Excavation in foundation and trenches etc. (for pipe and pits) up to all depth and in all kind of soil such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out water, blasting in soft / hard rock, chiseling / wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all lead and lift including trimming and dressing of side, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting, planking timbering and dewatering where ever required, stacking the usable and unusable and un-usable materials/soil separately and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes, returning the useful soil trenches in 15 cm layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable materials as directed with in all leads/lifts including restoration of unmetered/unmetered surfaces to its original conditions and including cost of diversion of traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lift as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing circumferencial Butt welded joints by electrical arc welding to following dia API/GMS/MSERW Pipes welded in requisite number of weld runs including thread cutting so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.5mm to 6.3mm of Advani Oerlikon (Adore)- CITOJET/ESAB make, conforming to IS 814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects, including manual/mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying, jointing and testing in trenches (to level or grade) of GMS pipes of below diametre conforming to IS 1239-1990 (Part - I) with latest upto date amendments having minimum wall thickness as per class of pipe at both ends according to relevant BIS i/c all kind of leads and lifts, short pieces, bends tee and other specials etc. made from parent tubes and welded with butt welding as applicable for the perticular reach as per site conditions.The laying of pipes conform to IS 5822-1994 and as per CPHEEO manual and will include all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Supply of Submersible clear water Pump Set of KSB/Kalama/SU/Johnstion make comprising to latest relevant B.I.S. code. The Pump should be fitted with free flow mpeller of suitable alloys as per BIS 8034-376 with upto date ammendments suitable for clear water having greased packed bearing and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with shaft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP, RPM 2900/1450 of reputed make conforming to Kirloskar/Crompton/NGEF specification latest with upto amendments. The pump shall be fitted with a divice to take up expension of water with the heating of motor. The squirrel cage electric induction motor (Water-proof type of suitable H.P. motor of same make as that of pump confcorming to BIS-9287-1979 latest with upto date ammendments totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermedaite casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and greased packed lubricated bearing and providing with stainless thurst bearing plate to with stand the vertical load with minimum wear and tear.It should also be fitted with a divice to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. Providing and laying suitable size copper PVC insulated armoured power 3.5 core cable conforming to BIS 1554 (part-I) –1988 of latest with upto date amendments L&T/Finolex make form meter of HPSEB- to CB and form CB to Bus bar switch and starter (one cable carrying all three phases) including all other electrical equipment/accessories such as thimbles, flexible pipe solder, nuts and bolts, cable glands, etc. laid in pipes of trenches under floor. The type, size and make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities. In case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer. Supply side Suitable sizes.

Supply of PVC joint less flat water proof cable as per IS: 694-1990 latest with upto date amendments suitable for the pump sets offered from CB to motor including all other electrical equipment / accessories such as thimbles, flexible pipes solder, nuts and bolts, cable glands etc laid in pipes of trenches under floor. The type, size and make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities & in case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by tender.

Providing and laying double loop earthing with G.I. wire & G.I plate complete with material such as charcoal, common salt, GI. Pipes, thimbles, nuts and bolts, digging of pits, GI. Wiring and aluminum strips of required capacity conforming to BIS: 3043-1987 latest with upto date amendments for above motors and other electrical equipment’s.

Supply of floor/wall mounted power factor shunt capacitor conforming to BIS: 2834-1986 latest with upto date amendments L&T make to raise the prevailing power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connection to induction motor individually of suitable rating each including cable of siemens/Gloster/ICC make form bus bar chamber to capacitor and also including L&T/LK/Kilburn make ICTP switches conforming to IS – 4064 (Part - II) 1978 or latest with HRC fuses (range to be specified by the tendrerer).

Supply of standard make circular dial pressure gauge 0-16 kg/cm2 range of feibig make with all accessories such s stop cock, copper tubing etc, conforming to IS: 3624-1987 latest with upto date amendments.

Providing and laying delivery pipe of required dia. and common header one step higher than delevery pipe Heavy class as per IS:-1239-2004 Part-I jointed with MS flanges of table -5 as per IS: 6392-1971 (upto a length of 10 mtrs ) including rappers, flanges, rubber gaskets, nuts and bolts and specials upto 5 mtrs away from the outer wall of pump houses/well as per layout drawings approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and supplying of 1x3x6 mm² copper PVC insulated single core cable conforming to BIS-694 or latest with up to date ammendments of Havells/Fenolex make including all other electrical equipment alongwith allied accessories complete as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
