Specification for Plant monitoring, surveillance, and sampling cart The cart is required for regular monitoring, surveillance,and collection of water and wastewater samples at STP. It shall be specifically designed and modified for the objective of monitoring/surveillance and sampling of water/wastewater samples within the plant campus. It shall be 4 seaters and a cargo box on the rear side of the cart to carry the necessary sampling box, safety items, and scientific instruments. The cart shall run on electric power modified and designed on the e-vehicle platform with zero emission. The cart shall be capable of running at the speed of 40 km/hrs and temperature 2OC to 500C. It shall be a four-wheeler with rack & pinion steering and a shock-absorbing system. The drive kit in the cart will be “Datai” or “Curtis” and batteries will be of Okaya, Exide, Genpro, Amaron, Luminous make. The cart will havespace to board the cooling chamber/box to carry samples of water and wastewater. The temperature of the cooling chamber shall be maintained from 20C to 50C in as per BIS 3025:1987. The bed box of the cart shall be specifically designedto adjust and carry water/wastewater samples and another box to transport the required scientific instrument to the sampling site/ Safety items. There shall be 2 number of sample bottle holders as per BIS 3025:1987 made with SS 304 grade. It shall have additional 2 rotating focus lights 30W in front having a range of minimum 500 meters in addition to the front light. A portable searchlight (handheld) 15 W, 1600 lumen with li-ion batteries (rechargeable) with a light beam distance minimum of 300 meters. It will have a high-power CREE LED. Body: ABS/Steel. The cart will have a first aid medical box and safety items likea Safety belt (2units), rope 20 meters, Buoyancy tube (2 units), Rubber nitrile gloves (10 pairs), Safety goggles (10 units), Reflective jacket (10 number).
