Labour only for checking the serviceability of different spares / components / parts of security light fittings (T-5, HPSV, HPMV, Metal Halide,LED LIGHT fittings etc, any wattage/capacity) of any description and in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, connecting to electric supply and its testing on installation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES FOR SCH `A’ ITEM NO 1:- (i) Fixing element of the new replaced part(s) is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor for above item and new parts shall be measured and paid separately as supply only against respect items of Sch ‘A’. (ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions, its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost for checking and fixing of street light fittings/security light fittings of any description on poles / on walls / on pillars etc i.e. in any position at site. (iii) Required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire , gaskets and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in above respective item. (iv) Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charges quoted above in Schedule `A' items for a particular fitting repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the fittings and replacement of unserviceable / defective parts in order to maintain the fittings in serviceable/working condition.

M & L for junction box hot press moulded SMC of inside dimension size 270x225x135mm and outside dimention 320x260x165mm with locking arrangements consisting of necessary suitable arrangements for incoming & out going cables with cable glands & having aluminium bus bar of 100 amps capacity for TPN on necessary base plate and porcelain base including necessary flat iron clamps with nuts, bolts & washers all as specified and directed. Note : GI strip upto 7.5 m length is included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor and beyond this length shall be measured & paid separately.

Dismantling of old security light bracket including cutting of welding, if required, fixed to steel tubular pole at any height with electric connectin and refixing the security light on the new bracket on the same pole all as directed. Notes : 1. The old unserviceable bracket shall be isued to the contractor under Schedule of Credit. 2. The new bracket shall be measured and paid separately under the respective item.

Cutting and trimming of trees and branches to clear the over head line in the arc of HT/LT over head line feeders and removal of the trimmed branches of trees complete all as specified and directed. Notes : 1. Any ACSR conductor damaged during the cuttings of trees / branches shall be repaired and jointed / fixed by the contractor, to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, without any extra cost and nothing extra shall be admissible from the department on this account what-so-ever. 2. The cutting / trimming of tree branches shall be done atleast 2.00 metre radius of OH line. 3. The unit of measurement is 'SPAN' i.e. distance covered between two poles.

Re-stretching of aluminium conductor any size and length complete including removing kinks and providing new binding wire /Jumper where required all as specfied and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
