REPAIR RECTIFICATION OF DAY TO DAY COMPLAINTS OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION SUPPLY SYSTEM INCLUDING REPIRS REPLACEMENT OF LT DISTRIBUTION AT ZONE I C, BOWENPALLY UNDER AGE EM NO- I OF GE U SECUNDERABAD

M&L for attending, repair and rectification of external LT/HT electric supply compliants on 1100/11000 Volts grade, under ground / over head system alongwith necessary T&P, safety devices as per site requirement for the following type of compliants complete all as specified and directed:-

Replacement of LT blown out fuse as per existing capacity in any location upto 200 Amps.

Replacement of wornout jumpers, jointing and tightening with new ACSR conductor. Note:- Single phase/two wire or 3 phase/4 wire system will be considered as one job for payment purpose.

Trimming/prunning and removing of tree branches or any other forein objects from HT/LT over head conductor and clearing the OH Line of any type and size for one span of any length in 2 way /4 way/6 way conductor system. Notes: (i) Insulators of any type, connectors and ACSR conductor of any size required at site will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. (ii) The contractor is responsible for provision of necessary T&P and safety equipments to complete the job. (iii) Quoted rate is deemed to inclusive of Replacement of Insulators, Joining the ACSR Conductor, Jumpering and stringing the ACSR conductor etc.

Replacement of worn out Insulators of any type and size suitable for existing 1100/11000 Volts grade Line.. Note:- Insulators shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Disconnecting from over head conductor, cutting worn out portion of LT cables of any type and size, carry out repairs including taking out cables from under ground loop line and rejoining the same to restore electric supply. Notes:- (i) LT Jointing kits, XLPE Cables of any size, cable protection pipe if required at site will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of cutting and removing the Pole coping and inserting the cable along with protection pipes amd making good coping to match with original.

All as per item Sl No 1.05 above but from LT/HT switch gear/main switch board of any type and size including provision of suitable size of aluminium / copper cable lugs.

Replacement of rusted/ broken over head conductor of any type and length as required at site including removing of foreign objects if any from the over head lines. Notes:- (i) ACSR conductor used for replacement will be measured and paid under respective items. (ii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of trimming of tree branches up to 1.5 Mtr around the conductor.

Replacement of faulty LT switch gear of any type and size fixed in panel board pole mounted boxes on walls or any other indicated places including provision of lugs/thimbles of suitable sizes. Note: - Switch gears used for replacement will be issued under relevant items of this schedule.

Replacement of blown out DO fuse, 11 KV grade of any capacity. Notes: (i) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of Fuse wire of required gauge and necessary T&P required at site. (ii) No additional payments will be admissible for replacement of fuse in same system with in 24 hrs. (iii) Set of 3 fuses will be considered as one job for payment purpose.

Replacement of street light timers of any capacity, in any location. Note: Spares for repair of Street light timers or New timer switches will be measured and paid separately.

Taking down unserviceable Street light fittings in any position of any capacity, repair of street light fittings by replacement of unserviceable spares like Ballast/ HPSV lamp/MH lamp/CFL Lamp/Ignitor/ Capacitor etc and refixing the same in existing location. Note:- Spares for repair of street light fittings will be measured and paid under respective items.

Replacement of Energy meter of any capacity and any type. Note:- Energy meters will be issued under Sch 'B' free for fixing only.

Notes for Item Nos 1.01 to 1.12:- (a) The contractor will be alloted complaints at MES complaint cell on required basis on all working days and sufficient resources will be deployed by him/her for completion of day to day comaplaints within 24 Hrs from the time of reporting. Any delay beyond above mentioned time limit without intimation of sufficient cause, penalties will be recovered twice of the quoted rate for each un-attended complaint. (b) A detailed log of complaints with completion/non-completion remarks from users/MES will be maintained by the contractor and the same will be updated on daily basis in consulatation with Engr-in-Charge or JE E&M as detailed. (c) The contractor will make suitable arrangment for emergency complaints and will notify authorised rep/Engr-in-Charge about extraordinary circumstances for probable non-completion or delay in rectification of complaints beyond stated time limit set for disposal of complaint. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding in this regard.

(d) The contractor will intimate MES authority well in advance if electric shutdown is required during rectification of complaints. (e) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site around scattered Military station at Secunderabad. (f) The contractor will maintain location wise record of each spare utilized as per inventry format given by AGE E/M, Secunderabd and the same shall be submitted to E/M No I store on daily basis.

Supply only the following materials suitable for existing LT distribution system as in repairs/replacements complete all as specified and directed.

Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) conductor of any size for LT/HT over head line connections of squirrel/weasel/mink as per site requirement including provision of aluminium binding wire,using as jumpers etc.complete.

Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 100mm height, 65mm dia for 1100 volts grade.

Shackle type insulator, porcelain vitreous, white / brown / green, 1100 Volts grade, 75 mm height & 90 mm dia including galvanised mild steel strap of 31 x 3 mm, 12 mm dia insulator bolt, washers & nuts.

Loop type insulator porcelain vitreous white, brown or green with overall dimensions of 90 x 140 mm, clearance of hole 25.5 mm.

Single disc type insulator porcelain vitreous white, brown or green with overall dimensions of 145 mm hight and 225 dia, ball and socket type coloured single disc assembling for 11000 volts grade.

