REPAIR MAINT TO EXTERNAL SURFACE OF BLDG LEAKAGE SEEPAGE TREATMENT FLOORING SANITARY FITTING AND OTHER MISC BR WORKS

M&L for Dismantling/ taking down old existing unserviceable cement plaster, loose/ unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from existing external / internal surface of RCC roof/ slab/ beams/ columns/ RCC facias for an average depth of 25mm (Approx height 7.5m from natural ground level) with power driven pneumatic flat/pointed chisel and removing the honeycombed area including all the corners and making a neat profile of the cavities, roughen the smooth surface , scrapping out/removing corrosion all loose/scale/rust etc form the visible reinforcement by applying rust remover such as Rust Off 100 of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermax Limited (as approved by GE) and cleaning the steel reinforcement properly all as per manufacturer instructions and all as specified and directed and comprising of below mentioned process :-

(a) Providing cement based admixed with Sikacim, integral waterproofing liquid M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, , M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) @ 0.2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions over a coat of acrylic emulsion bonding agent such as per as Sika Latex in 1:1:3 ratio of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/S Fosroc chemicals, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) having specific gravity of 1.02 or as per manufacturer’s instructions with necessary surface preparation such as creating mechanical key like roughening the surface by scrabbing, grit blasting and cleaning the existing surface using high pressure water jet machine having pressure upto 500 bar pressure to remove the dirt, dust, loose particles , wax, efforencene and other contaminations from the surface of RCC columns/ beams/ slabs/ facia/ any brick/ stone surfaces etc all as per manufacturer instructions and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) Providing and applying FRIAZINC R, corrosion inhabiliting Active Zinc rich primer of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, , M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) along the exposed reinforcement surface property and allowed to dry.

(c) Providing and applying Hibond, Epoxy based Thixotropic bonding adhesive of Make of M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd ( as approved by GE) over the prepared concrete surface to get a good bonding between existing concrete surface and providing Sika Rep Microcrete 4 Fiber reinforced cementitious repair micro concrete of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) over Epoxy based bonding agent applied area before 6 Hrs etc including providing necessary proportions , bracing and runners to relieve the member from the load coming on it including scaffolding leak proof shuttering with working platform as required and as per design and pattern complete including preparing the surface to match with the existing surface all as specified and directed.

(d) Note : The work under (Item No. 1 to 4 of BOQ) shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the any following manufacturer only. M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited,M/s Thermax Limited

(i) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

M&L Repair to ends of chajjas/ parapets by removing old concrete, loose material & cleaning of the reinforcement and finishing the surface with rich cement mortar 1:3 , finished fair & even and making good with existing finishes complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to inclusive of double steel scaffolding.

Checking of floor, plinth, plaster etc requiring masonry work and carrying out minor repairs such as edges, patches etc, including petty repairs material like sand, cement & aggregate to make it functional complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The rates for plastering / plinth include for: (a) Preparing the surfaces. (b) Thickness of plaster/plinth key in joints, etc. (c) Anises, chamfers of any width, internal rounded angles upto 80mm in width or girth external rounded angles upto 80mm in width or girth. (d) All materials, labour and equipment & supply of integral waterproofing compound, (e) Scoring surface of plastering for key, where the surface is not required to be finished fair. (f) Plastering in patches (in repairs), exc 3 sq.m each patch, for preparing old walls to receive plastering'. Nothing extra shall be admissible for matching with existing work etc. (g) Any individual patch (other than nail hole, plug hole, etc.) are included for provided existing surface finish .

M&L for cement plaster rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces with two coats i.e. (10mm thick backing coat in CM 1:6 and 5mm thick finishing coat in CM 1:4) and mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement (WPC to be measured and paid separately) and Taking down old cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete walls etc., hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L applying two coat of cement based paint over a coat of primer, including preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces with smooth finish of any description, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement plaster rendering 5mm thick in CM 1:3 on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surface as in ceiling finished even and smooth without using extra cement and taking down cement plaster on ceilings surface etc., hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white washing on ceiling surfaces with smooth finish complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying / fixing TPO membrane of non-flammable waterproofing of roof which shall be 1.5mm thick loose laid membrane using Fosroc Proofex ORG membrane, layers are overlaped to achieve a minimum weld of 110mm. Hot air welding can be either hand applied or by means of automatic machines and the roll's either end are overlapped with 110mm are in staggered position and the membrane shall be laid over the layers of non-woven geotextile fiber. The seperation layer provided to prevent the mechanical abrasion and cushioning between the fosroc proofex ORG membrane and the concrete substructure . The termination of fosroc proofex ORG by aluminium strip anchoring. Note: Work shall be executed directly by manufacturer or through their authorised and qualified applicators, of any following manufacturer only.M/s Fosroc chemicals, M/s Thermax Limited, M/s Tiki Tar Danosa India Ltd.

