heavy duty armoured LT cables including gland, joint and jointing materials complete. (c) Oil conservator with filter type drain valve and oil level guage. (d) De-hydrating breather with first fill of dehydrating agent (silica gel). (e) Explosive vent. (f) Thermometer pocket on tank cover. (g) One No 100 mm dia, dial type thermometer, vapour pressure type having range 0-120 degree C with metal guard having maximum perimeter reading temparature indicator with resisting device for transformer.

(h) Two earthing terminals on tank cover to facilitate fixing of 32 x 6 mm galvanized iron earth strip for earthing of neutral and body. (j) Rating plate and terminal marking plate. (k) Oil level guage. (l) Oil drain filler valve. (m) Lifting lugs. (n) Oil filling hole with cap / plug with connecting plate complete. (o) Air release valve plug. (p) Four plain solid cast steel detachable rollers. (q) Extra bushing for neutral, outside the LT cable box for providing independent earthing for neutral. (r) First filling of new and unused transformer oil IS-335/93 (fourth version) marked filtered.

S&F for PVC Insulated Copper cable 1100 V , 50 sqmm , single core multistranded lugged both side (copper lug ) including suitable size Nut, Bolt and washer (brass ) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for XLPE insulated HT UG Cable of 120 sqmm 3 core screened, PVC bedded,galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavyduty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts (Earthed) grade complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 sqmm to 185 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for XLPE insulated LT UG Cable 400 sqmm 3½ core, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade including legged both sides complete all as specified and directed.

Fabrication and supply 4 wheel (Double Axle) trolley with spring suspension suitable for mounting transformer capacity 500 KVA , size of Trolley 3000 mm x2000mm and carrying load capacity up to 3000 kg along with turn table,parking brake and 04 Nos screw jack assembly with 3mm thick MS plate for Top, 7.50 x 16 size tyres and axle. The mobile unit set will bollet on frame trolley and locking arrangement for both sides with necessary angle support for antivibration complete all as specified and directed.

Chassis; The base bed shall be of flat bed type It shall be of rolled/press Sections/welded construction. The minimuns thickness of steel sheet shall 3 mm. adequate supporting arrangement with suitable MS channel capable of withstanding the weight of TRANSFORMER etc. shall be provided. Suspension:- Suitable suspension arrangement by two semi elliptic leaf Spring on each axle shall be provided. These springs shall be made out of Silica manganese steel. All leaves shall be shot peered on tension side Axle: Front axle shall have TURN TABLE steering while the rear shall be rigid type. This axle shall have heavy-duty precision taper roller bearing with Proper dust covering. Tyre: Minimum 4 Nos. of adequate size of tyre should be provided. Tow bar: Tow bar shall be sturdy triangular type with forged twin eye with ball joints from draw bar to steering levers. Necessary stoppers to be provide to limit the steering angle. The diameter of the towing eye shall be suitable tow hooks fitted in commonly used towing vehicle by the department.

Steering The front wheel of the trailer shall be connected to the TURN TABLE. Steering on either side is to be limited by means of steering locks. Proper alignment of the front wheels shall maintain to ensure case of steering and satisfactory tyre life. Brake system A hand parking brake for rear wheels shall be provided. The control shall be by hand wheel/lever at rear end of the trailer so positioned that the operator can handle the brake controls standing on ground. Minimum 4 Nos. of suitable size mechanical jack should be provided for keeping trolley for long stay period. Other fittings. Equilateral triangular reflex reflectors shall be provided each in front and rear of the trolley. I No reflector type T sign plate at the end of the right shall be provided. PAINTING All exposed metal parts of the chassis body shall be suitably painted to Prevent corrosion under climatic conditions site as per the procedure given below.
