Consultancy for Soil Investigation for AWP works Provision of AED/ALD hangar and allied facilities at ICGAS Ratnagiri

I. Mobilisation & Demobilisation (a) Making necessary arrangements for mobilisation & Demobilisation of equipment , tools & plant, personnel etc required for soil investigation and their removal after satisfactory completion of work inland including slushy areas. Note:The rate includes errecting the setup at first borehole location. [Qty : 01 Nos] (b) Shifting of entire arrangement from one borehole to another borehole location and setting of boring/drilling rig as required. [Qty : 11 Nos] II FIELD TESTS (a) Boring 150mm dia boreholes to 6m depth as per IS 1892 through following any type of Strata by using rotary drill method in terms of IS : 1892 as shown on site plan (i) Boring and collection of disturbed samples from boring as per the above II(a) upto 12.00M depth from GL [Qty : 12 Nos] (ii) Collection of undisturbed soil sample (UDS) at 3.0 m intervals or at any change of stratas in 100mm bore in walled tube including waxing, sealing, packing and transporting to the lab (iii) Carrying out standard penetration test (SPT) including collection of disturbed soil samples in boreholes at every 1.5M depth or change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data. (iv) Collecting water samples from the bottom boreholes.

III LABORATORY TESTS AS PER IS: 1892 (a) Conducting necessary laboratory tests as per relevent IS Codes on all collected samples which includes the determination of (for all 12 Nos Bore holes) (i) Atterburg limits (ii) Natural moisture content (iii) Wet and dry density (iv) Soil/Particle size using sieve hydrometer analysis (v) Tri-axial shear test C&D (vi) Shrinkage limit (vii)Consolidation test (viii) Specific gravity test (ix) Crushing strength of rock samples,degree of weathering(CR Value) and ROD of rock samples (x) Permeability test (xi) Chemical analysis on soil samples (xii) Chemical analysis on water samples (xiii) Standard and modified proctor density test (xiv) Vane shear test (xv) Salinity test (xvi) Grain size analysis,identification & classification of soil (xvii) Liquid limit, plastic limit, shrinkage limit, plasticity index, Swell pressure, Free Swell Index. (xviii) Shear parameters(C-Phi analysis) (xix) Depth of water table below ground level

(vi) Recommendations regarding type of foundation to be adopted & net SBC/recommendation of SBC for raft foundation at suitable depth to be adopted shall be given. (vii) Recommendations shall be given regarding type of foundation to be adopted and net SBC/ pile capacities to be adopted be given. VI DETAILS OF BLDGS (48x48x15m) (a) Hangar Bldg - (48x48x15m) (b) Annexe Bldg both side - 2(48x7.50m) (G+2) (c) Dispersal area - 7500 Sqm (d) Covered parking - 400 Sqm Note :- (i) Complete Report is to be vetted from IIT/NIT/Govt Engg. College. (ii) The work is very urgent, no extension will be granted in any case.