M&L for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, Washing, rubbing down and stopping of distempered and painted surfaces and applying one coat oil bound distemper complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of old plastered or unplastered surface of ceiling and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, chajja, balcony, facia etc., brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent, trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls by Washing, rubbing down and stopping of distempered and painted surfaces,applying one coat of wall 1mm thick care putty and then applying two coats of premium oil bound distemper over one coat of primer as per manufauture instruction of required shade complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description and applying one coats of synthetic enamel paint not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of old painted surfaces of steel and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint over 10 cm width or girth, not other wise described complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Treatment of the sunken floor slab comprises of the following specification and all as specified and directed. Make :- Dr Fixit/ M/s Sika india Pvt Ltd/ STP Ltd/ M/s Fosroc Chemicals

(a) Demolition of cement concrete filling of any description in sunken portion in toilet and removing debris outside MD land.

(b) Cleaning the sunken/ lowered portion of RCC slab surfaces (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40mm thick avg PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in padding conc to achieve proper slope including cutting holes in bricks or RCC wall for spout (WPC shall be measured and paid separately)

(c) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 10mm thick in CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing as per manufacturer instruction. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/ seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out. (WPC shall be measured and paid separately).

(d) All junctions points of side wall spout where CI/ GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty.

(e) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean.

(f) Material and labour for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufactures instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+100mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed.

(g) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound as per manufacturers specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. (WPC shall be measured & paid separately).

(h) Material and labour for PCC 1:5:10 type E2, n exc 150mm thick complete all as specified

(j) Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 12.5mm thick aggregate, 50mm thick complete all as specified

Note for item No 21 to 30 :- Test the water proof area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage, seepage to the entire satisfaction of GE.

Test shall be done in presence of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply Only integral liquid water proofing compound (ISI Marked) complete all as specified and as directed. Make:-Dr. Fixit Pidi Proof and equivalent.

Note for item No 35 :- The work shall be carried out by authorised and qualified applicators of the above mentioned manufacturer.

M&L Repair to leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damaged portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed

M&L Repair to leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damaged soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damaged portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and finished the surfaces matching to existing wall to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 37 & 38 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case leakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as directed by the manufacturer's specification. Dismantling of floor, hearth or wall tiling incl cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removing rubbish off from premises & M&L for ceramic coloured tiles of size 350mmx250mm/ 300mm X 450mmx7 to 8 mm thick, on vertical surfaces, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured / white cement to match the tiles inc rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces as in backing coat to receive wall tiles etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and rubbish off the premises and supplying and fixing Joint free Non - skid coloured Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile of size n exc 0.18 Sqm in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match incuding screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and rubbish off the premises and supplying and fixing Joint free Non - skid coloured Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile of size n exc 0.18 Sqm as in vertical surfaces over 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 finished including dismantling of existing tile and disposal to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair vitreous china squatting pan 'Orissa pattern ' size 580 x 440mm white with integral foot rests incl connecting to 'P' or 'S' trap and to flush pipe anti syphonage pipe etc complete including provn of lime concerte bedding and making good to floor complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls/trenches bore of pipe 75 mm with PVC clamps and saddles including taking down old existing pipes and dismantling of cast iron/RCC/PVC drain pipes jointed in cement mortar and taking out from trenches or walls of any bore including fittings complete all as specified and as directed

S & F PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls/trenches bore of pipe 110 mm with PVC clamps and saddles including taking down old existing pipes and dismantling of cast iron/RCC/PVC drain pipes jointed in cement mortar and taking out from trenches or walls of any bore including fittings complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for cement plaster rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surface as on wall finished even and smooth without using extra cement and taking down old cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete walls etc., hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as per specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls applying wall care putty of one coat over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth finish and applying two finishing coat of oil bound distemper over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on brick or concrete surfaces of wall and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all specified and directed.

