M & L for 'B' check of DG Sets of capacity 20KVA to 63KVA complete as per following :-(i)Draining out engine/lubricant oil, flushing including filling fresh oil after drain out old oil by skilled tradesman of DG set including replacement of oil pan /chamber gasket. (ii)S& F in replacement lubricant oil filter element. (iii) S&F in replacement fuel filter element. (iv) S & F bypass filter element. (v) checking and applying grease to battery terminals and checking its specific gravity including topping of distilled water /acid as required. (vi) General cleaning of oil/fuel spills, grease spots etc.(vii) Checking of belt tension and adjusting as per requirement. (viii) Checking hose and fuel pipe and fix new if required. Taking out unserviable asbestos rope from the exhaust pipe cleaning the exhaust pipe, supply and wrapping new asbostos rope of suitable size and wrapping with wire mesh and plastering with plaster of pairs/ white cement for smooth finishing including replacement of gasket and tightening of all nut and bolts all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting the battery 12 Volts 180 AH from the DG set shifting to workshop for further dismantling for repair/replacement of cells, plates, reconditioning, filling of electrolyte of required specific gravity and charging the battery, after repair shifting the batteries from workshop to E/M installation fixing to the DG set and testing complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting the battery 12 Volts 120 AH from the DG set shifting to workshop for further dismantling for repair/replacement of cells, plates, reconditioning, filling of electrolyte of required specific gravity and charging the battery, after repair shifting the batteries from workshop to E/M installation fixing to the DG set and testing complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting the battery 12 Volts 75 AH from the DG set shifting to workshop for further dismantling for repair/replacement of cells, plates, reconditioning, filling of electrolyte of required specific gravity and charging the battery, after repair shifting the batteries from workshop to E/M installation fixing to the DG set and testing complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F Battery charger 24 volt 10 Amps based on SMPS technology provides constant current with reverse protection and indicator. The charger shall support all brand batteries and compatible with 12 v 40 AH to 12 V 250 AH lead acid and alkaline batteries complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr deep for pipes / foundation etc for laying cable, shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 mtr depth and getting out in soft/loose soil etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading , leveling, watering and well ramming in layers each not exceeding 25cm thick in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for local sand cushioning,230 mm thickness with dry and clean sand, over and under the under ground cables in trenches, ducts for cable protection including consolidation, 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick after laying of cable and punned down to 180mm after laying complete. Note:- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose.

Dismantling the alternator of DG set, AC 3 Phase, capacity of 20 KVA to 40 KVA, 440 Volt, 1440 RPM, 50 Cycle of any make and type from the DG set and after disconnecting electric cable connection and earthing etc and transportation to civil workshop and back for minor repair and rewinding the alternator stator after cleaning with super enameled copper winding wire of suitable turn and gauge as per the original with proper insulation including varnishing, proving all high grade material and class 'B' varnish for insulation, reassembling the complete alternator and re-fixing at site with electric cable connection, earthing and testing of DG set on full load at site after coupling with DG set up to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