All as per item No 4 above but suitable for aluminium conductor cable of size from 120 sqmm, 3.5 Core to 185 Sqmm, 3.5 Core.

Labour only for Restreching/releasing the binding of ACSR conductor of LT / HT over head line from insulator, removing the jumper, connector, service wire, UG cable and restringing the existing ACSR conductor of any size, length, span upto desired sag and fixing the existing ACSR conductor on insulators by proper binding, jumper connection etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The distance between pole to pole in running meter (2/4/6 runs) i.e one span will be measured as one unit for payment purpose. (ii) Extra aluminium conductor requiured for jumpers and binding purpose is deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate. (iii) Trimming of tree branches upto 1.50 Mtrs distance around conductor is included in the unit rate quoted.

M&L for testing earthing of installations, buildings, equipments etc and treating of earthings by pouring salt water and submit results sheet to AGE E/M No-I complete all as specified and directed. Note: Contractor has to arrange necessary tools required for the job

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundation of PCC/Steel pole, laying of cable in trenches etc and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soils complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L filling approved river sand in trenches for sand cushioning of laying of cables to the full width of excavated trench 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm above the cable, gently punned down complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness of sand cushion after punning down shall be measured for payment.

Supply and Laying bricks, common burnt clay building bricks, sub class 'B' of size 230 x 115 x 75 mm laid across in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in coping/pedestals of poles including necessary form work complete and applying two coats of white wash to exposed surface of coping/platform complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete for pole / stay / post etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for stay assembly with all accessories as shown in Electrical Plate No 1 of SSR Part I (2009) with 16 mm dia stay rod and including 7/2.24 mm size stay strand and stay clamps including dismantling old unserviceable stay assembly complete all as specified and directed. Note : Loop type insulator, excavation, earth work and concrete shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule.

M&L cross arms, bracing supports clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section incl nuts, bolts washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shapes or size as directed including applying two coat of Ist quality aluminum paint over one coat of red oxide primer and fixed over Pole of any height and in any position as in replacement of old unserviceable cross arms etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of broken earth pit made out of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, 20 mm thick and earth pit cover made out of RCC 1:2:4 type B1, cover reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 100 mm centre to centre both ways with hook made out of 8 mm dia bar, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and including reconnecting of earth lead of any type with new nuts, bolts and washers etc as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting the existing LT steel poles of 9.0 Mtr long including cross arms, clamps, street light junction boxes etc with one coat of aluminium paint and cleaning the existing surface thoroughly, writing of pole numbers in yellow circle 15 cm with black paint on poles and painting the poles up to 1.5 Mtr height with alternate bands 30 cm height (3 Nos black and 2 Nos Yellow) with one coat of acrylic paint above coping complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting the existing LT PCC poles of 9.0 Mtr long with one coat of acrylic paint including cleaning the existing surface thoroughly and painting of cross arms, clamps, etc with one coat of aluminium paint and providing alternative band of 30 cm width (3 black and 2 yellow) from bottom of pole to 1.5 metres height with acrylic paint, writing of pole numbers in yellow circle15 cm with black paint on poles complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, errecting and fixing steel tubular swaged poles with cast iron base plate of size 300mm x 300mm x 6mm, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws for type 410 SP-31 (9.0 metres long) including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of redoxide primer on all exposed surfaces and tarring with black bituminous paints to embedded portion in PCC and providing 3 Nos of 30cm wide circular bands with black & yellow paint starting from plinth level at a gap of 30 cm in between 2 bands and numbering of poles, in yellow paint over black painted back ground at a height of 2m from bottom of pole with 5 cm large bold letters 2" (inch) wide including taking down old unserviceable PCC/Steel poles of any type complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, earth work, PCC in foundation and coping shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

Repair/maintenance, excluding major spares but including regualr maintenance of the Automatic Power factor correction panel capacity up to 100 KVARs and up 8 stages installed at various locations at Bowenpally area including carrying out complete maintenance/repairs as required of all the sub systems viz. based control panels, feeder pillar, APFC relay, Power capacitor bank, Power contactors, Control wiring, Monitoring CT, MCBs/MCCBs for isolation (with all the accessoires) any breakdown maintenance and replacement of unserviceable parts, refixing of old serviceable parts/new parts if any project completion and trouble shooting responsibility also lies with contractor including following provisions complete all as specified and directed.

Notes:- (i) Rate quoted by tenderer is deemed to be inclusive of checking of system fortnightly, repavement of defective control wiring, small part such as Push button, lugs any auxilary contatct,auto selctor switch etc and necessary servicing repair by expert technician and register will be maintaned for the same. (ii) The scope of work includes the labour charges required for removing, repairing, refixing, carrying out electrical termination, capacitors bank, APFC relay, power contactor, contol CT, MCBs/MCCB and fixing/installing/testing and commissioning the complete system. (iii) Major Spare parts viz,capacitor banks, APFC relay, power contactor, control CT, MCBs/MCCB shall be measured and paid seperatly.

All as per item No 60 above but capacitor duty contactor, type MO C30. Make:- L&T Cat Part No CS96148 or equivalent make in Schneider/Legrand/Indo Asian.
