Earthwork in open / Surface Excavation not exceeding 300mm in depth but exceeding 1.5m in width as well as 10 sq.m on plan in all types of soil, mixture of gravel and disintegrated rock, hard stiff clay including grading and levelling neatly by breaking clods, disposal of excavated earth upto 50m lead & lift upto 1.5m, (Disposed soil to be levelled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed) etc., all complete as per specifications.

All kinds of soil upto 1.50mtr depth

Removal and uprooting tree roots with necessary excavation cutting the lateral roots, conveying the uprooted tree roots at the places as directed including filling the excavated pits all as per specification.

Providing and laying in position of plain cement concrete using hard granite broken stone for all insitu levelling courses in foundations, floor, roof screeding, encasing pipes, etc., including mechanical mixing, ramming, compaction, leveling, curing, dewatering, if any including the cost of formwork etc., all complete as per specifications.

1 : 5 : 10 (1 cement : 5 sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 20/25mm nominal size)

Providing and casting insitu Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:2:4 using machine crushed hard broken granite stone of nominal size 20mm including mechanical mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidation, curing, finishing smooth all exposed faces, for all insitu concrete items, etc. as per drawings and specifications. (Note :- The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and formwork which will be paid for separately under relevant items.)

Providing, erecting, placing in position and removing Formwork for all insitu concrete works at all lifts and all shapes such as circular works, chamfers, splays, etc., using Steel / Plywood shuttering including centering, scaffolding, strutting, propping with necessary bracing in all areas, fixing of EPs, cutting holes and fixing pipe sleeves, applying of approved form oil over surface in contact with concrete, de-shuttering after specified curing period, etc., all complete as per drawings and specifications. Note:- Measurement for the formwork shall be the area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Stop boards for construction joints will not be measured separately for payment. Centering and shuttering where exceeding 3.5m height in one floor shall be measured and paid for separately.

For Plain Surfaces upto 3.5m height

Providing, cutting, bending, placing and binding steel reinforcement using TMT bars of Fe-500D grade in all reinforced cement concrete works including cutting, bending, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire, cost of cover blocks in C.M 1:2, etc., complete as per specifications and drawings. Important Note: The required quantity of steel reinforcement as mentioned in the schedule should be procured by the contractor only of SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (VIZAG), TATA Steel & JINDAL from authorised dealers which shall conform to IS: 1786 (Latest Edition).

Providing, hoisting and fixing in position of following thickness of precast slabs in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 using hard broken stones of maximum size 20mm finished smooth of various sizes and patterns including necessary formwork and moulds, mechanical mixing, finishing the exposed surface, curing, fixing at all levels, grouting with CM / Cement grout wherever required, etc., all complete excluding cost of reinforcement which will be measured separately under relevant item as per specifications and as direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

50 mm thick precast slab.

Providing and laying brick masonry in Cement Mortar 1:6 with well burnt chamber bricks / FALG Bricks of approved quality in all shapes and sizes including scaffolding, curing, raking out joints, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and constructing 110mm thick brick work in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand) for partition / Kerb walls using well burnt chamber bricks / FALG Bricks of approved quality including scaffolding, curing etc., complete all as per specifications.

Providing sunk or flush pointing over RR Masonry in CM 1:3 above plinth for compound wall including cleaning the surface to receive pointing, finishing with float coat of neat cement, curing, scaffolding etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by EIC.

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5, 12mm thick over brickwork / Concrete on internal and external surface at all lifts including scaffolding, curing and forming grooves wherever necessary all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in­charge. [Note: 6mm premium glass fibre of make Dugar & Co or Recron shall be mixed with Cement @ 60 gms of glass fibre per 50kgs of cement]

Providing and laying Indian Patent Stone flooring of 20mm thick with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 Coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat Cement using 20/10mm and below size hard broken stones including laying in panels, cement slurry, consolidation, curing, rubbing the surfaces smooth etc., all complete as per specification.

Supplying, laying and jointing of following dia. of Rigid PVC pipe and specials of approved make with ISI mark as per IS 4985:2000 unloading at work site, laying and fixing the pipes and specials with necessary solvent cement of approved make, testing to required working pressure etc., all complete excluding earthwork excavation which will be paid separately under relevant item as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

40mm OD PVC pipe of class-3 (6Kg/Sq.cm)

Providing and laying of underground drainage / Sewerage uPVC pipes of SN 8 class (SDR-34) conforming to IS:15328 of approved make suitable for elastomeric sealing ring joints including cost of spigot and socket end pipes with provision for sealing rings, specials, cutting, jointing with elastomeric seals, testing, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

110mm OD uPVC pipes SN8 Class

Supplying laying and jointing of RCC hume pipes with collars of class NP-2 as per IS specifications including aligning to proper level and line as directed at site, jointing with Cement Mortar 1:2, curing, etc., complete as per specification.

450mm dia. RCC hume pipes

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge prefabricated cement concrete interlocking Solid / perforated paver block of M-30 grade made by table vibratory method using PU moulded with strong vibratory compaction of approved size, design, shape, laid in required colour and pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand including cost of sand filling, levelling with required slope, ramming the surface, watering, consolidation using vibratory earth rammers, filling the joints with sand, cleaning, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in­charge.

Providing and laying of Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) for Sub-base and base course conforming to clause 406 of MORT&H Specification for road and bridge works (Fifth Revision) using 53mm downgraded stone aggregate including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregate, premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver/motor grader in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, etc., all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying factory made FRP (Fiber Glass Reinforced) water gully covers of class 25MT without frame of 600mm width with perforated holes of approved make and size, design, shape, laid in required colour and pattern over existing brick masonry/RR masonry drain etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Labour charges for removing precast slab for drain cover slab of various size from existing storm water drain and stacking of retrieved condition and stacking at site etc., all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Laying old precast slab laid in required line, level, curvature, over the drain and including taking out filling the joints with CM 1:3 mortar etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Old precast slab shall be supplied by the Department free of cost)

Dismantling Plain cement concrete/Brick bat coba at all lifts including clearing and depositing the same with a distance of 100 metres as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling RR Masonry in cement mortar at all lifts including stacking of RR stone, clearing and depositing the debris within a distance of 100 metres all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling Brick work in cement mortar at all lifts including clearing and depositing the debris within a distance of 100 metres all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling Reinforced cement concrete at all lifts including clearing and depositing the same with a distance of 100 metres as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cutting the existing Bituminous road for pipeline / cable trenches including restoring to its original condition using the retrieved and supply of extra quantities of materials, etc., as per specifications and as directed.

Disposal of surplus excavated earth / Debris by collecting, loading, transporting by mechanical means and unloading them at places as shown by the Department within a lead specified below and levelling, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack / truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.
