CERTAIN REPAIR TO PATHOLES, PATCHES, CARPETING AT CERTAIN LOCATION AT AF STN AWANTIPUR

Material and labour for repairs to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. making good by applying tack coat 5 kg/ 10 Sqm putting in premix bitumen macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 Kg / 10 Sqm blind with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing existing black top surface using mechanical brooms and removing the dust/foreign particles/caked mud including scrapping off paints of any description by using suction in built to the mechanical brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces by gunny bags to remove all lose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat with VG-10 grade paving bitumen @ 5.00 Kg per 10 Sqm with the help of Mechanical Sprayer over the old bituminous surface complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 3 above but @2.50kg of paving bitumen per 10 Sqm over newly laid BM surfaces

M&L for 75mm consolidated thickness premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder content by the wt of total mix of VG-30 grade bitumen paving bitumen any penetration laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less and compacted thickness 50mm) complete all as specfied and directed.

M&L for 40mm thick compacted thickness Bituminious premix asphaltic semi dense concrete using 5.5% binder content by the wt of total mix of VG-30 grade paving bitumen paving bitumen any penetration, laid using mechanical pavers and vibratory rollers of appropiate specifications, spread rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.Note for Sl Item No 6 above :- The bitumen binder shall be added as per mix design.The contractor shall have no claim if the bitumen content worked out in the mix design is more than 5.5% by weight of the total mix.However deduction shall be made if less bitumen is used than specified in CA provision.

Material and labour for pre mixed sand seal coat with 0.06 Cum of sand mixed with 6.80 Kg of bitumen,applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
