B/R Portion

Bringing approved earth (soft/loose soil ) from out side of defence land (any distance ) and deposited for embankment / filling of craters / low lying area and including spreading in layers n. exc. 30 cm thick, levelled & including ramming with mechanical roller including watering complete all as specified. NOTE:- (i) Earth shall be free from foreign materials i.e grass, roots etc. (ii) To arrive finished quantity for payment purpose consolidation thickness shall be measured. (iii) The specified proctor density under optimum moisture condition shall be obtained and 5% deduction for bulkage shall be made. (iv) The consolidation shall be done by heavy mechanical machinery and number of passes shall be determine at site as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. (v) Cost of earth and removal to any lead shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

PCC type D-2 (1:4:8), using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in filling & mass concrete, sub base, complete all as specified.

Reinforced cement concrete, type B-1,(1:2:4), (nominal mix) using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in kitchen shelves and the like complete all as specified.

Grouting 25mm thick under stanchion bases or grillages etc including any temporary shuttering to edges with cement mortar 1:2 completed.

Cutting holes into or through RCC/brick walls built in cement mortar exceeding half brick thick but not exc one brick thick for inserting angle/tee/pipe/ hold fast or similar purposes etc. and making good in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4, Type B-1 as required complete all as specified.

Brick work using bricks as specified in PS clause 5.1, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6), complete all as specified.

Use & waste of formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work; not exceeding 200 mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) with fair finished surfaces of concrete, complete all as specified.

Formwork to edges of concrete flats, treads, breaks in floors, window cills, concrete railings, openings in concrete walls, floor and roofs n exc 20 cm wide and sides of RCC/PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work exc 10cm but n exc 20cm wide complete, all as specified.

Factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top and bottom rails, MS frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC 'C' channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for styles and wood grain colour PVC sheet for top rail, lock rail and bottom rail, panelling of wood grain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the MS frame welded / sealed to the stile and rails with suitable PVC sheet beading and jointed together with solvent cement as specified in SSR Part II, complete all all as specified.

Flush shutters, solid core construction, with block board core and plywood face panels, commercial type on both sides, thickness 30 mm,etc complete all all as specified.

Factory made solid PVC Door frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm thick plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with mild steel square tube, suppling & fixing in opening, complete all as specified.

2nd Class hardwood of size 105 mm x 60 mm made wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints supplied and fixed complete all as specified

Stainless steel 100mm long butt hinges with stainless steel screws, ISI marked complete all as specified.

Aluminium anodised barrel tower bolt of extruded section 150mm long, ISI marked, complete all as specified.

Aluminium alloy, anodised, ISI marked sliding door bolt with hasp and staple (bolt type) and fixing clips of sheet, cast or extruded sections and fixing bolts and sliding bolts of extruded section or cast aluminium alloy 250 mm long, complete all as specified.

Aluminium handle, 125 mm long, curve shape with stainless steel screws, complete all as specified.

Stainless steel wire cloth 0.36 mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperature 1.40 mm and fixed with tinned tacks or steel wire staples all as specified.

Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified.

Mild steel bands, straps, supports, including bolts, if required; hooks (stay), heavy, for large gates; hook and pintle hinges; chains; hand made sliding bolts; clamps; hold fasts; wall ties; plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood trusses or rafters; knee piece inserts; two way and three way straps, plate washers and similar small articles confirming to Fe-290-Gde E-165, complete all as specified.

Roof sheets stays, window guard bars, plain let in and fixed independently in wooden frame L or T section support for shelves etc, and similar articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 including dismantling existing iron complete all as specified.

Powder coated aluminium frame for doors, windows, ventilators, fixed glazing with one or more rebates including joining cleat for fixing, fixed to opening with suitable size steel screws and rawl plugs etc., (aluminium section not less than 2 mm thick) complete all as specified. Note : Minimum thickness of powder coating shall be 50 micron.

Powder coated aluminium window and ventilator shutters fixed type without sash bar including anodised alumnium glazing snap beading rubber neoprene packing including joining cleats & screws etc as per manufacturers instructions aluminium section weighing 0.55 Kg/m after all as specified. NOTES: (a) Each shutter shall have 2 Nos. 125 mm long almn handles and 02 No. 75 mm size stainless steel/almn butt hinges & one no. almn hook & eye. (b) Glass and other filling materials in panels including wire cloth and almn grill shall be measured & paid for separately under respective item of BoQ. (c) For powder coated aluminum sections minimum thickness of powder coating shall be 50 micron.

Figured glass, 4 mm thick, ordinary quality duly sticked with solar control reflective type film, having thickness not less than 25 micron and fixed air tight with neoprene packing & almn glazing clips, for aluminium sections, complete all as specified.

75 mm thick, cement concrete type C-2, 1:3:6 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, finished even & rough, as in sub floors, complete all as specified.

Granite jet black shade, 18-20 mm thick,as in step, jambs, cooking platform and like, machine cut, machine polished, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry & pointed with grout of matching shade including necessary cutting over & including 10 mm thick (average thickness) cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified.

Rounding of / moulding to edges (half round) of stone of any description including rubbing and polishing (Granite finish), complete all as specified.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc., and brushing a coat of cement slurry with 3 kg of cement per Sq.m, complete all as specified.

Glazed ceramic coloured tiles 7-8 mm thick, area of each tile exc. 0.13 Sq.m but n. exc. 0.19 Sq.m on vertical surfaces as in skirting, dado etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile laid over and including 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) including necessary cutting as per site requirement complete all as specified

Rendering 5 mm thick on fair faces of concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth on ceiling in cement mortar (1:3), complete all as specified.

Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair on walls in cement mortar (1:6), complete all as specified.

Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair on walls in cement mortar (1:4), mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions, complete all as specified.

Supply only water proofing compound, ISI marked, complete all as specified.

Setting coat 3mm thick of cement plaster 1:2 trowelled to even and smooth finish complete all as specifed.

Complete removal of existing treatment of any description, including prepration of wall surfaces of any description complete all as specified and applying the following: - (a) Applying wall care putty, in two layer & smoothening the surfaces etc. as specified (preparatory to paint as directed). (b) Two coats of interior acrylic distemper over and including a coat of acrylic emulsion primer.

IN REPLACEMENT, complete all as specified. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) The unit rate includes earthing lead & protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate. (iii) Earth resstance shall be less than 3 ohm. In case the test results are not found less than 3 ohm, complete earthing shall be redone by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

Demolition and Dismantling Work

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) area not exceeding 1.50 Sq.m each and removing from site all as specified.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified.

Demolition brickwork or stone / boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc complete all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not excceding 15cm thickness (above or below ground level) all as specified

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided all as specified.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete with batten, casing caping of MS or and PVC conduit on surface or concealed, including switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, mild steel terminal boxes etc., removing materials and making good disturbed surfaces due to taking down etc. to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge, complete all as specified.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium sub main wiring complete, including existing batten/conduit consealed/surface etc., removing materials and making good disturbed surfaces due to taking down etc. to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge, complete all as specified.
