REPAIRS TO CERTAIN ROADS ALONGWITH FURNITURE AND ROAD MARKING IN THE AREA OF AGE BR II UNDER GE MIS MHOW

M&L for Scarifying or picking up gravelled,macadam or bituminous macadam in area not exceeding 400 Sqm, depth exc 50mm but not exceeding 100mm by using power machinery or by hand picking tools carefully without damaging existing road surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) water bound macadam (WBM), with Granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated with 8-10 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing WBM surface with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. and sweeping the surface with brooms and finally fanning to clean the surface with mechanical Air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a prime coat with bituminous sprayer using paving bitumen VG-30 at the rate of 10 Kg/10 Sqm on WBM surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for preparation of old black top bituminous surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. Sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical Air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-30 at the rate of 5 Kg/10Sqm on black top surface and M&L for bituminous premix Ashphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30, mixed by using hot mix plant and laid with Mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with vibratory /pneumatic /tandom power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Note1 : Cement shall be used as filler at mininum 2% by weight of total mix in event of variation in design mix the percentage of filler content shall be on plus side adopted. (b)SDAC shall be as per MORTH specification Note2: - (i) Laying shall be done by means of self-propelled mechanical paver, finishing with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls with suitable speed and capable of laying, spreading, tamping and finishing. (ii) Mix shall be obtained from computerized hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver only) (iii) The mix shall be designed by job mix formula and approved by GE. (iv) Cost of testing charges, materials and transportation etc for job mix formula and Independent testing during execution of work shall be inclusive in the unit rate quoted and no extra payment shall be made on this account.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), with using 4% binder content by weight of total mix with paving bitumen of grade VG-30 penetration, mixed by using hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using vibratory /penumatic/tandem power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour fo repair to pot holes not exceeding 1 sqm area including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surface in road,path etc cutting around edges at least 30mm in depth & making good by filling in ,screened and graded road metal,watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and making good by applying tack coat @ 10 Kg/10 Sqm ,Grade paving bituminous binder,complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position etc removal from site up to 500M complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8), type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggraegate as in foundation ,mass concrete and filling complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 80 mm thick Machine pressed precast interlocking paver block (glossy finished) any shape and size as approved by GE conforming to IS 15656-2006, M-40 grade with grey cement and pigment dry & joints filled with fine sand complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Stone dust shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items)

M & L stone dust under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation spreading and levelling in layers n. exc 30mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing precast cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using (20mm graded stone aggregate) as in kerbs and edging to road divider and footpath etc including necessary earthwork with plain fair faces incl chamfered wheathering throating etc and setting in cement mortar (1:4) complete with joints to match complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for two coats synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer including preparation of newly brick or concrete surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth, not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for one coat synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer including preparation of old brick or contrecte surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation not exceeding 15cm deep, getting out and removing to a distance not exceeding 50m in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for laying for moorum / Red bajri filling in floor,berms,etc laid in layers, spread,levelled including watering and rolled and consolidating to gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for making lines, dashes,arrows,letters etc not exceeding 15 cm wide on bituminous surface with retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint with reflector sing glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area confirming to MOST & BIS specification, not less than 2.00 mm thick of white/golden/yellow as approved colour/shade and applied with machine, as per manufacturer's instruction including preparation of surfaces i.e cleaning of surface by removing all dust,dirt,oil grease etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair Cat Eye as (Road Stud) two way reflective type of aluminium alloy body of size 110mm x 120mm x 24mm and weight of 435 gms in Red, Amber or white in colour fixed with and including all necessary items as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.
