Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etcetra and to protect stability of hill side track shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification clause 1603.1 & 1603.2 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal and dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner , trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. The recovery for useful stones, for 47333.06 cum. (Forty seven thousand three hundred thirty three point zero six cubic meter) @ Rupees 170/= only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro rata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in soil in hilly area by manual means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with in all leads and lifts as per drawing and technical specification clause 1603.1 including carriage of materials within all lead and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in excavation for all tupe of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rocks, hard rocks, chiselling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting it prohibited) as per drawins and MORD. technical specification clause 305.1, 1104 and 1606.1 and as per direction of the Enigneer-in-charge inlcuding setting out construction of shoring and bracing, romoval of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all leads and lifts inlcuding dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavatged suitable approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundred fifty milimetres) compacted thickness including shorting and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub sloil water) upto all depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all lead and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying concrete 1:6:12(one cement:six sand: twelve graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty milimetre) nominal size for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specification Clause 802, 803,1202 &1203 and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete 1:4:8 (one cement: four sand : eight graded crushed stone aggregate 20mm (twenty milimetre) nominal size in open foundaitons complete as per drawing and technical specifation clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm (one hundred milimetre) dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slop of 1 (V):20 (H) towards draings face complete as perdrawing and technical specification clauses 614,709,1204.3.7 and and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Back filling behind retaining wall, abutment, wing wall and return wall with granular material complete as per drawings & technical specification clause 1204.3.8 and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm (Four millimetre) dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm (hundred into hundred mimllimetre ) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 % (ten per cent) extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg (twenty five kilogramme ) each as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301 and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Stone masonry work in cement mortar 1:4 (one cement : four sand) complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 702,704,1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials through modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts, as per PWD specifications and as per direction by the Engineer-in-charge. coursed rubble masonry (1st sort)

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete M-25 1:1:.5:3 (one cement : one and half sand : three crushed stone aggregates 20mm (twenty millimeters) nominal size mechanically mixed and vibrated in slab, bearing plate and wearing course work complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 800, 1205.4 and 1205.5 including curing and arriage of mateiral through all modes of transporation with in all leads and lifts, as per PWD sepcification and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement including cutting, bending binding and cost of binding wire in foundation, sub structure./super structure complete as per drawings and technical specification clauses 1000 and 1202 including carriage of the material though all modes of transporation within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying drainage spouts complete with 100mm (one hundred millimeter) dia galvanized mild steel down pipe corrion resistant strutural steel grating complete as per drawing and techncial specifications clause 1209 including cutting, bending, binding and placing in position complete in all respect including cost of binding wire upto any floor including hauling/carriage of materials though all modes of transportion with in all leads and lifts of materials and other incidential. The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete RCC Grade M-20 (twenty) 1:2:4 (one cement : two sand : four graded stone aggregate nominal mix 20mm (twenty milimetre) nominal size in foundation as per drawings and MORD technical specificaiton clauses 802,804,805,806,807,1202 and 1204 and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying flooring laid over cement concrete bedding of rubble stone laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement : three sand) complete ad per drawings and technical specification clauses 1303 including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and as per direction by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Stone masonry work in cement mortar 1:5 (one cement : five sand) complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 702,704,1202 & 1204. including carriage of materials through modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per PWD specificaitons as per direction by the Engineer-in-charge. Coursed rubble masonry (1st sort).

Random rubble masonry work in cement mortar 1:6 (one cement: six sand) for substructure complete as per drawing and MORD Technical specificatioins clauses 702,704, 1202 & 1204 and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Construction of dry masonary for retaining wall, breast wall, revetment walls and parapets etcetra for substructure and superstructure complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 704.6 and 1302.5 and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 900mm (nine hundred) milimetre dia for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement : two sand) but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonary work in head walls and parapets clause 1108 and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber earthe work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HPPWD specifications and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and re-rolling the sub grade complete as per HP.PWD., speification and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Stone soling properly hand packed filling interstices with kharanja stone and consolidating with power road roller to the requested gradient and camber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials moorum or earth etc. complete as per MORD specification. 150 mm (one one hundred fifty milimetre) spread thickness (finished workincluding materials and labour) and as per the direction of the Enginer-in-charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts and other incidentals.

Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross-sectional area 0.40 (zero point forty) sqm in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment with a lift upto 3 (three) metre and lead of 50 (fifty) metre (average lead 25 (twenty five) as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 307 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.
