M & L for water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab, including parapet comprising of following courses of treatment/specification from bottom to top:- (i) Taking out old roof treatment and roughening the old concrete surface by picking, sweeping cleaning and washing down with water to remove dust etc. and removing debris to a distance not exceeding 250m. (ii) Cleaning of concrete roof surface and applying one coat of cold bituminous primer @ 0.25 litre /Sqm conforming to IS:3384-1986. (iii) Supply & laying APP based polymeric membrane 3mm thick (minimum), weighing 3.5 Kg/sqm reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (weighing not less than 160 gms/Sqm) over bituminous primer as specified above. Application of polymeric membrane shall be done by torch application. The overlaps shall be minimum 100mm on the transverse direction and 75mm on longitudinal direction. Note:- 1. The Work of laying membrane shall be got executed through authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane and same shall be approved by GE. 2. Purchase vouchers of the membrane and chemicals shall be produced from authorised dealer of the manufacturer before claiming any payment for the item.

M&L for applying one coat of aluminium paint over the APP modified membrane @ 0.11Kg/sqm after preparation of surfaces complete

M&L for 22 mm thick plain cement concrete tiles (confirming to IS) of size 250x250mm or 300mmx300mm laid over a bedding layer of 15mm screed in cement mortar 1:4 & jointing with neat cement slurry. Joints shall be 4mm wide and sealed with 2mm deep epoxy compound complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 25mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate using WPC @ 200ML per bag of cement or as per manufacturers instructions, as in levelling course as in roof padding/slope layer finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound.

M&L for providing and applying a flexible expansion joint membrane minimum 150mm wide and 1mm thick, expoband one (Expoband H45) of Fosroc or equivalent over the prepared joint using a two part epoxy adhesive nitobond PC 40 of Fosroc or equivalent. The minimum tensile strength of the membrane should be more than 12 N/mm2 and elongation at break should be more than 400%. The installation of the membrane should be carried out as per manufacturers specification and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Pre- painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness complete as specified and directed.

M & L for providing and applying three coats of brushbond roofguard manufactured by fosroc or equivalent product of SIKA, single component acrylic polymer modified reinforced high build water proofing compound after priming on the roofs, to get a minimum dry thickness of 1mm as per manufacturers specification. No toping required over the grading. The cured membrane should exhibit the tensile strength of 1.1 Mpa as per ASTM D412 with elongation 100% as ASTM D12, with very low penetration to rapid chloride as per ASTM C 1202-03, with pull off adhesion 0.92 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cutting opening in cement concrete walls for pipe encasing(any description) for taking out rain water pipe and fittings or enlarging existing opening, including trimming surfaces to receive rendering etc with or without reinforcement complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks etc. including cleaning or refixing or removal to store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories) complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes, single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to walls with and including MS/PVC clamps complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes, single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) bend any radius as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roof or terracing, cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 (by weight) complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks of capacity 500 litres setting aside for repairs, cleaning etc and hoisting and reconnecting and re-fixing in position complete all as directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks of capacity 1000 litres setting aside for repairs, cleaning etc and hoisting and reconnecting and re-fixing in position complete all as directed.

Taking down temporarily, setting aside and refixing 20 mm bore steel tubing with connections or fittings in existing positions from wall, ceiling, floor etc complete all as specified.
