SECTION A (On Hilly Area) Providing, supplying "JCB" loader cum excavator, including operator and helper for executing the work like excavation, grading, levelling, debris cleaning and other works all as directed by Project Engineer as and whenever required. Note: 1. The rate shall be inclusive of Machine, Fuel, Operator, Driver, Helper and other consumables etc. The contractor is required to engage skilled driver / Operator possessing valid driving license (For JCB/Excavator/Loader). 2. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision is final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. Page 3 of 5 RemarksSr.No Description of Item Estimated Rates -2023-2024 Including GST Estimated Rates for Hills-2023-2024 Including GST Unit 3. The cost of POL, maintenance of vehicle including replacement of parts, fuel, etc., wages of driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by contractor and BARC shall have no liability towards usage of the vehicle. 4. The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, including Goods & Service taxes (GST). 5. In and exit time at North gate/south gate of BARC shall be strictly considered for billing / measurements / payments. Log book duly countersigned by Engineer InCharge to be maintained. 6. Breakdown hours and lunch break timing shall not be considered for the payments. 7. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at time of preparing the bill. 8. BARC being a strategic Organisation, all the operators, drivers should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification Certificate, Driving licenses and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English 9. Cost of damages to any Government movable/ immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the contractor. 10. The contractor shall follow all security rules & regulations of BARC issued from time to time and no claim, whatsoever, will be entertained in this regard. 11. The driver and the labourers shall work as per the instructions given by the departmental Officers. 12. Advance intimation will be given to the contractor about the requirement. 13. The contractor shall take the signature of the departmental authorities on duty completion slip daily after completion of the work. 14. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to contractor persons while executing the job. 15. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra.
Dismantling plain cement concrete manually / by mechanical means carefully without damaging adjacent structures including disposal of debris within 200 m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge
Demolishing Stone rubble masonry (In cement mortar) manually / by mechanical means carefully without damaging adjacent structures including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 100 m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Raking out joints in brick work / RR masonry work in cement mortar and preparing the surface for re-pointing or replastering including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 200 metres lead.
Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismantling and stacking within 100 m lead .
Supplying, stacking and laying of 230 mm thick rubble soling stones as under floor base including packing with smaller stone and compacting, ramming including spreading and consolidation of blinding material, moorum etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge .
Providing and constructing Random Rubble masonry using approved Rubble stone in super structure (above plinth) in C.M 1:6 (using crushed sand) including raking out joints or simultaneous flush pointing above ground level / plinth level and up to and including 20 m height including scaffolding, curing etc. complete as per drawings and specifications.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:2:4/ M-15 with minimum cement content 320 Kg/Cum (1 cement, 2 crushed sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specification and drawings but excluding the cost of Formwork shuttering, centering and steel reinforcement at all Levels .
Extra for RCC/PCC Using Ready Mix Concrete from outside project area including transporting and pumping from approved batching plants. Note:- (i) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements, concrete admixtures (Naphthalene / Melamine based super plasticizers) shall be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for these items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete.Note:-Retention of slump for piling work shall be 150 mm after two hours.
Providing Structural steel work using angles, channels, joists and other sections, welded and / or bolted in built up sections for trusses , structural steel floors, frame works, monorails and other structures including supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of approved steel primer etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.Up to and including 300 mm Joists, 350 mm channels, and below sections Using materials confirming to IS 2062. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials.
Providing , centering ,shuttering Form work using PVC film faced plywood to get a neat form finish surface for all types of structures including necessary strutting, proping, staging, supports etc and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all levels.
For Super Structure
Providing 20 mm thick plastering using Ready mix External Plastering compound for External faces of brickwork / concrete surfaces including preparation of the surface, curing, cleaning scaffolding up to 10 metres height complete. all as per specificationsand as directed at site by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : Tentative / suggested make for guidance of bidder(s) : ROOFIT / FAIRMATE / WALPLAST or equivalent.
Providing and fixing SS concertina coil of 610mm +/- 50 mm Steel Tape dia. made from Material SS 304 as per IS 6911 /1992 Blade Thickness: 0.5 mm +/- 0.02 mm, Core Wire Diameter: 2.5 MM +/- 0.05 mm as per IS 4454 Core wire: Material SS 304 Tensile Strength of wire: 1400-1500 N/sq.mm (Fish Hook Razor), SS strip barb width of 31mm and each barb length of 66 mm and uniform gap between sharp barbs is 100 mm , 50mm Type of Clip stretching the coil to 6 m with approximate Weight per coil: 12.27 Kg (+/- 5%) per coil ( No of SS clips per coil is 125 and no of SS clips per Spiral pair is 5 nos.), fixing the coil with clips between "Y" armed and MS angle posts / RCC post 2.50 -3.00 m high from ground level, including supplying and fixing suitable clips etc. complete as per manufacturer's specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Bidder shall obtain approval of Engineer in charge before procurement of materials with necessary test certificates.
Providing and fixing Stainless steel Barbed wires using SS 304 Grade over RCC post/ M.S angles placed at required distance, using Stainless steel 304 Grade including long " J" hook fixed while fixing over the cement concrete/MS post etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. With Stainless steel 304 Line wire – Diameter : 2.50 +/- 0.05 mm, Tensile strength : 1450-1650N/Sq mm., Barb Wire diameter : 2 mm +/- 0.02 mm, Tensile Strength : 1450-1650N/Sq mm. ,Barbing Pitch : 100mm, No. of Ply : 1 Barb, Type : 4 point IOWA Style, Roll Length: 200m, Weight / Roll : 22.12Kgs (+/- 5%) grade barbed wire 12 swg ( 2.50mm 2 ply line wire & barbs with 2.50 mm thick wires. Complete as per IS 1278. : Payment to be made in weight for total length of barbed wire used only.
Providing and Painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade over a primer coat.including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing & supplying of Pick-up Van / Utility Van for various areas for the requirements arising from time to time inside and outside BARC. The Pick-up Van / Utility Van of minimum five seaters capacity with the back side provision for transporting/ shifting of various construction / maintenance materials, machinaries and tools etc. and for other works including Driver as assigned and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (8Hrs. a day or 60 km max as per certification of Engineer-in-Charge). Conditions: 1. The above rates shall be inclusive of cost of supply of Pick-up Van / Utility Van, Fuel, wages of Drivers and other consumables etc. 2. The Reporting time at the place of duty / as instructed by EIC shall be considered for the billing / measurement / payment. 3. In case the pick up van is parked inside BARC premises then the reporting time of the driver to EIC shall be considered for the billing/ measurement/ payment. 4. Break Down Hours as per actuals and Lunch break (30 min.) timings shall not be considered for payment. 5. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at the time of preparing the Running / final bills 6. BARC being a restricted place, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification / Clearance Certificate (PVC), driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. 7. The make and model of the vehicle should not be more than 8 years old, roadworthy with all valid documents. 8. The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically for safe and incident-free driving. 9. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision shall be final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 10. The vehicle should be a transport vehicle and preferably in white colour with a board "ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY". 11. The cost of POL, maintenance and servicing of vehicle including replacement of parts, payment to the driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability on these accounts. 12. The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. 13. The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, including Goods & Service taxes (GST). 14. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to the driver while executing the job. 15. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra. 16. No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract. 17. Hours more / less than 8 Hrs. a day will be paid / deducted on pro-rata basis. 18. In case of absence of Driver/vehicle for entire week, a compensation of Rs. 3000 /- per week, for not providing the service, will be levied on the contractor for that week.
