DEVELOPMENT OF SITE

Excavation in Soil by Manual Means . Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means including loading in truck for carrying of cut earth to embankment site with all lifts and lead upto1000 metres.

Excavation in Ordinary Rock by Manual Means Excavation in ordinary rock using manual means including loading in a truck and carrying of excavated material to embankment site with in all lifts and leads upto 1000 metres

CONSTRUCTION

Earth work in excavation in foundation and trenches etc. in all kinds of soil (excluding soil containing 50% or more of shingle or small size boulders up to 30 cm size, saturated soil and rock), lift up to 1.50 m and stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 m clear from the edge of the excavation and returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers, when required, into plinth sides of foundation etc consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus soil as directed within a lead of 50m.

Filling in plinth with sand under floors including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.

Providing and laying in foundations and plinth cement concrete 1 : 5 : 10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering.

Reinforced concrete work in foundations, footings, bases of columns etc. and mass concrete excluding cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement in :a) M20 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Cement concrete flooring 1 : 2 : 4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 12.5 mm nominal size) finished with a floating coat of neat cement

Reinforced cement concrete work in lintels, beams and bresumers up to floor two level including finishing and plastering the exposed surface with cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) of thickness not exceeding 6 mm to give a smooth and even surface but excluding cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement.a) M20 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Reinforcement cement concrete work in columns, pillars, piers, abutments, post and struts etc up to floor two level including finishing and plastering the exposed surface with cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) of thickness not exceeding 6 mm to give a smooth and even surface but excluding cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement.a) M20 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc and removal of form work for :a) Foundation, footings, bases of columns etc. and mass concrete.

Reinforcement of RCC work including bending, binding and placing in position complete.a) Mild steel bars.

Brick work with best available local bricks in foundations and plinth in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand).

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with PVC/ neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architecturaldrawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item) :

Providing and fixing aluminium tubular handle bar 32 mm outer dia, 3.0 mm thick &2100 mm long with SS screws etc .complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.Polyester powder coated minimum thickness 50 micron aluminium tubular handle bar each 591.90

Providing and fixing MS grills of required pattern in wooden frames of windows etc with MS flat, square or round bars with round headed bolts and nuts or by screws.b) Ornamental grill.

Providing approved best available local wood (Class-B-II) work in frames of doors, Windows clearestory Windows and other frames.

Providing and fixing aluminum sliding door bolts anodised transparent or dyed to required color or shade with nuts and screws etc complete.a) 300 x 16 mm

Providing and fixing MS fan clamp type I of 16 mm dia MS bar bent to shape with hooked ends in RCC slabs during lying including painting the exposed portion of loop all as per standard design complete.

12 mm cement plaster 1 : 6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand).

15 mm cement plaster 1 : 6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand) on the rough side of single or half brick wall.

Wall painting (two or coats) with plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture on new work to give an even shade.

ERRECTION OF FANS & LIGHT FIXTURES

Supply and fixing circular/ hexagonal M.S. sheet ceiling fan box with clamp of internal dia 140mm, 73 mm height, 3mm thick rim top lid of 1.5mm thick M.S sheet lidss shall be screwed into M.S. box by means of 3mm round headed screws, clamps shall be made of 12 mm dia M.S bar bent to be shape as per standard drawing with over all length as 80 cm

Installation, testing and commissioning of pre-wired, fluorescent fitting / compact fluorescent fitting of all types, complete with all accessories and tube/lamp etc. directly on ceiling/ wall, including connections with 1.5 sq. mm FRLS PVC insulated, copper conductor, single core cable and earthing etc. as required.

Installation, testing and commissioning of ceiling fan, including wiring the down rods of standard length (upto 30 cm) with 1.5 sq. mm FRLS PVC insulated, copper conductor, single core cable, including providing and fixing phenolic laminated sheet cover on the fan box etc. as required.

Installation of exhaust fan in the existing opening, including making good the damage, connection, testing, commissioning etc. as required.Upto 450 mm sweep

Light/fan fixtures :-

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of brass nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Providing and fixing 4.00 mm dia copper wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing along with existing surface/ recessed conduit/ submain wiring/ cable as required.

LIGHTENING PROTECTION

Providing and fixing of lightning conductor finial, made of 25 mm dia 300 mm long, G.I. tube, having single prong at top, with 85 mm dia 6 mm thick G.I. base plate including holes etc. complete as required.

Providing and fixing G.I. tape 20 mm X 3 mm thick on parapet or surface of wall for lightning conductor complete as required.(For horizontal run)

Providing and fixing GI-tape 20 mm x 3 mm thick on parapet or surface of wall for lightning conductor as required.(for vertical run)

Providing and fixing testing joint, made of 20 mm x 3 mm thick gi strip, 125 mm long with 4 Nos. brass bolts, nuts check nuts and spring washers etc. complete as required.

Providing and laying GI tape, 32 mm x 6 mm thick from earth electrode directly in ground as required.
