Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil not exc 1.5 m deep and n.exc 1.5 mtr wide for laying of cable,etc and getting out complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches exceeding 1.5m depth and not exc. 3.0m wide and getting out in soft/loose soil getting out complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in earth including spreading leveling and well ramming excavated soil in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer, back in trenches after cable have been laid & tested,poles,stairs,struts have been erected & tested complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing of surplus soil (soft/loose) obtained from excavation to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of fine sand 8 cm thick before laying of cable and 5 cm thick after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) Excavation and earth work to be measured and paid separately). (ii) Thickness of 18 cms after punning shall be considered for payment.

Material and labour for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in foundation for stay set /Pole/ FPB etc including fair finish even and fir to exposed surfaces without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing GI pipe bracket for street light fittings made out of 40 mm dia GI pipe medium grade 1.2 mtr long bent to required angle/shape with and 2xpair of MS clamps made out 40mmx5mm MS flat iron bolts,nuts complete including two coat of synthetic enamel paint (first grade) over a coat of red oxide complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and errecting prestressed concete poles 9.00 mtrs long of cross section 102mm X 152 mm at top and 102mm X 289mm at bottom class 10complying with requirements of IS-1678-1978 including paints of poles in strips upto 1.5 metre from PCC block with two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:-Pole Number to be marked on each pole.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanized steel plate elecrode of size 60 cm x 60cm x 6.3 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.5 mtr below the ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level. Earth plate surrounded by 15mm thick packed alternative layers of charcoal dust and comman salt, earth lead GI wire of 4mm dia (8 SWG) by means of bolts , nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron with thimbles. The other end of GI earth wire is connected to main switch board and protected by light grade GI pipe of 15 mm bore. provision of 20mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering including GI funnel and wire mesh. Pipe shallbe provided vertically upto top level of earth pit and then taken horrizontally to the earth pit. Cement concrete chamber of PCC ( 1:3:6 ) type C-2using 40 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning factory made, Street Light panel board cubical, Outdoor type, floor mounted double door, 3 phase 4 wire, 50 cycles, 415 Volts.The panel board shall be made of 3.15 thick CRCA sheet (Min size 0.6 m x 0.6 m x 0.45 m ) with Synthetic enemal Paint both side. Base frame of the panel shall be made of angle iron of size 50 x50 x 6mm of upto 1/2 mtr hight from GL& 1/2 mtr for Below GL in PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm stone aggregates comprising of following:- The panel board shall be suitable for AC, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire supply complete with and comprising of the following:- (i) Epoxy insulated common aluminium bus bar of capacity 200 Amp TPN each with Color Coding , including aluminium lugs to connect the cable. (ii) MCCB 4 Pole, 415 V, Adjustable type, 63 Amps with breaking capacity 16 KA-01 No (For main Incomming ) Make:- C&S Electric, Siemens, Schneider, Legrand. (iii)MCCB 4 Pole, 415 V, Adjustable type, 32 Amps with breaking capacity 16 KA-02 No ( Outgoing) Make:- C&S Electric, Siemens, Schneider and Legrand.

Earthing complete with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode size 600mm x 600mm x 6.3 mm thick buried directly in ground (Preferably in vertical position) earth pit not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less 1.5 metre (BGL) connected to galvanized iron earth strip 32 x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nut and washer of galvanized iron including PCC pit in RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, precast RCC cover with suitable handle, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 50mm bore “medium grade” galvanized iron water tubing fixed with cast iron funnel and wire mesh and 50 mm bore “light grade” galvanized iron protection pipe for earth strip 32 x6 mm upto 5m length, charcoal, common salt, complete all as shown in EP No 1 of SSR 2009 Part-I, connected to test point complete, all as specified and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed.
