Supply install testing and commissioning of Diesel engine driven generating set comprising of four stroke vertical cylinder water cooling, directly coupled with AC alternator self excited, self regulated and screen protected dust and vermin proof with static exciation system capable of rated 30 KVA, 3 Phase, 415V, 50 c/s, 4 wire fixed on common structural steel frame on anti vibration pad, fuel tank, instrument panel, maintenance free battery with starting arrangement and complete set installed in sound proof acoustic enclosure canopy of suitable size as per CPCB norms, standard control panel with metering controls and standard accessories and fittings, necessary engine conforming to IS 10001/10002 and alternator as per IS-13364 complete all as specified and directed and comprising of the following :-

BOQ Item No 1 Contd/... (a) Engine :- diesel generating sets, powered by engines, are rated at 1500 RPM and conform to relevant IS specifications. The engine shall be capable to stand de-rating factor at Likabali Mil Station,Assam for 30 KVA rated out put of alternator. The engines are radiator cooled, four stroke and multi-cylinder and with the following accessories:- -Electrical starter motor 12V DC -Battery charging alternator -fuel system with governor -Dual spin-on fuel filter -Spin-on full flow lub oil filter -Residential silencer -Dry type air cleaner -Shut-off coil with safeties for LLOP/HWT -Flywheel and flywheel housing (b) Alternator :- suitable for operation at 1500 RPM, 415 Volts, 0.8 pf (lag) suitable for 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire system, conforming to BS 5000 / IS 4722. The Alternator is brushless type, screen protected, revolving field, self excited, self regulated. The alternator should have the following features: -IP: 23 Enclosure, Insulation class 'H' -Permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hours of operation as per standards (c) Fuel Tank suitable for 8 hours of operation with level indicator. (d) 12V, DC, SMF batteries as per manufacturer's instructions with battery leads.

Supply and laying of XLPE Insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade of size 35 Sqmm x 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode 600X600X6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr deep below normal ground level, connected to machinery/equipment etc and incl GI strip 32×6 mm dia as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, protected with and incl 50 mm dia light grade GI pipe, 20 mm dia GI pipe (Medium grade) for watering, necessary earth work. PCC 1:3:6 type C1 concrete pit, RCC (1:1.5:3) type A1 pre-cast cover (54X54X5 cm) duly reinforced with and incl 8 mm dia TMT bar @ 150 mm c/c both ways, one lifting handle made of 8 mm dia TMT bar, embedded in pre-cast cover slab all as specified and shown in electrical plate No-3 of SSR Part-I incl testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note- After completion, testing of earth resistace will be carried out and value should be 1 Om or below.In case earth value found more than that then either chemical mixture or new earthing will be carried out by contractor without any extra cost.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr width and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in any type of soil for laying of UG cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning using dry and clean tibba sand in two layers, first layers of 80 mm thick before laying of cable and second layer of 150 mm thick after laying of cable in trenches/ducts including consolidation upto 180mm thick complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Punned thickness only will be measured and paid.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class LV, Type I, flat, size 250 mm x 150mm x 40mm thick, concrete grade grade M-20 minimum, all as specified and as directed.

Returning , filling in incl spreading, leveling , watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soils.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr away and depositing where directed as a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point.

Supply and laying of GI tubing light grade in protection of cable at road crossing /hard standing/pole protection fixed with clamps as per site requirement etc all as specified and directed of size 50 mm dia bore.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded stone agg) as in plinth protection for installation of 30 KVA DG Set complete all as specified & directed.
