Provision of new road from main office to firing rage at Haft Chinar under GE 970 EWS

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means over area (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 Sqm in plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated to a earth lead upto 50m lift upto 1.5m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L soling (or sub base) 200mm thick (Spread thickness) with boulders (granite or trap or basalt stones) of size range 100mm to 50mm, deposited, spread, leveled in one layer, interstices filled, surface formed, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 10 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 150mm thick (Compacted thickness) water bound Macadam (WBM) in two layers 75mm thick each layer with coarse aggregates (granite, trap or basalt) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) spreading, compaction with 10 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10Kg per 10Sqm, using paving bitumen of grading VG-10, complete all as specified and directed.

M&Lbituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete (SDAC) 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with using 10 to 12 tonne power roller and laying with mechanical paver, complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (a) Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. (b) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from NABL laboratory as decided by GE. (c) Contractor shall quote his rates by considereing binder contents @ 5.5% of total mix by weight, however in case of any variation in weight of binder contents on lower side as per actual mix design, the same shall be adjusted @ Rs. 60.00 Per Kg of bitumen.

Making the dashes, arrows etc exc 10cm wide on road surfaces, using hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint 2.00 mm thick mixed with radium glass beads @ 250gm/sqm with automatic machine to provide reflectivity and night vision (approximate temperature being 200 degree at the time of laying) including cleaning the surface of all dirt and other foreign materials, demarcation at site and control complete all as specified and directed.

S&F cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PMMA stripplens reflector of model No DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S&F metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium type of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F polycabonate convex road safety mirror of size 800mm dia duly plastic framed back covered and provided with holding clamp arrangement having wide field of vision, exterior weather proof , bright reflection, anti glare and easy to maintain suitable for installing on blind curves over the wall or pole etc including round stand post 50mm dia made out of 1.65mm thick steel CRCA sheet of total length 2000mm having hold fast at the bottom and top end closed with MSD sheet painted with white synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide metal primer complete all as specified and directed.
