Transportation (by Road and Sea) of main rotor assembly, alternator, stator, exciter assembly, rotating rectifier assembly with diode plate of 1250/ 2000 KVA DG set including dismantling the above items from the 1250 / 2000 KVA DG set installed at 3.6 MW power house at NSRY, Port Blair to the authorised DG set service centre of "Stamford/ Leroy Somer" at Chennai / Calcutta including packing, loading, unloading at different locations as required using mechanical machinery as per standard practice and as per manufacturers instructions and returning back the same from Chennai / Calcutta to the same location at Port Blair from where it is taken, after carrying out necessary repairs/maintenance work. The contractor should ensure complete safety and security of equipments, while shifting and reinstallation of the item. Insurance coverage with any registered insurance company shall be taken before shifting the equipment for the insured value to the cost of equipment to cover eventuality during the shifting / transporting / shipping / reinstallation of the equipment and the cost of insurance shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. Draining up the fuel tank / diesel tank of 15 / 10 KVA DG Sets in separate empty barrels, disconnecting the fuel lines from the fuel filters and taking out the fuel tank and cleaning internaly and remove the accumulated sludge / sediments and arresting leakages, reconnecting back all the removed fuel lines and mounting the diesel tank in its original position, supply and replacing the drain plug suitable including painting of external surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling, dismounting of 63.5 / 82.5 / 100 / 110 / 125 KVA DG set alternator assembly from its foundation and transportation to workshop for rewinding of main stator with suitable gauge of F class enamelled winding wire of copper as per OEM recommendations, air drying, insulating varnish and becktrol red, heating insulation etc., and transporting back to its original location, refixing / reassembling the alternator assembly to its foundation including connection, amputation, hot and cold checkups etc., including alignment and testing complete all as specified and as directed.
