REPAIR/ MAINT TO ROAD AND ROAD FURNITURE AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS AT UMROI UNDER GE UMROI

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of Unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10kg per 10 sq meters of paving bitumen (VG10) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, grass roots etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc. and applying a prime / tack coat of Catonic bitumen emulsion RS1 conforming to IS 8887 at a rate of application of 0.20-0.30 kg/Sqm on new or old top surfaces as specified in table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for Road and bridge work 2013 using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete, 40mm consolidated thickness using 5.5% paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) binder content any penetration by weight of total mix, mixed in central computerized hot mix plant and laid using mechanical self propelled paver and rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as per design mix. Contractor shall quote his unit rate considering the bitumen contents as 5.5 %. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of ₹67.00 per KG of binder. No adjustment in price shall be made if the variation is on plus side. "

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines stop line dashe arrow etc and the like not exceeding 10cm wide on road pavement with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Mandatory/ Regulatory sign boards of 900 mm diametre with support length of 3750 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours).Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc. complete as per drawing , specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge including taking down old.

S&F in repair traffic convex mirror of of 100cm dia having 130 degree viewing angle made of polycarbonate material , brim and back holding plate is made of metal/FRB along with pole mounted brackets and pole 60mm dia made with galvanised steel pipe of suitable length fixed to the ground by means of PCC 1:2:4 type B2 (using 40mm dia graded stone aggregate) in foundation/filling (size 50cmx50cmx60cm) all as specified and as and as directed.
