INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL SMART PERIODICAL SERVICES TO OTM AND MD ACCN AT SHILLONG UNDER GE SHILLONG

Complete removal of existing treatment on wall/ roof projections including facia, cornices etc by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) with sanding pad of appropriate grit to make surface clean, free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for single component polymer modified repair mortar with compressive strength minimum 38 MPA at 28 days (ASTM C 109:99) and tensile strength minimum 2.5 Mpa (ASTM C 307) up to 15mm in a single coat @ 34 kg per sqm for 15mm thickness as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) The work pertaining to periodical services & Water Proofing shall be executed from authorized applicator through manufacturer of which the materials i.e paint, distemper, putty etc is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by GE. (b) Cost of scafolding upto 10m hight of building is included in this item (c) The contractor shall upload along with the documents under cover-1. Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with only one manufacturer mentioned in the contra the failing which the bid shall be liable to be rejected (d) 05 years guarantee of painting work will be admissible after date of completion and 15% amount will be reserve against painting work after date of completion for the 05 years.

Material and labour for waterproof cement based putty @ 1 Kg (undiluted) per sqm of average thickness 1 mm over the plastered/old painted wall after scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 Grit or above to make the surface free from dust etc. by skilled labour as per following steps:- Step 1) Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer's instructions and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute. Step 2) Apply the first coat of the prepared mix with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minutes with a maximum pressure 3300 PSI. Step 3) Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface. NOTES :- (a) The work pertaining to periodical services & Water Proofing shall be executed by authorized applicator through manufacturer of which the materials i.e. Paint, Distemper, Putty etc. is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by GE. (b) The cost of scaffolding upto 10m height of building shall be included in the quoted rate. (c) The contractor shall upload MOU letter with any one of manufacturer and also with their authorised applicator mentioned in the tender alongwith their bid in cover-I failing which his bid will be rejected. Authorised applicator shall have valid authorisation letter from the manufacturer (Minimum regional HQs) and shall have been issued not less than 30 days from the date of commencement of the work. The authorisation letter needs to be valid for the complete period of execution of the painting work. (d) After preparation of the surface, Engr-in-Charge shall approve the same before applying primer and finishing coats. (e) Building wise stage passing register shall be maintained and shall be signed by Engr-in-Charge and contractor. (f) The equipments to be used in the work shall be certified by the manufacturer with whom the MOU been entered into. (g) Contractor shall submit approved company generated 05 years warranty card at the time of submission of RAR & Final Bill. 15% amount of this item will be retained in FB for a period of 05 years from the certified date of completion. (h) Masking of windows / doors during spray painting using polythene film is inluded in the quoted rates. (j) Cleaning and clearing of site of painting, mats etc after completion of work is included in the quoted rate.

M&L for applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less tham 50 gm/ltrs and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, alkali and fungal resistanxe dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade with silicon additives @1.43 ltrs/10sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @0.90 ltrs/10 sqm over new surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Note : - Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500 - 2700 rpm, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer. Material and labour for two coats of water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additive & Colour stay Technology, Excellent Dirt Pick up resistance with low VOC less than 50 gram/ litre as per the LEEDS specifications, Anti Algae properties in two coats @ 1.79 ltr (undiluted)/ 10 sqm diluted with water as per manufacturer instructions applied over priming coat with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of minimum 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in both the coats of paint complete all as specified and directed. Taking down cement plaster, any description, on brick or stone walls, etc.including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc. including removal of rubbish material away from site, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 15 mm thick cement plaster on fair faces of bricks/ concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:6 including plastered surfaces shall be finished even & smooth without using extra cement all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plastering 15 mm thick (in two layers of 10mm and 5mm thk) on fair faces of brick wall or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 with water proofing compound as per manufacturer's printed instruction finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) The cost of scaffolding is included in this item.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.
