Notes for item No 01 to 15 : (i) As the work pertain to repair/maintenance of complete DRDL road network, items catered below shall be given in patches/ streches as per day to day requirement and as per preventive raod damage plan, no extra shall be paid to the contractor on this account. (ii) Pot holes, patches, repairs to roads and other CA work shall be addressed with in 7 days from the date of showing the repairs.

Taking down cement plaster of ,road devider wall or any description on stone or brick walls etc, including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as directed.

M&L for Brick work with Fly ashbricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius in CM (1:6),as in road devider wall including demolition of old brick work complete all as directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:6), on brick or concrete surfaces finished even & smooth without using extra cement, including preparation of newly plastered surfaces & applying three coats of white wash complete all as directed.

Providing and laying 40mm thick bitumen mastic wearing course (as per specifications) with industrial bitumen of grade 85/25 conforming to IS : 702, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of approved size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at approximate spacing of 10 cm centre to centre in both directions, pressed into surface protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, including cleaning the surface, removal of debris etc. all complete. (Considering bitumen using 10.2% as per MORTH specification).

Repairs to pot holes of any depth n.exc 1 Sqm each, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying tack coat using paving bitumen @ 5Kg /10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8KG/10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping , 6.3 mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of poth holes exc 30mm, complete all as directed.

M&L for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg / 10 Sqm, using paving bitumen, complete all as directed.

M&L for for laying bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness in single layer using bitumen of grade VG-30, with 5.50% minimum binder content by weight of total mix using hot mix plant and laid by mechanical paver and rolled and compacted, to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 ton power roller to a uniform smooth surface, complete all as directed.

M&L for laying premix bituminous macadam 75 mm or less consolidated thickness in single layer using bitumen grade VG-30, with 4% minimum binder content by weight of total mix using hot mix plant and laid by mechanical paver and rolled and compacted, to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 ton power roller to a uniform smooth surface, complete all as directed.

S&F in repairs flexible poly carbonate convex mirror 80cm dia encased in ABS material, orange colour for outdoor application including 75mm dia MS pipe for fixing mirror, frame with proper fixing arrangement (stand painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer) complete all as directed.

Preparing plastered ,unplastered or concrete on new surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint, over a coat of primer complete all as directed.

S & F in repairs Cat eyes, 100x 100 x 17 mm/ 20 mm size made out of poly carbonate and ABS moulded body dynamically designed very high impact strength and fitted with 2 Nos highly reflective reflectors (Red/yellow colour), complete all as directed.

Prepartaion of black bituminous road surfaces and applying thermoplastic road marking paint minimum 2mm thick with an applicator machine and heated mixer, with stirring mechanism at a temprature of 160 degree celcious, laid uniformly as directed. Note : Paint shall confirm to BS-3262 part I &II of 1989 etc, complete as per manufactures instructions.

Preparation of old painted surfaces and applying one coat of plastic emulsion paint on concrete/brick surfaces over 10 cm width on kerbs/ divider etc

Preparation and applying two coats of plastic emulsion paint over one coat of primer on concrete/brick surfaces over 10 cm width on kerbs/divider etc
