M&L for cleaning and removing all corrosion scales , rust , etc using emery / wire brush and finally cleaning using rust remover & cleaning agent that is one part alkaline based material, with corrosion inhibitors and dispersing agents and supplied as a clear brown solution. The specific gravity shall be 1.2 – 1.22 @ 25°C. The pH value shall be between 9.5 to 10 and the coverage shall be 5 – 6 m2/ L as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for repair to cracks and damaged existing surfaces of sump by Hydrogen Free Expanding And Plasticising Additive . It plasticizes the mix, allowing for substantial reduction in water without affecting the fluidity, thus improving the strength and impermeability, the admixture/ additive in cement to provide non‐shrink properties Cementitious Cable Encapsulation . (a). Fixing of pvc nozzles in zig-zag fashion not more than 50cm c/c on RCC surfaces on all directions as required after drilling holes in concrete, fixing pvc nozzles with fast setting mortar and covering with renderoc plug. M&L for applying 2 coats of two component solvent free , moisture insenstive epoxy resin coating it should achieve Compressive Strength of >70 MPa after 14days, having pot life Pot life, minutes at 27⁰C, 100 g >40 mass.The product shall have a minimum pot life of 120 Min at 35°C and an open time of atleast 4-6 Hours @ 30°C.It shall develop a minimum compressive strength of 40 MPa and a bond Strength of 11 MPa.Before applying coating surface should be cleaned from dirt, fungus and all foreign material as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for providing and fixing welded MS wire mesh weighing not less than 1Kg/Sqm of size 50mmX50mm of 2.6mm dia on the prepared surface & surface should be cleaned and be removed from dirt, fungus and all foreign material complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for applying 2 coats of primer slurry prior to the application of the repair mortar having multiple corrosion inhibiting synergies and which is a blend of pc graded fillers corrosion inhibiting additive and re-dispersible polymers in powder form mixed with water for application by brush to coat the reinforcement/steel within 10mm of the finish surface and where chlorides are present so as to achieve adhesion bond strength of 1 MPa to steel. Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising of 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 08 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor along with the sample approval

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

Material and labour for Attending day to day water supply service related complaints like choking of rising main pipes of buildings, blockage in control valves/ float valves/ pipe fittings, etc, applying necessary engineering efforts like by dismantling of pipes and fittings to clean and remove blocking objects, descaling of pipes and re-fixing of pipes on wall etc to restore the proper flow of water to service tanks all as specified and directed .

Note :- (a) The contractor has to attend above mentioned job in any location of entire AFTC, 2DC Area & AFS Jalahalli

(b) The service tanks are positioned on roof top of multi storied buildings upto three storey. Contractor is responsible to ensure that the labour employed should be equipped with safety items like industrial helmet, safety belt, extensible ladder of 40 feet length, plumbing and cuttings tools, etc.

(c) The cost of rethreading upto GI pipes of 25mm dia and adding of new GI nipple of suitable length after rethreading is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(d) Due to shortage of water in the station, the repair work and testing required under this item need to be carried out during water supply distribution hours i.e. 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Nothing extra shall be permitted in this regard.

(e) The cost of repair to the damages of cemented surfaces/ external finishes/ metal clamps of rising pipes are also deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(f) In case of any delay in attending the complaint for more than 6 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(g) If the delay is more then 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 100/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 7 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(h) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Taking down defective open well submersible pump set 5 HP 7.5 HP to by disconnecting the pump from motor after unscrewing nuts/ bolts of coupling, foundation, suction pipe delivery pipes and shifting of pump to workshop for repair/ servicing, comprising strip opening of pump, replacement of any defective parts, carrying out necessary lathe work, re-assembling and shifting from workshop to site, re-installation at location as directed by Engr-in-Charge, testing on full load capacity at least for 8 hrs, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) The spares shall be measured and paid seperately in the relevent items given below. Taking out silt, liquid water sludge in solid/semi solid state / pumping out all mud sewage water from collection sump of size 5 M dia and 4 mtrs depth /Manholes STP tanks of any capacity and size and removing the same using truck mounted honey sucker of capacity minimum 4 cum and to dispose off the sludge in low lying area at any distance during Sunday and holiday as per requirement, depositing the sludge in low laying area with covering by earth over it and leaving the collection sump clean etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 415 :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting his rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be included for :- (i) Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground leve around collection sump. Useful material shall be stacked.

(ii) De-watering by high presure submersible pump complete.

(iii) Removal of sludge & sand from inside the tank scrubbing and washing side walls and bottom with bleaching powder solution and making surface free from any fungus, deposited stains using wire brush filling of cavities inside of tank with CM 1:2 mortar.

(iv) cleaning of walls , flooring and ceiling with special mechanized high pressure jet machines by high pressure jet pum 80-180 bar pressure , which dislodges the layer of dirt, algae, fungus stuck on its surface usage of scrubbing machines for old stains.

(v) Anti-Bacterial Treatment of Inside of the tank should be treated with specially developed 4 ft long ultraviolet Radiator to kill further floating bacteria/virus in order to make the tank totally clean, bacteria free and safe for storage of drinking water.

(vi) Cleaing/ above operations shall be executed by trained workers and technicians only.

(vii) Cost of T&P like rods, bamboos, gum shoes and hand gloves etc complete.

(viii) Driver and operator must be in possession of a valid licence and confirm the serviceability of the Truck/ machinery.

(ix) Removal of blockage of sewage lines up to one metre from collection sump including manholes by using necessary tools/ mechanically tools or manually such as passing rope knots, bamboo kamti and disc of required size including safety measures such as test for gas etc. before flushing the pipe well with water after removal of blockage of pipe complete all as specified and directed.

(x) Tank shall be made available for cleaning for a period of 8 hours only and contractor has to arrange sufficient labour/ T&P to complete the job with in the given period only. or otherwise penality shall be imposed @ Rs 500/- per day.

Disconnecting electric connection and taking out submersible sewage cutter pump set of capacity 10 HP, 3 Phase, 415 volt from sewage well, transport to the workshop and back after making it serviceable/ repair, dismantle the motor/pump, taking out burnt winding of stator, removal of burnt insulation material from the slot, cleaning the stator slots and M&L for rewinding the stator using super enamelled, submersible grade coper winding wire of same gauge and turns, cleaning and overhauling the pump, tightening impeller complete including replacing the following unserviceable spares, reinstall the pump in original position and testing at full load capacity all as specified and directed .
