Alternator: Standard design alternator, Power Rating 1250 KVA / 1000 KW, net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions 3 phase 4 wire, 415 volts, 50 Hz, power factor 0.8 (lagging) current 1750 Amps, net output at site after considering derating for per site conditions at 0.8 (lagging) power factor, self excited, self regulated, screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design, insulation class 'H' and automatic voltage regulation of +1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The permissible overload should be 10% for one hour in 12 hours of duration. The alternator shall be conforming to BS 2613 / 5000 / IS 4722. The alternator shall be in position to generate supply with frequency regulation within +1% tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for Hyderabad climate and shall generally confirm to BS-2613 / 5000 / IS-4722. Make: KIRLOSKAR / STAMFORD / JYOTI / CG / BHARAT BIJLEE.
Diesel Engine: Adequate capacity Diesel Engine capable of 1250 KVA coupled with alternator and after considering derating as per site conditions and power consumed by accessories. The engine shall be directly coupled through closed coupling, turbocharged after cooled, multi cylinder, multi stroke direct injection, cold starting and shall confirm ISO-3046 / BS-5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in 12 hours continous operation. The engine shall be electric start and shall be suitable for battery assisted manual / auto starting. The governing system of the engine shall be electric type and suitable to frequency variation within +1% in case of load is switch on or thrown off. Make: CUMMINS / GREAVES COTTON / ASHOK LEYLAND / KIRLOSKAR / CATER PILLAR. (i) Turbo charger, pulse tuned exhaust manifold. (ii) Cooling System: Mounted radiator with fan and belts & guard, corrosion inhibitor coolent etc. (iii) Silencer: Residential type.
(iv) Exhaust System: Exhaust system complete with flexible stainless steel piping of suitable dia of height above the adjacent building of 3.5Mtrs or CPCB norms with necessary stack arrangement with steel necessary supports and proper insulation complete for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclosure. (v) Starting System: Electric Self Starter with maintenance free batteries including battery charging alternative belt driven. (vi) Fuel injection system with fuel injectors, filters, houses, fuel injection solenoid switch and nozzels. (vii) Fuel tank of adequate capacity: As per OEM norms and specifications designed for above capacity of DG Set. (viii) Lub oil pump, filter and coller. (ix) Intake system: Air intake manifold with dry type air filters. (x) Engine and alternator shall be mounted on common base frame with AVM pads. (xi) Mounted micro processor based control panel having standard features and display engine and electrical parameters.
(xii) The engine supplied with first filling of oil of required quantity as recommended by OEM. (xiii) All deliverible shall be confirmed the norms established by CPCB. AMF Panel: Auto Main Failure (AMF) panel out door type made out 3.15mm CRCA sheet weather proof powder coated conforming to IS 8623 & IP-54 totally enclosed dust and vermin proof with front and rear openings of 415 Volts, 3 phase, 4 wire AC 50 Hz having aluminium bus bar of capacity required to carry current at 110% load of 1250 KVA DG set with three phase and full neutral colour coded prewired with copper flexible cable. AMF panel shall house adequate capacity contactors for smooth transfer of load between mains and DG set. Panel shall be operated with three modes of operation. (i) Auto (ii) Manual (iii) Test Contactor of suitable capacity 3 pole with required Nos. as per OEM, TP conractor for neutral for both supplies.
Suitable capacity of ACB, 4 Pole, 2500Amps, 50KA, manual draw out type -2 nos, for both the supplies, Push buttons, Indication lamps 2 over load + earth leakage relay Multi functional digital meter for KWH, KVA, KW, Amps, Volts, frequency, power factor etc. SMPS battery charge 12V with trickle and boost charging. ON / OFF switch. Automatic / Manual switch. Hooter. Voltage sensing relay. Six window anunciator for fault indications. Acoustic Enclosure: Enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in sheet metal will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom to suit conditions with the following features: - Make: KIRLOSKAR / JACKSON / SUDHIR / GREAVES COTTON / CUMMINS INDIA.
(i) Custom built product for various equipments with ensure the optimum performance without duration. (ii) 16 SWG (1.6mm) thick CRCA sheet to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS-8183 for maximum sound absoption. Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets. (iii) Sheet metal component of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against weathering action. (iv) Special paint treatment with pure polyster powder / epoxy to be provided for better weather resistance. (v) Well designed ventilation system to be provided to put out the heat from the chamber efficiently. (vi) For effective acoustic / weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets to be used. (vii) The DG set should be provided with the external emergency stop push button and fire alarm.
(viii) A see through transparent window in front of engine panel to be provided for monitoring the parameters. (ix) Working space is to be provided around the equipment for easy maintenance / repairs. (x) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exit of fuel lines cable to be incorporated in the enclosure as per the requirement. (xi) See through transparent window (glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel to be provided for monitoring the operation. (xii) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinge, fasters etc to be provided. (xiii) Deliverables 75DB @ 1 meter at 75% load under free field conditions. The temp inside the enclosure will be within limit and as per manufacturers recommendations above ambient temp. (xiv) The enclosure should be provided with bulk head light fitting for inside illumination. (xv) The exhaust pipe alongwith proper aluminium cladding shall be laid to a height of above the roof level. The rates for the same are to be included in the quoted rates. (xvi) The batteries (24 Volts, 180AH) should be placed inside the enclosure inside the DG set on a suitable insulated platform.