S&F Pre painted Coloured Galvalume roofing sheets 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminium alloy coating double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws and including dismantling of any type of old unserviceable sheets in roof coverings complete all as specified & directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified incl dismantling of old sheet complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying three coats of white washing on wall surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in framed work as in doors or gates of angle tubes or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces,guard bar etc., complete, to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering) and hanging; also fastening and fixing Fe 410 -W (Gde- E- 250) quality-complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Providing two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces over 10 cm width or girth including preparation of new steel surfaces all as specified and directed.

M&L for welding in repairs exceeding 2.5cm in length and thickness of metal to be welded in exceeding 9mm but no exceeding 20mm thickness complete all as spcified and directed.

M & L for 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone agg) as in Hard standing etc. with , spike rolling ,or making impression of expanded metal, while the concrete is green including complete all as specified and directed.

M&L polished Sadarahalli granite stone slab flooring 18-20 mm thick with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including 20mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 complete incl dismantling old stone slab complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing plant/Uprooting of vegetation growth including roots on wall/roof/parapet near pipes etc and applying acid treatment after removing roots for preventing regrowth and making good disturbed surfaces/area in superficial area exc 150sq.cm but n.exc 400 sq.cm and averaging depth not exceeding 10 cm by using PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) or 10mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:3 as required and finishing the surfaces to match with the existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Petty repair to existing roof treatment by means of torching to old APP membrane, sealing to joints, bitumen sealent,incl aluminium paint etc complete all as specified and direcetd

Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment of any description and in any position including PCC padding any thickness and cleaning, wire brushing, watering & removal of debris outside MOD land. NOTE :- Unit rate quoted shall also include for removal of PVC water storage tank and water pipe lines wherever existing carefully and refixing at the same or other position after completion of roof repair work

M&L Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 (by weight) complete all as specified and directed.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floors by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with waters to remove dusts etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brushing neat cement slurry with 3kg/sqm all as specified and directed.

M&L Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in lintels, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, padding, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed .

M & L for 10 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of mortar in cement mortar (1:4) for laying roof finish as padding finished with liquid WPC as per manufacturer instructions, complete all as specified and directed NOTE :- Integral WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Apply oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.40 Litre / Sqm manufactured by the same agency as that of APP with density of 0.87 to 0.89 Kg / Litre at 25 degree Celsius on the prepared dry roof surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L APP polymeric membrane min weight 3.0kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non woven fabric(wt not less than 150 gms/sqm laid on primed surfaces by torch application method complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of solar reflective aluminium paint @ 0.10 kg/sqm of membrane surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Petty repair to internal/external water inlet water pipe line coming from over head tank to the quarter including socket,elbow,nipple ,with repair to water blockage , pipe line leakage, cleaning internally , removing the blockage including concealed water tubing etc of any height using scaffolding and making the water supply functional complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 15mm bore galvanized steel water tubing, medium grade with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors including taking up or down old steel tubing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 20 mm bore galvanized steel water tubing, medium grade with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors including taking up or down old steel tubing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down & re fixing high or low level flushing cistren 10 ltrs capacity & connections to pipes & fixing of chain & pull or lever after cleaning inside of all dirt, scale formation, replacement of including rubber washers, syphon set, float valve, handle,fixing to wall clamp/bracket, stopping of leakage etc wherever required complete all as specified and as directed

S & F in repairs PVC low level flushing cistern 10 Lit capacity including necessary brackets incl connecting flush pipe etc and making good the disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Petty repairs to leaking water in bib taps, pillar cock, stop cock, angle valve, concealed stop valve, bottle trap of any description by changing the PVC washers/ Sheet washers,spindle brass,jumper brass or any other minor accessories (incl taking down and refixing) complete all as specified and directed

S & F in repair bib tap standard of PTMT any colour screwed for iron pipe and fixed,15 mm bore (minimum weight 90gms) complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs of Stop Valve standard of PTMT any colour high pressure screwed for iron pipe and fixed.(Minimum weight 15mm-90gms) complete all as specified and as directed.
