Material and labour providing for surface excavation in road berm/shoulder soil not exceeding 30 centimeter deep and averaging 15 centimeter deep including getting out etc complete, all as specified and directed.

Material and labour providing for 15 centimeter compacted thickness layer of soling in sub base on roadsides with sandstone broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required, complete, all as specified and directed.

Material and labour providing for 10 centimeter compacted thickness layer of Water Bound Macadam (WBM) in sub base and base course on roadsides with sandstone coarse aggregate of grading 1 (90 to 40 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required, including forming of clay puddle bounds (retaining fillets) on edges of spread aggregate complete, all as specified and directed.

Material and labour providing for preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt from unsurfaced Water Bound Macadam surface complete, all as specified and directed.

Material and labour providing for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-30 grade), at the rate of 5.0 kg per 10 square meter, over the prepared surfaces by mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour providing for applying premix bituminous macadam with binder content (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) of 4% by weight of total mix, laid by mechanical paver finished surface and rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to achieve the required compactness, camber and gradient, mixed in hot mix plant, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour providing for applying bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder of paving bitumen VG-30 grade, content by weight of total mix including cement filler on surfaces, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tone capacity power roller to achieve the required compactness camber and gradient, mixed in hot mix plant using design mix and laid by mechanical paver finished and complete all as specified and directed. Note for item No 7: (i) The actual binder content used shall be as per optimised content based on approval of job mix formula irrespective of whatever indicated in Sch 'A'. (ii) Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only @ Rs. 45,000/- per MT of binder/ bitumen minus (without considering the permissible tolerance on mines side) with reference to binder content indicated in Sch 'A'. (iii) No price adjustment for bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side.

Providing and laying Thermoplastic road marking in centre /edge on zebra crossings on Bituminous road with hot applied Retro-reflective thermoplastic paint (Make CMS, Asian or equivalent) confirming to MORT&H Specification Clause 803.4.2.1 & 4.2.2 in white/yellow colour in 100 mm./150 mm. width of 2.5 mm Thickness with Machine. Superimposed with Drop-on Glass beads confirming to BS-6088 and MORT&H specification clause 803.4.3.3 .The glass beads shall be applied as per MORT&H specification including labour, material, machine, T&P etc. Required for proper completion of work as per MORTH specification clause 803. The Contractor shall be required, on demand by the office, to provide test certificate for Thermo plastic road marking paint and Glass beads, at his own cost.

Material and labour providing for laying of 10 centimeter compacted thickness of Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface

Providing and fixing of precast PCC paver inter locking blocks 80mm thick of size 20cm x 12cm to 25cm x 12cm of the shape as directed by the Engineer in Charge, confirming to IS-15658-2006casted in Design Mix of 1:1:2 M-25 type Mix and made up in 2 layers of M-25 Mix through hydraulic type paver making machine with vibrators fixed in it, machine pressed precast concrete rubber moulded, blocks. The minimum compressive strength required of the blocks is 250kg./CM2 and Such blocks be laid over a bed of average 20mm thick fine sand bed including all type of labour, material, transportation, loading/ unloading, octroi charges, all tools/ plants vibrator etc. required for proper completion of the work at the site but terracotta/ red / yellow colour or any other coloured PCC interlocking tiles.
