Make: Polycab/ Havells/ Finolex / Plaza Note : 1. The cost of Al thimbles/lugs and cable gland etc is incl in quoted rate and no extra payment will be made for it.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep for laying of cables, pipes, foundation for poles etc., and getting out in Hard / dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. Note: 10% shall be deducted from the total computed volume of filling to cater in bulk irrespective of machinery used for ramming.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as directed.

Material and labour for sand filling in trenches fine dry sand as sand cushioning to cable 8 cm before laying of cables and 15 cm after laying cable which shall be punned down to 10 cm complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Only punned down thickness shall be measured and paid)

Supply and laying unreinforced Precast Cement Concrete Cable Covers, class LV, Type-1, Flat, size 250mm X 150mm X 40mm made out of M-20 grade PCC as per IS-5820: 1970, in trenches for cable protection, embossed with " ELECTRIC" on the top surface complete all as specified and as dircted.

Supply, laying and fixing 100mm bore GI light grade pipe for necessary road crossing, culverts etc for cable protetcion all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 25x4mm Galvanised iron strip earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall with clamps or buried in ground or drawn in conduits / pipe and fixed to pole, panel/transformer or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specified and as dircted.

Supply of JEF ECO SAFE Maintenance Free Grounding Solution set comprising of High tensile low carbon steel rod of 3 Mts length & 32 mm dia with 250 micron (average ) molecularly bonded copper on the outer surface to confirm with requirements of UL467 along with Back-fill compound strictly be a Carbon based conductive concrete type which has a resistivity of less than 0.12 Ohm Mtr as per Clause 14.5D of IEEE : 80 standard. Back-fill compound should be electronically conductive ( Like in metals ) and should not depend on moisture for conduction. JEF ECO SAFE compound shall be supplied in 50 Pound Bag. ( 1 Bag required per earthing set). Back-fill comound should be environment friendly, should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete and should not leach / diffuse into the ground. A suitable earth terminaton clamp should also be supplied alongwith weatherproof chamber as directed. Note : Back-fill compund shall not be mixed with any soil while pouring in the bore hole.
