Checking and maintenance of street lights, high mast light of any height and any type of fittings HPSV/ HPMV/ MH/ Flood light/ Halogen light/ LED light fitting of capacity 40/ 60 watt/ 90watt/ 120watt/ 150 watt/ 200 watt etc. AC 230 volt any wattage from pole opening of all components, through cleaning including washing of perplex cover inspection for location of fault and replacing of defective spares/ parts required for smooth functioning, tightening of electric connections complete and making the fitting on 100% serviceable condition includes rectification of fault of street lights over head line and underground cables of any size complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) The contractor shall deploy minimum 01 No. electrician and 02 No. helper including Sundays & holidays for the purpose of repair of security lights on daily basis. Supervisor shall collect complaint slip from main power house and return after completion of complaint to concerned JE. (ii) All T&P/ safety items shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. (iii) The contractor’s quoted rate shall be deemed to include arrangement of bucket crane of suitable height or any other means required to rectify the complaints at height of 11/ 24m. Safety of the tradesmen employed shall be the responsibility of the contractor. (iv) Replacement of defective parts will be measured and paid for separately. However, cost of replacement of minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers etc. shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Supply and laying in replacement 50mm bore GI tubing light grade pipe with all fitting laid in trenches, fixed to wall etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix water proof ABS electric distribution box, wheather proof IP-65 protection suitable for outdoor use, pole mounted, factory made of size 300mm x 250mm x 150mm comprising one No. MCB SP 6 Amps, 240 volts SPN bus bar not less than 25mm x 5mm aluminium strip and fixing clamps of size 25mm x 5mm two nos including necessary nuts, bolts and locking arrangement with lock, pressure type, four Nos connection holes in each bus bar with nuts, bolts and washers made of galvanized iron and connection thimble etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for pole mounting bracket made out of 50mm dia GI light grade pipe, L-shape 1.2m long with 40mm x 5mm thick FI clamps, hole fasteners, nuts and bolts, including welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as directed suitable for fixing light fitting including two coats of aluminium paint fixed in replacement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for boring of holes under road, pavement, hardstanding etc. by any means for inserting GI/ CI/ HDPE pipe upto 100mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil n. exc. 1.5m deep and n. exc. 1.5m in width and getting out including forming bottom surface to required slope/ gradient for laying cables/ pipes etc. complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) Excavation shall be done carefully to avoid damage of existing cables and protection covers. (ii) Excavation work may be got carried out in short lengths for locating fault in under ground cables at different locations.

Returning filling in excavated soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers, each layer not exceeding 25mm thick in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated spoil n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to cables with a layer of sand 8cm thick before laying the cable and 15cm thick punned down after laying and stretching of cable) complete all as specified. (Punned thickness (overall 18cm) shall be measured & paid).

M&L old size sub class ‘B’ bricks for protection to cable laid flat abutting each other perpendicular to direction of cable direction complete all specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in coping of poles including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation old painted surfaces of LT steel poles 9.00m long and painting applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint in 30cm wide strips alternate in black and yellow colour upto 1.5 mtr height above puff and the remaining portion with one coat of aluminium paint and writing pole no on pole with white paint, complete all as directed at site all as specified and directed.

Site clearance including cutting of grass/ trimming of all bushes/ small trees upto a height of 10 feet in surrounding areas of perimeter security lights, E/M installations, panels, bus bar chambers etc. including sprinkling of herbicide solution as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling old earthing and providing new earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mmx 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanised iron strip of size 25mm x 4mm by means of bolts, nut check nuts and washers earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40mm bore (light grade) connected to test point all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR - 2009 (Part-I) and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20mm bore medium grade GI pipe for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, pit cover of precast RCC (1;2:4), type B-1 reinforced XPM of weight not less than 4 Kg/ Sqm and MS frame etc. complete & connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including brazing/ testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.
