Providing and laying Reinforced Earth Wall (rectification work to be executed as per site condition at a height of 06 m to 23 m from road /ground level) with Gabion Facia unit (size of units 3 m x 2 m x 1 m – L x B x H) having integrated tail as Secondary reinforcement of length 3 m that is made of mechanically woven, double twisted, hexagonal shaped wire mesh, mesh type 10 x 12 as per is 16014: 2018 (having D = 100 MM with tolerance of (±) 2%), wire dia ID/OD 2.7/3.7 mm, Zinc + Polymer class A Coating with minimum tensile strength of 37 Kn/m and punch strength 18 KN as per IRC: SP116, IS: 16014 & MoRTH specifications (Road & Bridge work : section 3100) and mechanically edged / selvedged with partitions at every 1 m interval shall have minimum 10 numbers of openings per meter of mesh perpendicular to twist tying with lacing wire of diameter 2.2 mm supplied @ 3% by weight of Gabion boxes, filled with boulders which is strong, hard, durable having crashing strength and preferably having flat face and density not less than 22 KN/m3 with least dimension of 200 mm, as per drawing, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge Note- (Gabion Facia unit of size 3 m x 2 m x 1 m – L x B x H having integrated tail as Secondary reinforcement of length 3 m is filled up with boulders partially in Gabion Structures unit 1m x 2m x1m space and rest space 2m x2m x1m will be filled with soil) This item includes cost of Gabion Structures unit (Lx B x H = 3 m X 2 m X 1 m – refer drawing /picture) & cost of Boulders / Stone including delivery at site near RCC Berm as specified above including dressing to required size and labour charge for making Gabion facia unit (size of units 3 m x 2 m x 1 m – L x B x H) having integrated tail at height varies from 06 m to 23 m from road level but cost of steel platform / scaffolding charge and cost of soil shall be paid separately in Agmt item (2) & (8) respectively.
Extra for lifting (06 m to 23 m) of materials (boulders/Soil) either by means of mechanically (chain pulley or winge system) or by manually from ground level at nearby RCC Berm as per site condition for execution of Item no. 1, for filling of stones / boulders in to the Gabion Facia Units as per direction of Engineer In-Charge.
Providing and fixing of Geogrid reinforced Geocomposite made of Polypropylene Polymer forming a three dimensional matrix of minimum mass per unit area 350 grams/sq.m extruded into a geogrid during the manufacturing process, the composite shall have a combined mass per unit area more than 500 grams/sq.m, Minimum longitudinal tensile strength 20kN/m and nominal thickness more than 13mm including lacing wire required to connect the nets, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Supply and fixing of steel wire mesh made of mechanically woven, double twisted, hexagonal shaped steel wire mesh, Mesh type 6X8 as per IS 16014:2018, Mesh wire dia 2.2 / 3.2 mm (ID/OD ), Zn+ Polymer class A Coating with minimum tensile strength of 35kN/m and punch strength 17kN as per IRC:SP-116 & IS:16014:2018,all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Supply and fixing of polyester needle punched non woven geotextile as filter media behind Gabion/Reinforced soil wall, behind gabion fascia , as per MoRTH 700 Type-III geotextile, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-In charge.(The width of geotextile roll shall not be less than 4.5 m.)
Supply & making Gabion units of 1m height made of mechanically woven, double twisted, hexagonal shaped steel wire mesh, Mesh type 10X12 as per IS 16014:2018, Mesh wire dia 2.7 / 3.7 mm (ID/OD ), Zn+ Polymer class A Coating with minimum tensile strength of 37kN/m and punch strength 18kN as per IRC:SP-116, IS:16014 & MORTH -Specifications for Road & Bridge Works: Section 2500 and Mechanically edged/selvedged, with partition at 1 m interval,filled with boulders which is strong, hard, durable having crashing strength and preferably having flat face and density not less than 22 KN/m3 with least dimension of 200 mm , as per drawing, all complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin- charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially,necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.
Supplying and Stacking Good earth at site. (Site is near to Ch. 2000 m where Earth is transported through mechnical means through operational area after closure of the watch hours nearer to the proposed site as far as possible mechancial means (tractor/dumper) which is better choice in interest of work.
Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation / banking excavated or stacked materials.
Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth,consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.
Providing services of the technical assistance expert having atleast 10 years experiences in the field of Reinforced Earthing wall or similar nature of work, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Inclusive of accomodation TA&DA for the mentioned period)
Providing Vegetation by Scattering seeds of local plants and planting shrubs along with placing live stakes@ 1.5 m c/c is to be carried out on the slope/embankment where Geogrid reinforced Geocomposite made of Polypropylene Polymer is to be laid and also at the face of Woven Steel Mesh with welded wire panel system item number-01, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.
Re-Laying of Primiray Soil reinforcement/ Secondary Soil reinforcement in Retaining structure (rectification work to be executed as per site condition at a height of 19 m to 36 m from road /ground level) which is laid in vertical spacing of 1m. The each layer of Geogrid shall be laid in embankment at same level ensuring that no slack or undulation occur in Geogrid as it is laid. If these do occur they should be corrected immediately before proceeding. The structural back fill between each layer of soil shall be good quality, free draining granular soil. For the layer of structural fill to be laid just above and below the reinforcement (primary/secondary) the maximum particle size shall not exceed 40mm for a minimum compacted thickness of 200mm. Filling of soil in embankment in layer (each layer should not exced 20cm), including compacting each layer by ramming and watering, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (The quantity of soil,extra lift & Filling in embankment shall be paid in agreement item No-8,9&10 respectively)
Removing Gabion structure manually/ by mechanical means without dismembering Mechanically Woven Double Twisted Hexagonal Shaped Wire mesh Gabion Boxes and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in- charge.