(xvii) Fuel gauge to be provided with the neck of fuel tank. (xviii) Tools as per manufacturers with the box. (xix) Invents of suitable company be manufacture. (xx) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. Civil Work: All civil works including RCC / PCC platform 1:3:6 type C2 and related to foundations including making good if existing structure of disturbed during installation and commissioning of Gen set. The depth of the foundation shall be minimum 300mm with anti vibration pads or as recommended by the manufacturer. The foundation drawing for DG set shall got be approved by Engineer-in-Charge before laying of foundation. The contractor has to obtain approval for RCC / PCC foundation for the DG set with the manufacturers. Rates shall be quoted accordingly with written certificate from the manufacturers for the same.
Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6.0mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 32 x 6 mm as earthing by means of bolts, nuts and washers of galvanised iron including excavation and earth work and disposal of surplus soil including 40mm GI tubing light grade and necessary fittings for protection of GI strip including laying of charcoal, dust and common slat, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 320mm graded aggregate with earth pit with 40 x 40 x 6.0mm MS angle iron frame RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4) type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm dia round bar @ 75mm c/c both way with MS handle 20mm dia plastering 15mm thick CM (1:6) internally and upto 150mm below ground level extenally. PGI funel with wire mesh 20mm dia GI pipe for watering complete all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I 2009 and connected to earth test point including testing complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Earth strip beyond 7.50mtrs will be measured and paid separately
Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall or batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / GI pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required GI strip 32 x 6 mm complete all as specified and directed.
Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of HT 11 KV, 3 Phase, 50 HZ, 800 Amps, 350 MVA, 18.1 KA Vacuum Circuit Breaker, extensible indoor type with motorized and manual spring charging facility, INCOMER CUM OUTGOING PANEL TYPE, copper bus bar draw out type, breaking capacity 18.1 KA for 3 Seconds, SCADA compatible, having pad lock, provision for earth switch complete with all necessary accessories and standard fittings (e.g. Relays, C.T.s, P.T.s, Power pack, spring charging motor, trip coil, ammeter, voltmeter, indication lamps etc) as per IEC 62271-100-200. The switch gear panel shall be of sheet steel construction with 2.00 mm thickness and shall be totally dust and vermin proof. The offered panels shall be testd for IAC for IAC level of 18.1 KA / 3 sec, No of operation of Vacuum Interrupter Bottles for better performance all as specified, required at site and as directed comprising of followings: -

Bus duct enclosure shall be designed for very high mechanical, electrical and heat loss efficiency.
Enclosure shall be with IP-54 protection for out door suitable for power distribution and enclosure certified for a min of 1500 hr salt spray test as per IEC, horizontal or vertical direction with span length jointed at regular intervals through removable block joints having all joint contact surfaces silver plated, together with all kinds of bends, tees etc with halogen free sandwich insulation system of class 130 with provision for termination inside power control centres of capacity for various types of loads, the bus trunking system routed on rigid ladder type trays of appropriate span and adequate strength with support structures anchored to ground and also provided with GI canopy not less than 2mm thick complete all as per NEC : SP-30 : 2011, IS-8623, IEC-61439-6, IEC-60364-5-54, IEC-529 & latest relevant standards all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Compact Busbar trunking system shall be fixed to top of gallery / roof / floor / duct / trench / walls / on supporting structure with necessary micro concerting alongwith fasteners, fixing arrangements. Connections at end point shall be done using copper flexibles.
(ii) The entire length bus bar trunking system conductors including junction contacts shal be suitably insulated to withstand 150 degree Centigrade. The entire bus duct alongwith junction Monoblock shall be of IP-65 protection. (iii) All the existing cables shall be removed only after energising the bus duct and transformer. Installation shall be carried out in spaces with live cables and pipe lines around using required safety standards. (iv) Supporting structure for bus duct between substation and user end panel room shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (v) Contractor shall be visit the site before submission of tender. (vi) Cost of fixing clamps, tin plated copper flexibles and terminal links and expansion joints, GI canopy not less than 2mm thick etc are deemed to be included in quoted rate.
Supply, erect, test & commissioning of APFC panel of capacity 150 KVAR, 440 V, 50 HZ, AC detuned dynamic type weather / vermin proof made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet factory with incommer MCCB 4 Pole 250 Amps, assembled modular construction outdoor type IP-54 protection with front side hinged double door with locking arrangement. The make of the panel of capacitor bank as recommended by manufacturer only with the following details: - Make: L&T / GEC / SIEMENS / ABB / EPCOS / IT&E. (a) The 150 KVAR (2 x 12.5 + 3 x 25 + 1 x 50), at 440 V, 3 phase, 50 HZ, AC grade, AC automatic power factor correction panel shall be having a 14% detuning series Reactor, alongwith capacitors of 150 KVAR at 525 V to give 150 KVAR at 440 V. Voltage rating in suitable KVAR rating to form a resonating circuit on 134 Hz. (b) Capacitor duty contactors of suitable rating for each capacitor and necessary switch gear. (c) Aluminium Bus bar and meters (Volt Meter, Ammeter, Power Factor Meter), indicating lamps. (d) PCC Work for foundation. (e) Control wiring, fuses etc.

Supply & lay, unreinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV type I flat size 300 x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.
Supply & lay, unreinforced precast concrete cable cover class LV type I flat size 250 x 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.
Supply & lay GI tube 150mm dia, light grade with all fittings fixed to walls, pole or laid in trenches for cable protection including MS clamps for fixing on wall/pole etc complete all as specified and directed.
M& L Cable route indicator marked with 'HT cable' made of GI plate 3mm thick and 150mm dia duly marked with working voltage, size of cable and route , fixed on MS angle Iron 40 x 40x 6mm thick with a height of 60cm above ground level and burried in ground in PCC 1:2:4, Type B1 of size 200x200x200mm complete all as specified and directed.
