Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 11 KV, 630A, 20kA to 25kA for 3sec, SF6-Free / Solid Insulation, Motorized, Indoor, Non-Extensible RMU , type tested in line with latest IEC standards. The RMU shall be suitable for operations at a height up to 1000 meters above sea level and at 40 degree ambient temperature without any derating. The switchgear and busbar shall all be contained in a stainless steel enclosure filled with SF6-Free Gas/ Solid insulation. The RMU tank shall provide full insulation, making the switchgear insensitive to the environment with degrees of protection of IP67 . The switchgear operating mechanism shall have an IP4X protection and cable chamber shall have IP4X. Accidental overpressure due to an internal arc is limited by the opening of the safety valve, at the bottom of the metal enclosure, away from the operator. An operator situated in front, lateral and rear (A-FLR 20kA to 25kA – 1sec, downwards exhaust, for tank as well as cable compartment) of the RMU switchboard during an internal fault will not be exposed to the effects of arcing. Plug in type of extensibility must be provided and coupling busbar should not be exposed to air to avoid oxidation of busbars. All operations shall be from front of the RMU, including access to cable bushings. Cable bushings along the sides or the rear of the RMU are not acceptable. There shall be no toxic by-products generation due to breaking operations inside SF6-Free Gas /Solid insulation tank. No requirement of special processing of gas recovery at the end-of-life of product. The RMU shall be integrated with FRTU for SCADA connectivity & remote operations. For reliability & certainity of earthing operation, there shall be provision of earth switch contact visibility on the front LV box of RMU. -11kV, 4 Way Ring Main Units - A. Each of the above Ring Main Unit shall comprise of the followings: 1. Vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) each comprising of the following: - 4nos 2. 11 KV, 630A, 20KA for 3sec Motorized VCB with spring charged mechanism and series trip coil; with built in manual line side three position disconnector cum earth switch. Earthing should be completed within 3 operations only (i.e 1. Breaker - OFF; 2. Disconnector - OFF, 2. Earth switch - ON). Vaccuum interrupter should be of same make as that of RMU. The circuit breakers shall have 2 positions: open or disconnected and closed. A separate and independent 3 position earthing switch and disconnector shall be fitted to open and earth the cables in such way that interlocks prevent all unauthorized operations. An independent mechanism shall be fitted for the 3 positions earthing switch and disconnector. Circit breaker shall have a min of 10000 mechanical (M2). Disconnector and earthswitch shall have a min of 1000 (M1) mechanical operations. The earthing switch shall be fitted with its own operating mechanism and manual closing shall be driven by a fast-acting mechanism, independent of operator action. - 4Nos 3. Position indicator through clear front mimic in line with IEC 62271-103 - 4Nos 4.. Self powered relay with O/C , E/F protection. Relay should have a front USB port for laptop interface , LCD display ,10 event records, 5 fault records with time stamp, min 2 setting group and keypad for setting parameters for the relay. LBS shall have a min of 5000 (M2) mechanical operations , and 5 nos closing operations at rated SC current. Earth Switch shall have 1000 (M1) mechanical operations. LBS should have 100 electrical operations at rated current. Switching operation should not generate toxic by-products inside SF6-Free Gas tank. - 4 Nos 3.
